^ That's in such big writing it must be true...We don't need to see any evidence to back it up now do we?
No, everyone is happy with that and nobody should be able to miss it.
Thx. nearly got suckered along for another 3 years. Tongue

Wow, thats a lot of evidence based information there....

So the same must be said about Ripple as well???

DigiBot Version 3.1 Update Proposal

Hey guys, first of all I wanted to say that even though I've been absent on this forum for a while now (I am however active on Telegram) I am very much still part of the DigiByte team and try to work on my various services as much as possible. Having said that I wanted to propose some new features to be added to DigiBot the DigiByte Telegram chat bot! Since the last update (around May/June) DigiBot has received over 80,000 unique command requests from across the cryptocurrency community. It remains the standard cryptocurrency related bot among many popular Telegram groups.

As with my previous DigiBot updates I am asking for a small bounty from the community as incentive for me to perform this update. My bounty request is of 500,000 DGB. In order to contribute you can do so directly on Telegram using the DigiBot command /tip #DigiBotUpdate 10000 (if you want to tip 10,000 DGB for example), this uses the beta version of one of the new features proposed below. You can also contribute by sending DGB directly to the address below.

DGB bounty address: DN8C4QorvHfhXrm4k5Ld5VwpmB9uk5DPfV

BTC donation address: 1FSXGsaZ5TikkeSu7Rq83AwBPbGaqqRthp (note these will not be included as going towards the bounty)

Features:

  • Create an "altcoin index" based on indexed volume and market cap weighted prices from a basket of altcoins
  • Formalize #funds mechanism into a DigiByte crowdfunding mechanism on Telegram
  • Make /help commands PM only (and make /help more user friendly)
  • Add other BTC exchanges to the /price btc command
  • /tweets command for recent DigiByte related tweets
  • /status command for status (online / offline) of important DigiByte websites
  • Deposit, withdrawal and tip history commands

I hope the community is interested in this update and let's make it happen!

Alaniz

What is the best pool for mining this with an Sha256 ASIC?

I think this coin could double its community if you had a evangelist to try to get people to mine it with their old ASICS.

The age old dilemma...mining support.

Argentum has been having it's fair share of intermittent SHA miners. If anyone ends up pointing their old SHA miners to DGB, don't be shy, merge mine Argentum!

I pushed a minor update for Electrum Digibyte today. Still could use help in the "compilation department", if anyone has free time.

Just FYI there's 115,000 DGB sitting on DigiBot (on Telegram) for you when you've successfully created the binaries. I wish I could help but Im swamped atm IRL and the little devving I can do is going towards other things. Thanks for your contributions dude!

I can get BTC Electrum, and the latest LTC Electrum (with updated Wine scripts) to run just fine. Can't get DGB Electrum to run on the same Windows machine even when using LTC's updated Wine scripts.

I can't seem to track down a log on Windows. I checked the event viewer and did a search with no luck.

I think what coins like this need are not so much new miners but the bagholders, whales, and wanna-be-coin-faux-millionaires to release their holdings to a marketplace so they can distribute the economy of the coins.  Otherwise, human jealousy just wants to see you fail.

err?
You can practically buy 20% of all  dgb in circulation off Poloniex market now without breaking 200 satoshi. There has never been a better opportunity to move in on this coin, IMO.

Coins in the 0-100 satoshi on any currency are considered cheap... maybe not good but still cheap. Im not sure what your comment on human jealousy means. The idea of purchasing an asset is to later use and make profit so if you do that then you basically invalidate your statement as you yourself have become what you dislike.

Jumbley was right though. From past experience dgb has gone from 35-60 sat so its in the medium range on price at present. The jumps to 1000 sat and 400 sat were pump group efforts to make money.

If you look at this coin compared to some others, it doesn't seem to have the very high levels and then long term at very small levels.  The levels are wide but not that wide.  I don't know what the ROI is to the current marketcap.

I meant jealousy meaning instead of people wanting to see the still remaining halfway decent coins grow, and especially SHA256 ones, they would just as soon not donate time, kind of an unconscious jealousy that if they don't win out, the other guy doesn't either.   People should utilize the old Antminers for this coin.

This should now be resolved. Please let us know if you are having any issues still with the gaming platform. On DigiByteGaming.com you can earn DigiBytes by playing League of Legends and CS:GO.

We also want everyone to know we have been actively working on the DiguSign document service.  We have received much interest in this and will continue to bring it to a more advanced production site.  The service allows any individual or company to "eSign" and embed a document in the DigiByte blockchain.

The new website is also closer to being launched with and updated roadmap and more detailed DigiByte blockchain explanations.  Thank you everyone for your continued support! And as stated many, many times we are in this for the long haul!
