Set your buys... this is best time to enter.... We need to bounce from this support

Hey man, i thinkt this is flag on pole bullish or pennants bullish and if yes, you're right with buy point.

BUT we've to notice that this big pole is after huge crash and next pole = pole 1 in lenght so I think this would be too much as a rebound for DRK now.

Yes, it's possible but I think that we won't see 2nd pole with flag now. I bet 20% for 2nd pole and 80% - another scenario, probably slowly correction.

Very interesting situation at chart now. I don't have DRK now but I watch this patiently because I like to look at charts and try to analyse/read etc.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Kristov Atlas update ....>>

http://blog.anonymousbitcoinbook.com/2014/08/visualizing-one-round-of-darkcoins-darksend/

VISUALIZING ONE ROUND OF DARKCOIN’S DARKSEND+
AUGUST 21, 2014 CATLAS
I’m currently performing a security and privacy review of the not-yet-open source code of DarkSend+, the privacy technology implemented in the Darkcoin crypto-currency. This effort has been crowd-funded by the generous Darkcoin community.

In the coming weeks, I will be releasing information pertaining to this review. I’m kicking the process off with a diagram, explaining in broad terms how DarkSend+ works, aimed at those not already familiar with the technology.

DarkSend+, an iterative improvement on Darkcoin’s previous DarkSend technology, is a CoinJoin-based technology that allows Darkcoin users to mix funds with each other. This functionality is built directly into the reference Darkcoin wallet software. CoinJoin takes advantage of the fact that Bitcoin transactions are not limited to a single sender or receiver; in fact, DarkSend+ transactions often involve two or more senders. Previous CoinJoin implementations have been limited in that they require senders to meet at the same place and time on the Internet at the moment they are prepared to send other users money. DarkSend+ skirts around this limitation by mixing funds passively, according to user-specified parameters, in the background; when the user is ready to send anonymized funds to his recipient, the funds have long since been mixed and no further work is required. This approach provides Darkcoin clients a marketplace of funds to mix with at everyone’s leisure, rather than desperately seeking out (and waiting for) other willing and compatible clients at the last moment.

Users can select how many rounds of DarkSend they want their funds to go through in order to be considered “anonymized.” The more rounds, the more privacy the user will have, but more rounds will also expend more transaction fees and time. The user will also instruct the client about how much of their funds they wish to be anonymized. The Darkcoin wallet keeps track of how many rounds of DarkSend funds have gone through in order to meet the user’s standard, and will not allow the user to do an “anonymous” send before that qualification has been met.

The diagram below shows the flow of my funds (indicated in blue) as they go from a Darkcoin testnet faucet payout of 1000 DRK through a single round of DarkSend+ for 100 of those DRK. By the end, those DarkSent coins will be mixed with other users’ (indicated in red). Before that begins, there’s a “splitting” phase that takes place in which the 1000 DRK is broken down into smaller chunks more suitable for the denominations that are compatible with the DarkSend process.

****** PLEASE UPDATE TO v9.12.32 (Stable) OR 10.12.32 (RC) *******

Due to the upgrade to a larger keypool in RC4, some users have reported slow client / lockups and in rare cases data corruption.
This only effects encrypted wallets and we have not seen this issue on freshly made wallets with the new keypool size at all.
If you're running RC4 with an encrypted wallet please migrate your funds to a new wallet running 10.12.32.
This doesn't effect the stable client at all (v0.9).

BIP32 (deterministic wallets based on seed phrases) would be really nice in this case because as long as you have the phrase,
restoring every possible key is as simple as restoring the wallet from the seed phrase.

This update is not mandatory for masternode operators

- Added a darksend overview box showing some generic information
- Display n/a in coincontrol for negative numbers
- force users to update to wallet version 60001 when they have an encrypted wallet

Source: Compile if you are running a pool, exchange, etc.

How critical is it that I update my pre-RC3 MN? Last week I received 7 consecutive days of payments which was a new record for my month in a half old MN. Now I haven't received anything for 3 days. What can I expect with my MN while I wait for help to update? Thank you.

Oh, and what does the acronym "RC3" mean?

RC3 version is incompatible to RC4. Most MNs were upgraded faster then pools did and that's why you earned more.
But most pools are upgraded to RC4 now too so you will earn less or even nothing. And once enforcement is on you'll be kicked off the network.

https://drk.mn/blocks.html#perversion
Note number of blocks mined by RC4 and RC3 pools and Est.Earnings/MN/Day for RC4 and RC3 MNs respectively.

Oops. I meant RC4.

Is updating like setting up a new masternode or is it less involved? I had help setting up my masternode on an Amazon AWS MC. If it was simple for the average dude then I would go for it. However, the thought of my 1k DRK derezing suppresses my adventurous spirit. Is there a nicely illustrated guide to do an RC4 update? If not then I will certainly keep on waiting.

Hey all!! I have created a Darkcoin Info website.... There still a fair amount of investors that don't use the forums as much as we would hope, especially the new comers and I figure new money is always something we want to cater to. Thats why I decided to make an easy 1 stop site for everything Darkcoin... its still in early development and no where near ready but i have big plans for it. If any1 could make a sweet ass Darkcoin Price Ticker it would be greatly appreciated. www.darkcoin-info.com

(sorry for the bad pic its from my nexus.. its not fully mobile friendly yet)

Any questions or suggestions let me know... its lacking content but im in the middle of filling that all in... Take a look a around
Donations welcome Wink

I think it would be so sweet if someone would take the time to make a youtube video on how to set up a masternode. It may even attract more non-technical savvy people to accumulating more DRK and setup masternodes. Hint...Hint...Hint...
