The last couple of versions (qt 64 bit) don't work well with me. I tried 46 and 49 but still. It syncs with the blocks and then hangs at 75% of syncing the masternodes. With 46 I did a -reindex, with 49 I erased the entire data dir except the wallet, still the same.

Debug.log reached 153mb after a while, spewing

Yes only dashd and dash-cli if you are running a MN.(even dash-cli is not 100% needed, but if you want run command like getinfo, masternode list full... You'll need it)

The video turned out awesome in English!  Thanks Alex-Ru for starting this and to everyone who has been working away at translating Alex's videos!

Lets brainstorm about the upcoming roadmap update a bit, what do you feel should be in there and why ?
Hell, we may even give the dev team some new ideas ...

Focus-points for consideration i came up with so far without having a clear preference yet  :

* Scalability
* Wallet Security (setting up some encryption on whole wallet for example with wallet access through pincode)
* Improve Wallet User-Friendly even more
* Masternode Blinding
* IP obfuscation / Integrating TOR tech
* Doing R & D into Wallet Exchange feutures

I would like to see the last two first.  I think, if we had tor like technology, we wouldn't need ip-blinding, no?  And getting an exchange directly from the wallet, using the open exchange (forgot the name) that already exists would be fantastic.

I know Evan has an answer to scalability, it came naturally out of the double tiered network that we have, and the wallet encryption so it can't be opened in the first place would be a nice feature, but not the biggest issue atm for me.  Though, if it's easy to unlick (kind of like unlocking an iphone, with swiping) I'd use it.

So that leaves making the wallet more user friendly.  This is of course a big priority, only problem is figuring out how it can work better??  There is always a trade off between simplicity and options

I think, if we had tor like technology, we wouldn't need ip-blinding, no? 

If we had a Tor-like network with masternodes, we would definitely want blinding/obfuscation/whatever, because people have been prosecuted for operating Tor exit nodes. It would have to interface with the clearnet and we'd want to protect those points of contact.

Guys, for a pseudo donation address, I made a mistake when trying to pair an address(and same private key) from the cold wallet and another hot wallet in order to get the masternode payments safely without starting the cold wallet.
I was wrongly looking at the change address from the payments and thinking that this could generate a safe private key to share with a hot wallet but really the private key is the same as the 1k Dash.

There is still a way to use this method but a code change is needed in order for the masternode payments to go to another (none 1k) address in the cold wallet and then share that private key with the hot wallet, effectively what was the donation address is now a cold wallet address so bad security and hijacking should be impossible.

Thats as close to a workaround as I can get, maybe I've overlooked something, anyone ?

Yeah, would be great to have something like that to keep the cold storage COLD! - even with all the type of protection I think people have mixed feelings when opening the hot wallet.
