What happened to all the hype for Coino? It seems like it has died down and that people are slowly losing interest :/

So I post a simple observation and now i'm attempting to be a "troll"? I guess it makes sense to accuse some one being a troll over something that you can easily see for your self. I'm not trying to "troll" nor am I not interested in Coino. I have been mining it since it's release and are holding on to my coins for when it reaches it's true value. What I said wasn't an attempt troll but merely an observation, Coino was pushing 1 GHS + but is now down to only half of that. This forum post is also receiving less activity than it use to. So if the hype isn't going away then what is the cause of this?

I dont know but somehow people expected it to hit cryptsy in the first or second week, wich did not happen.. maybe some hype went away there. Also it seems that after the attack on the pools the nethash has not come back.

According to this http://altcoinstats.com/ even at this exchange rate it fairly profitable so i think there would be more mining.

Thats not true at all, The traders are those that are leaving, those kind of people that trade & dump, they see that nothing fast is happening so they leave and start mine other new released coins just to profit more per day. Many people are saying like you but you guys dont understand that Coino is not a trade & dump coin. This a long-term coin it may take weeks or months before we see real results. The reason why the value is low at the moment is beacuse traders dump their coin and start mining next one beacuse of their misstake. But thats good for us! Wink More coin to pump and more  to invest in. Coino will have a great future and have a high potential to beat Litecoin.

well maybe it's not that much going on in this thread anymore but in their own forum http://coinoforum.com/index.php there are already 2000 posts and 550 members talking.
nice own community, many giveaways, nice bounty's...when it hits cryptsy the price will go to the moon sooner or later especially with their plans!

I think we're on day 20? We haven't even hit a month yet, haha. Not sure what you're expecting exactly, everything seems positive to me.

If the traders are dumping that works in our favor as we buy up the coins and wait till later.

Coino is for POS and everyday use, might take a little while to get there. I'm confident we'll get there though. I don't know why exactly I believe this, the specs make sense maybe?

Of course peoples interest is declining when the price drops and mining is unprofitable. The worst thing that can happen to such a new coin is when scam pools like coino.info reject to pay-out the user coins. Why should coino exist? I dont see any advantages compared to other interesting coins. There are coins that have a much bigger competitive advantage. Coino is just pump n dump

How hard is it to understand that Coino.info has no relation to Coino, get a grip of yourself. It's pretty normal with pools that scam miners it happens all coins. Do some research before you open your filthy mouth and thoughts. Second of all its a risk you take when you decide to mine on a random pool that have no info or anything, my first thought was that it was a scam pool beacuse the owner of that pool didnt put any effort on the site. Blame yourself.

I have never been scammed by pools beacuse I have BRAIN to minimize the chance, you sir you DONT!

Hi everyone

I've just received my steam "Total War: ROME II" game from con.poolers.org giveaway.

... this does compensate some of the losses I have because of the recent price dip  Wink.  But I'm still holding, waiting for promised CON mobile wallets, may never sell it if that actually materialize.

Good luck!

We are all glad that you got the game, but why would you have thought it wasn't for real ? The pool owner would stand to gain nothing from this and as he stated earlier, he is running his pool at a loss for the moment.

Hi, yes sorry, " ... it was for real in the end. " was just a general thought for those who may have doubted it. There are so many "bogus" pools around that sometimes you may see it first to believe, but it doesn't apply to con.poolers.org, I'll definitely use it again if CON become profitable to mine.

The pool owner should think about other coins if he wants to stay profitable lie MAX, KARMA, TOP, and so on. The flexibility and quick response to the market trends if quite important in this business .

Will re-edit my message and remove it.

Cheers
