1. Scrypt-N ASIC, We have looking for another algorithm already. We have planed to implement it in GPU and CPU miner after we released Stealth Addresses.

2. Multiple PoW, In order to change to the new algorithm, it must be smooth transition as much as possible. We have planed to implement multiple PoW from Scrypt-N to the new algorithm. According to the plan, it will be Scrypt-N -> New Agorithm + Scrypt-N -> New Algorithm.

3. Multipool & Inflation, We still discussing the solutions with team members to find the best way to solve it, but it will do nothing until we released Stealth Address.

4. Stealth Address, It is in progressing.

He complained that the devs havent been saying anything, and I pointed out that they have been. Nothing more. We'll see what is decided. I personally want the block reward changed. If it is done carefully, the negative impacts can be mitigated.

How could this possibly be done fairly? Some people have 10s of thousands of coins. If we reduce the reward how is that fair to new people? Can you provide an example of a fair way to do it?

Paul Bradley's EasyNode. is using virtualbox, im sure you can install virtualbox on windows.

and third option would be installing wallet and p2pool manually...

Guys, now that I have a little more spare time on hands, I'm looking on build my own node.

I noticed two options around:

Did some of used any of those? If so, which one did you found easier to use/build?

From what I read, Paul's EasyNode is just for Linux? Is this correct?

yeah, i am already over it... trying to take crypto forums seriously... if you have been holding VTC since end of january (as i do) I will accept your comment, otherwise keep your "2cents"

I was just pissed by the fact that the discussion almost stopped at a crucial point. going trough all those pumps without selling proves that i am not into VTC for the short term. But it is not my intention to explain this in detail to everyone showing up here and telling "smart" things.

Guys this is not inflation. This is wafflepool. Look at their VTC address:

32,000 VTC dumped into BTC so far.

That's certainly not helping things. The constant sell pressure. It's odd that having a profitable coin to mine can be such a crutch sometimes.

In the past few weeks it is more profitable to mine X11/X13 with GPUs than nscrypt.  It's baffling why some miners continue to use nscrypt if the intention is to collect BTC.

With that said I've been mining with X11/X13 to buy VTC.  With VTC dropping I'm also losing dollars so I'll now just hold and wait, no more buys at the moment.

      Where did you get that information? Vertcoin is always more profitable  the mining than example. Darkcoin. This is the current situation on Coinotron:

MEGA use easy node .
Virtual box can be installed on a Windows machine and the node can be up and running in minutes merge mining VTC/MON/PLX.

Hi, Bushido

There were some discussions between me and two well known GPU miner's developers about POW dedicated for GPU, but hard for ASIC...

Project is frozen now - but some thoughts are still worth of consideration, and I would glad to see it implemented in Vertcoin, if POW change is possible.
Should I describe it here or better more confidently, via PM for example?
