In terms of marketing the coin, It seems like the smartest thing to do right now if focus on the ASICS resistance attribute of the UTC and how it relates to the pending SCRYPT-ASIC apocalypse. Is UTC being positioned to attract GPU miners that are going to get pushed out of mining LTC and company?

I must say at current nfactor I am loving life again. Cards runs cool and smooth

Can someone PM me their config for the R9 280x? Id like to still mine UTC, but, even with the few people I've tried their configs don't seem to agree with my cards.

I will soon be writing an article about Ultracoin's new payment processor, CoinPayments. This is a huge victory for the Ultracoin community and we need to make our success known to the crypto world. I am looking for suggestions for the upcoming Ultracoin article from the Ultracoin community. Any suggestions are appreciated  Smiley Specifically, any mining related expertise would be appreciated, as this is where my knowledge is most limited. Scrypt-chacha is one of Ultracoin's biggest selling points and I think it would be beneficial to explain the value of our hashing algorithm in a way that is easy to understand.

If writing an official article about UTC the algo is called scrypt-chacha and using cryptosextoys to publicly promote the coin is like sticking your finger up your own butt!  Something better left undone.

Each n-factor change causes lower hashrate and lower power usage (good for summer Smiley ) but you get the same amount of coins. You can write about n-factor schedule  http://ultracoin.net/nfactor.html

Premine: 2% (1.6% IPO / 0.3% DEV / 0.1% REWARDS)

bumface still have 1,600,000 utc, each utc worth 0.000018BTC,that would be 28btc!! wow ! rich man

no devs,no buyers, who care this coin?

only some miners stayed, they still mining and sell at once!

why not  reduce the reward of each block to 5 or turn to FULL POS?

28BTC is hardly rich, at least if you live in a first world country. And the block reward will eventually half anyway do don't touch it. Let it keep going, don't worry about manipulating the money supply, worry about increasing demand. Let's get these merchants from the payment processor to accept UTC.

Promoting sex toys is retarded, great all you little 5 years olds think it's an epic idea.........fucknuts, seriously, grow a fucking brain, you think "sex toys" are something clever? different? look at every other shit coin out there. they all promote the same thing.

Do any of you look at this as a proper "business" or is it a fuck about?

I'm defo leaning towards the latter, if that's the best you can come up with.  Just take a look at coin market, from 40 last week to, well, look for yourselves..............

128    UltraCoin   $ 187,230   $ 0.012044   15,546,112 UTC

Does that look like what you are doing is working?

No, thought not.

Keep dropping that block reward, it didn't work the first time, all you calling for it don't have a clue wtf you are asking for.  It damages more than helps, no miners want to work at a major loss

So fucking what 2 miners have a high hash rate, whats up with that, jealousy?  Count yourselves lucky guys with that much hash power are supporting your coin.  For someone that claims to be a "UTCminer" you don't seem to know much about the process, maybe you should go read up on how mining actually works

There's a lot I could put here, but seeing I have moved out of UTC.  I will save you and I the bother of reading more.

Take this as insult, take this as criticism, take it as help, tbh, I don't care anymore, 2 devs down, how long will the next one last, ask yourselves  Huh
