Each time we've seen red market, we need to  take this  as our advantage to invest with certain project that we are believing that will go back to its floor and bounce back even more stronger, the market seems to be wild while bitcoin is trying to grow little by little, the alts market will follow so better to make sure that we will be able to gain good profits when we start investing.

For the last month, I chose credits to be my investment, because the price is stable and not decreased. But nowadays some altcoin is falling in price, I think if selling it will be very detrimental to us due to the declining price of altcoin and maybe it's time for you to buy it for future investment, at a price that is currently decreasing if you believe that the coin will go up then you should buy it, but to guess the coin is nice very difficult. Hy guys. Most of the time I use to trade with altcoins and I use to sell altcoins when they are above ICO price and giving some profit. I do not hold atlcoins for long time. If you not prefer hold I suggest you try day trading with medium period ( 4H - day - week ), with this method you don't have see chart all time. For me, as long the price reach my stop loss or take profit point I'll sell it and face the result. You should prepare all possibility that might be happen with your transactions depend market trends. Not easy but practice make perfect.

it is good if he cannot hold altcoin for a long time and he prefers to sell the altcoin to get the profit. I think we have our own strategy and some of us prefer to hold in a long-term and the other prefer to sell in the short time. I think if we can see that the price is above than the ICO price, we can sell it for half or more to take the profit and we can keep the rest of the tokens and it's not a problem if we are trying to keep it for a long time because we are already to take the profit.

The best time to sell altcoin for me is when it listed for the first time because it will get hyped and pump high, so I sell my altcoin when it pump above ICO price because it will surely dump right away and buy again. When I buy low or microcaps I sell 50% as soon as they go 2-3x. I'm not a good trader yet and for me this is the best strategy. That way I'm not stressed so much during the dips.
Also, regarding my mid or big caps - sometimes I sell them before the big news and rebuy after some time, at the lower price.

I think your way is pretty good, and I do the same thing. by selling our altcoin at a high price means far more than selling it. because the usual altcoin values ​​will be lower after some time.

The ICO price is the best deal when you sell your altcoins. If it goes down lower than that, just make sure you have gained enough. If you are already losing, just try hodling the altcoin a bit more. For sure, the price will follow right after the developments of the project. Just give it a time. It will not take days or weeks for the products to be released and polished and get the backing of the desired investors.
