Nah, it's just the circle of life. Flavor of the month is zeta and blackcoin so everyone else's btc is focused on that.

Now is a good to time to buy. I buy some at 7100 (it reach that price point on mintpal a couple of hour ago). Just don't panic sell or else you're pushing the price lower.

But you need to know that Team UTC does not quit, does not give up.We know all the things we are developing and we have shown a road map of it (which can be found on page 580.

Team UTC does not doubt the future of the coin, and at this price the coins are a steal.

We have found new devs who are working very hard on the list that we have provided,and Dcgirl is building an incredible arbitrage program...Later this year we are expanding into the minecraft community which has 30 miljon players and 500k servers.and we will take some of this as our userbase for the coin ( in game economy with UTC)

I take it Diff does not read correctly? Current Diff:85.1k?

Though you will not find an answer to the diff question - it's the same one asked often.  Scrypt share difficulty is 65,536 times what the reported difficulty is, so if it shows 85.1K, the diff of the coin is around 1.3.  Displaying it like that is confusing I guess, but it keeps the units of difficulty the same throughout the program and interface.

I was drawn to UTC because the product is great.  Great products are easy to sell.

I stayed with BTC because of the community.  If some can believe in a product this much, why can't the rest of the world?

My hands will not get weak, and if UTC pulls through "This is a great time to buy!" 

However, this is a contest in which we have many competitors.  Perhaps Blackcoin is the strongest at the moment.  We should monitor our competition constantly.  After I saw this info on the BC thread, I began to have second thoughts about UTC.  I don't want to have second thoughts, so listen up:

We do not want to cause confusion in the marketplace, and we also do not want to incite unnecessary competition amongst ourselves. Instead, I have decided to support the CoinKite project and use my resources in helping that partnership grow.

3.) As I previously announced I will be using my own resources to quickly build a network and infrastructure around BlackCoin. I wholeheartedly disagree this coin or community should take baby steps. We need more talented people who are willing to help in any way they can to help this community grow.

4.) Finally... Today I would like to announce the BlackCoin Card Wallet. As some of you know I am software and product developer, and since CoinKite will eventually supply our debit cards, I wanted to shift focus and  create something special for the community. Currently mining with a few rigs with 7970 and 7950 cards, friend of mine owns a pair of 5870's and wants to mine UTC too.
But I can't seem to get the cards running with cgminer, anyone with a good stable config for these cards please?
