You guys should take a look at joining Fortress Crypto Investments. Lots of upcoming opportunities are known by us first. No pump & dumps, just solid picks to point your BTC towards. It's a nice change from the regular groups you see. The amount of support I get from them is fantastic too. You can use code "Zurg" when you join aswell.

website : www.fortresscrypto.com
email : tips@fortresscrypto.com

Not impressed.. lot of generic shutterstock images and some claims that I would really like to see substantiated. Could you throw us a proof of your early DRK investments? Otherwise the claims of your past 10000% RoI look fairly weak.

It's always a scam guys, ALWAYS. No one shares info which is worth a lot of money to tons of people, the markets are too thin and illiquid for many people to be able to profit from it.

Very scamalicious. Who are they and what's their experience? Show me a time-stamped claim of buying each of those cryptos at their lows and selling at the highs. Show me this technical analysis. Bullshit galore all over that site. Beware.

I own a DASH Masternode.... And you should too.

I put an unofficial feature request for BTC<>DRK running through the Master Nodes, which, now I find this service ^^, I can tell everyone about.

It's not guaranteed to be worked on, but I think that because of this service being available for LTC, and soon other alts, it will be worth keeping track of this service and pushing a little harder for something similar.

Being able to move from BTC>DRK>BTC for a very small fee to MNs would be a killer application (why would you need DarkWallet?), especially if we could effectively have wallets acting as BTC and DRK mini-exchanges / liquidity, and the MNs as the automatic escrow.

Make it so number 1

Is that service based on open source code?  If not, what makes it different from an exchange (other than a super simple interface)?

Apart from the simplicity that can not be underestimated it is absence of registration. People hate that stuff.

Looks like a person is creating masternodes by the 1000 drk ending addresses. However, there was also a 50 or so drop in masternode count. Not sure...

My thought is that it's got a bit to do with the Doge pump. It's gone up 4x in the last few weeks. People that made a losing investment all those months ago at anything in the 25-100 satoshi range are now looking to get their money back. At this point I'd guess they're bailing directly for cryptofiat.
Just a lot of money that's been tied up for a long time finally getting untied.

My thought is that it's got a bit to do with the Doge pump....Just a lot of money that's been tied up for a long time finally getting untied.

Shouldn't that be the Dogue "dump" in that case ? People are exiting to USD out of BTC. If they were taking profits from Dogue they'd have to dump Dogue for BTC first.

Personally, I never call the "manipulation" card because to me it's just all supply and demand. But I watched the market just there and what happened was this:

 - it was drifting down and got to 376 on very low volume
 - some accelerated dumping started which got it down to 364
 - at that point, a massive sellwall appeared - about 196 BTC right on the bottom rung of the asks
 - at least 120 BTC of it got bought within a minute and the rest either disappeared or got bought
 - now the market's on its way back up with 1436 on demand, 586 on offer

In other words, someone was sitting there with $45,000 of off-orderbook budget who knew exactly what they wanted and got it.

Conclusion: institutional investors in stealth mode starting to stock up.

(P.S. The reason I suggested that isn't because they're looking for low prices - they're not - they're looking for liquidity. Bitcoin is very illiquid and grabbing yourself 120 BTC at any given time is going to cause a bit of a splash. To get the liquidity big buyers need you need to shake the tree a lot harder).

This is the third retest of sub-400 BTC since December's revaluation.

If it holds above 350, we might be in business. The BTC gods might just say "ok folks, - survived GOX, survived malleability, survived death by a thousand cuts from adverse press, survived the competition of a flotilla of altcoins, survived your third retest of sub-400 BTC - your good to go".

If it does, DRK will take off with it.

Heh, I guess. But there's also the new buyers taking the place of the old buyers. Just speaking from my own dealings is all. I bought a million a few months ago. Just put it up for sale on the exchange recently, and then someone bought it. In this case, I 'dumped' half my doge for DRK, and half for BTC. The BTC I personally sold for fiat because I wanted some money back.

Personally, I never call the "manipulation" card because to me it's just all supply and demand. But I watched the market just there and what happened was this:

I agree, the manipulation card is thrown around too often. Often times people confuse manipulation and the voodoo that comes along with the term for just people running bots that want more DRK. I'm not ruling it out, but in this case .. mintpal was migrating to a new API if I read correctly. If they were, trading bots running older software wouldn't work so they'd be 'off', while the migration to v2 was complete, possibly pushing the DRK volume down because people had to accumulate manually instead of automatically.

Also, there was a spike in BTC right before DRK slid below .008. It seems that people are hedging DRK for BTC if you ask me. BTC went up 10% one day, the next few days DRK dropped 10-15%. Now BTC is dumped out again (following the continued Doge pump), and all of a sudden DRK is back up to .008.

So, in relation to the list you gave above, could it be the the 'liberated' BTC from previous Doge holders were in a sense 'easier' to acquire than it would be to acquire from other holders of fiat/BTC? I think these pumps across the alt world right now are a direct movement to scare new holders of BTC (people who until recently held an altcoin, but conveniently sold on its recent pump - which many have had recently) into selling it for cheaper than they would have been able to sell it for.

I'd say put people on your list who are famous tax protestors:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tax_protester_history_in_the_United_States

Quote
A tax protester is a person who denies that he or she owes a tax based on the belief that the constitution, statutes, or regulations do not empower the government to impose, assess or collect the tax.

My favourites:

  • Larken Rose
  • Wesley Snipes
  • Irwin Schiff (father of Peter Schiff)

Those are people who are not afraid to go to prison (!) for their conviction.

For the record, I don't have a problem with paying taxes, it's the way they are collected on so many levels and so many fruit looped ways that I do not agree with.  If tithing is good enough for the church, it should be good enough for the government, period.  And the Federal Government should stick to federal duties, such as protect the homeland and.... er..... um.... yah, protect the homeland.  The states can build their infrastructures without the feds telling them how, and the local governments can do their thing/infrastructure, police, etc.... with each division of government receiving their taxes directly from their people, the total not to exceed 10%,,,  maybe .05% to the feds, 3% to the states and the rest to local.  Broken down by who deserves it, LOL.
