I will say, all of the coins that have more than 30k votes have all had at least 1 BTC sent. In fact the only coin with a lot of votes that doesn't fall into the BTC wave (i.e. 20k +) is Grumpycoin (with less than .2 BTC sent). Sure it might be annoying that for MintPal they are essentially running a buy-your-way in scheme, but if the community is responsive and active enough just voting, I don't see why NOBLE can't get to the top too.

After all, if 50 people (which we've got to have) vote 6 times per hour and does this 8 times a day, in a week, we would have over 20k total votes too!

Sure that may be a little optimistic, but at the same time, it shows that we don't need to buy our way in to get results.

[As a note, I've been voting as much as I can.]

Will say, sometimes others feel a different type of necessity to give a coin the recognition that it deserves. But just because it is acted on, it doesn't mean it's a bad thing. We can still continue proceeding on. Just because someone wanted to vote for NOBLE with BTC doesn't mean that there is a bad slant or a good slant. It just means for that person, he/she believes in the value of a coin and is truly willing to invest in it (in a way, "putting their money where their mouth is"). Continue voting for NOBLE! It really will continue to have a bright future!

I have taken out coins twice in the last 3 days while trading has been stopped without issue. The only Problem I had was finding the site up long enough to make a withdrawal.

That thread is as good as nothing. They aren't updating their status, can't be that hard to write updates every few hours about the site. It takes about 5 minutes of their time.

Wanted to say that I completely agree with the dev here. Noblecoin has done a lot more than 90% of the other coins out there - and has a clear vision of where it wants to go and what it wants to achieve. I support it fully and as Digibyte has shown (it has 8,000 coin block rewards) you can have a lot of coins and be worth a lot more than Noble is at the moment.

Whenever people jump on new coins they're not 'early adopters', they're just chancers whose only hope for the coin is that it hits an exchange and they can dump it as quickly as possible.

If you are mining Noble now - even though it has been around for weeks - you are an early adopter. If you believe in the coin and you are holding some of it for the future, you are supporting the coin. You are getting a lot of Noble whilst it is very easy to get. If the coin grows - as we all hope - then you will in time be rewarded for your support.

However, this will not happen if at the first slump you jump ship to some other new coin and chance your arm on that. If you want Noble to increase in value: mine it, share it, donate to Noble charities, buy stuff with it, get a merchant to accept it, promote it - be part of the community.

Don't just moan about the value of the coin and the dev as if they personally owe you something. The dev in this instance has been communicative, has delivered everything they have said they would and are working hard at making this coin last. We can ensure the coin's survival by continuing to mine and continuing to help the community - oh, and also be prepared not to keep dumping the coin at whatever low price is offered.

Nice Post. I mine and buy gift cards but I'm not sure how that is helping the coin. I don't understand the logic behind that but It's pretty much all I can do and I'd rather do that with this coin than mine some shit coin and dump it. Pretty soon I will have to convert to BTC for electric bill though.

+1

This is so very true. I have been in the crypto-currency scene for a while and sticking with a coin and supporting its growth is one of the biggest things in making a coin successful. There are quite a few cases in which this was the defining factor. Of course, one of the hardest things in supporting a coin is maintaining the balance of paying costs and providing support. And sometimes, you have to take the bitter end of that pill in order to continue supporting a crypto-currency.

Again voted 6 times Smiley

Now 6880!

But seriously Zeitcoin is above us and they are a few days old!

Let's show how strong our community is!

I really think it's important to get accepted on Mintpal to be taken seriously by new people

Zeit coin is not even released yet, but has a massive community behind it from the Zeitgeist Movie series.... to be honest you're going to find it hard pressed to beat right now, it's got all the hype....

Hey Rofo,

I'm really liking the look of your marketplace, it's coming along quite well - nice job! I especially like the look of your price filter so I'm probably going to steal the CSS from it and put it on Earthazaar.com Wink If I can help you out with anything just let me know.
