hello, I am new to vertcoin.
I have a computer with DUAL AMD opteron 4171 HE and 14GB memory and windows OS
I am using minerd for quark and the hasing speed when I mine quark is around 700kh (on all 8 cores together)

when I mine with vertcoin minerd the speed is around 7kh
is that normal?
how many vertcoins per day should I expect?

Why use p2pool?

of Vertcoin by using p2pool if it works well for you.

To mine on p2pool, use your VTC address as username, and any password, so your command line should be like:

vertminer -o stratum+tcp://vtcpool.co.uk:9171 -u Vw44xQPqgwbqZVpRzPoHe6M4jAGYceiZZP -p x

Please follow the advice in the P2Pool setup guide and FAQ about setting your minimum
share difficulty - this will prevent HW errors and stales and improve your mining income.

I have received two payments of 15 VTC (so whoever you were please let me know). I will round up the others momentarily. The 200 VTC pledge from your IRC is not on my map, so drop them my address if you would.

However I have discrepancy as to who is doing the work at this point, as there were multiple responses. Please check with Vertcoin (the member by that name) and make sure we're all on the same page with the work order. I have no input on that decision (as I am merely a speculator... though a heavily invested one at this point).
