750 ti can mine a lot of other coins faster than an r9 290 too...just not scrypt and scrypt-n...and no x13 for now, but well.
It's the ultimate mining card, in every possible way.

With the proceeds you can go and buy vertcoin and get more vert per day that way.

By a lot of coins, wouldn't you just be referring to X11?

Only reason it's capable of better performance is because most cards do not mine to their full potential. Kind of dumb to give an advantage to a lower performing GPU. I wonder how many are using their 290's at full potential and not telling anyone. I also wonder what their full potential is for mining.

I'm personally enjoying this to no end. Thread of believers who can't have a conversation about the fundamentals of this coin. Sold my 15k stash between .002 and .00016. I still have 3 weeks to double down my stash. As nothing good is going to come out of VTC before now and then. I'm a bit excited about the SX and ASIC coming out but I don't hold my breath as scrypt-n is far from being the solution to ASICs. MYR might be better at this point.

I think VTC lack's a good PR team. Twice since it's been out BTC has had a possible 51%~ attack and nobody is talking about it. If you guys are not able to market your strongest points it's not good. Who else is going to do it for you ?

Lol how is trying to fix a real inflation problem spreading FUD ?

And lol at judging someone by his number of posts. I don't fill my posts with retarded comments like you do, that's the reason why I don't have 3k posts. If you judge someone's intelligence by the numbers of post you might be dumber than you think you are.

Lol because insulting everyone in this thread is trying to fix an inflation problem?

All that changing the block reward would do is benefit the holders now and potentially screw over newcomers.

Notice how the block reward's value in BTC or USD stays relatively the same after block reward correction?

A deflation attempt right now, or anytime soon, would ultimately solve nothing for the future.

You just did.

Took one glance and all you do is spread FUD and/or insult people.

I judged you by the way you insulted everyone and several other statements made above.

Having like 40 posts is just the icing on the cake, my friend.

Sell them and get a lot of GTX 750 Tis...evga sc are my favorite.

What miner do you use and what hash rate do you get, settings would be useful to know too. Odd to think that even using 4 cards i'd be getting less hasrate but according to coinwarz making a profit by a few cents rather than a loss with the cards i'm sending back.  Anyone know when the next nividia cards might come out and what performance might be?

Tell me dear friend.

1. If a company sold 1 share for 100 buck. How much do you believe this share would be worth after 2 weeks if nothing changed in the fundamentals ?

2. Now if said company sold its 1 share for 100 buck and decided to print 10 more shares and to sell them on a given exchange. How much would the 11 shares be worth ? Let's assume, yet again, that the fundamentals didn't change.

3. Now if the company decided that from now on they were going to print 10 more shares every week ?

That is what is going on here and that is why the price will just go down to oblivion until something changes in the fundamentals . And this phenomena is going to rinse and repeat every time. The value of the company might be increasing as a whole but your investment is just being diluted times and times again.

You can see that in all PoW coins.

You can check my post history and I never posted in any PoW coins but VTC as I believe in it but not as an investment vector anymore. I made several longish post trying to challenge the status quo but alas you guys prefer to insult people with FUD allegations and what not.

Cryptos might replace the FIAT at some point but I believe that an over inflating crypto is not much better than USD. Instead of having the fed printing money, it's an algorithm. What is the difference really. If no innovation are made, printing twice the coins is just going to diminish your holding by just as much. DUCY ?

The MAJOR difference is that an algorithm prints money at a reliable, predictable rate, based on how much work you put into it (unlike the FED - they print at anyone's whim at varying rates). The phenomenon you talk about, how the price rises upon new features being introduced and slowly declines, only happens until we see mainstream adoption. Look at bitcoin - the price floats by itself, not based on any one item. This is the end goal for any coin.

Every coin has to print new coins somehow to put new coins into circulation. What is the most fair way to go about this? You advocate PoS but does that not favor early investors too heavily (early investor favoritism can be somewhat mitigated with PoW by starting with a higher difficulty)? Does it not entice people to hold onto their coins (to print more coins)? Why spend them when you will get more? At least with PoW there is some incentive to spend your coins.

Vertcoin added to Bidcoind.com as a payment method to buy / sell goods and services with Vertcoin.

Generate buzz for Vertcoin by listing quality items for sale totaly free of charge and merchant mine MTC on the side,

www.bidcoind.com

Everyone is talking about merchant integration for their coin, saying that theirs will be the one,

well if you don't start to demonstrate merchant application for it, then who else will?

pay direct to the seller no middle wallet. start small gain more feedback comments and go bigger soon your reputation will speak for itself more coins for more positive feedbacks from buyers.

Win Win Win situation

Sell quality stuff for your coin and generate publicity for your favorite coin +1
Get more of the coins you like by selling your new or used items + 1
Get Marinecoins on the side by merchant mining them without extra effort +1

your accounts are credited 0.5 MTC as gift good for listing upto 5 items with basic settings.

make sure you enter a valid Marinecoin client wallet address during registration but not a mobile or web wallet,

no listings for illegal items,
no spam listings items with picture and detailed description ONLY
valid user registration, do not use fake names fake address your account will be suspended
this is as serious as Ebay
Lisitings of 14 days minimum or longer duration required to qualify for mining block rewards
No listings under crypto currencies category, exchanging coins is not a merchant activity.
You will get results within 180 blocks on the network about 6 hours on target network speed, delayed 180 blocks payouts gives time to delist unwanted or illegal listings and listers who spam the site just for getting MTC.

There is feedback area after each successful sale, seller and buyer can give each other feedbacks the more feedback you have the more coins you make by selling your stuff more easyly.

if more than 1 person lists an item during the same block interval they share the block reward of 1 MTC, how ever if more than 10 people list an item in order for you not to lose your listing fee of 0.1 MTC, the reward auto doubles to 0.2 for each seller,

list an item mine block after block until someone else lists an item,

you can ssell your items for Vertcoins, you will still get merchant mined Marinecoins,

Mined coins auto cashout to your registered wallet when balance exceeds 5 MTC, but you can also cash out manually if you wish when your balance is below that.

goto www.marinecoin.org to download your MTC wallet to receive your Merchant Mining Block Rewards

then goto www.bidcoind.com register and list an item and wait for the MTC rewards to flood in to your wallet,

Enjoy

If you havent noticed anything by now
The only defense against asic is an "active" defense.

Let me reference what has been implied by devs before

Part of VTC asic defense is once those alleged scrypt-N asic came out, VTC devs will hardfork a little bit of parameter to render those scrypt-N asic useless.

The ASIC companies are going to develop ASIC for anything for profit, as ASIC for any algos are inevitable, no human made algorithm or scheme will stand against concentrated human effort and thinking.

What the VTC devs plans to do is to let these ASIC companies try, and once they are on the market, devs will announce a new wallet with a little bit of parameter fork. Just a small bit of thinkering that is not going to affect the blockchain but will effect mining so much so that you have to rebuild a new vertminer with new set of parameters and render your asic scrypt-N useless.

VTC devs have made the warning before, if the message is not taken seriously, well asic companies have to take the message the hard way. Pissed off customers receiving useless and expensive miner (scrypt-N asic takes more ram and more money). Well maybe not that useless they could always mine vanilla scrypt at ROI costs exceeding vanilla scrypt ASICs Cheesy

And you're wrong about 51%, boris has tried hard and once made a public statement here against bitcrush for not doing anything to stop registration. Speaking of 51%, I think btc has far more serious threat in this aspect (ghash.io) . And we've yet to see anything terrible manifest from it.

Silence is golden, reveal all your cards and there's nothing you can do to punish those asic companies.

wow cool where can i buy this clothes?
planing to run a half marathon (22km) in fall this year. would love to do this with some vtc clothes.

---------------------------------

@mig5000 i understand your fear but i think you are wrong (holding several thousand vtc myself).
your suggestions would maybe raise the value of vtc short term, but cause harm long term (loosing credibility & trust)

i have full faith in the vtc team, will hold my coins for the next month or years and even buy some from time to time
innovations such as stealth adresses, and other things like that are the way to improve the value and i think this is the route boris and his gang will take.

i'm sure we will see some ups und downs in the coming months/years but i guess you have to live with the volatility if you invest in cryptos.
btw. vtc was already a this level some time ago ... so business as usual in crypto land Smiley
