That is called a marketing strategies, they make fun, laugh and jokes of their competitors in order to market their product that is more better with the other, but even that bitcoin still hold its back and stay strong as the top among all other cryptos.

Exactly, these guy have formed a cabal to always speak against bitcoin for personal gains either by slowing the market  so they can buy bitcoin for cheap or they are launching  an ICO which they will like people to divert their investments to join but just as you said bitcoin has always come out strong in the midst of all these challenges. They might seem to be joking on tv and on the media landscape but these guys are business men and  are jovially marketing  and denigrating bitcoin at the same time.

I think, you do not have to bother bother, Promotions of this kind is pretty good. ICO is doing this kind of thing just to attract and get more investors. However, if you are a wise and intelligent bitcoiner, you will not be easy to believe in this kind of advertising.
This is called an ad in my opinion. When you have your own product, you tend to promote your product and give negative feedback to your peers.

They are not making jokes. They are stabbing the King of the Hill, in the hope that the King would be stabbed fatally, because they want to be the one at the top. You know what they say, "The highest trees gets the most wind" and this is true for Bitcoin too.

I agree what the above said that this is just their marketing strategy because if you think of it deeply they never have their own code for making a token that has a blockchain and in fact they were just revising the codes of bitcoin to make their own token. Well, this is really how the market works, you have to do something in order to notice your product.

Anyone should not be bothered about news such as that, a lot of time I have seen several altcoin claiming to be the next bitcoin or planning to replace bitcoin. We all know its an advertisement strategy to convince the newbie to buy into their ICO. There is nothing wrong in doing advertisements or trying to portray your coin as the best, but do it in your own way, sell your own project to the populace rather than dragging bitcoin into your own publicity stunt that might eventually pay of because for someone like me, I lose interest in such project.
