When is that dumper going to run out of coins?  Angry

Well everything is about perspective....  It depends on what side of the trade you are in, I am now the proud owner of 2.1K DASH more, waiting to be turned into Masternodes by Sir Flare in the next couple of weeks.  Grin

This is going to sound extremely nooby, but as an MN owner, why would I be happy to see the number of nodes rise?

Because it means the project is making progress and you are smart enough to see that the long term success of Dash will be your success too.  Wink

Less coins on the market, the higher the price should be, the more protected the masternode network is, better expanded mixing, the faster syncing etc...

tell me, anybody have the full rich list  Top 1000-10000 and Top 10000-100000?  Smiley

Hardly useful when the majority of the coins in 1k chunks are setup as masternodes.

This is true, is not very helpful for the intended purpose. Having said that, I do use the total addresses as a way to measure growth in general. I remember last year when we had like 20K addresses total, now is north of 100K that is at least one positive KPI you can derive from this.

Well, actually what happened was the dumper dumped as soon as the .01 liquidity approached 1k, but then immediately after that, the .01 liquidity suddenly jumped to near on 7k dash (9k if you count the .099 bids). The "phantom dumper" then did not avail themselves of that new liquidity and instead appears to have put their asks back in the order book at the .0115 levels - where we were before last week's big dip started.

It's the P1-KID.  Phantom 1-K Iterative Dumper

Yes, but since then, anytime someone uses Darksend, a bunch of addresses will be created in the process, so not sure how meaningful that number is either.

ugh - again - MN DOWN!!!!

WTF???

 - -- -
One word of advice - If you run a Pi2b: >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>     Protect it from flashes of LIGHT!!!
That's right - flashes of LIGHT can and will re-boot your Pi2b
Don't ask me why but for some reason - when the Pi2b is exposed to a bright flash of light - it re-boots

strangest thing I ever seen a computer do - uhhh....
It must be overcharging that flux capacitor.  Check your SD card, maybe time for an upgrade.

I was just thinking last night that I did not back-up my SD card after this last build from scratch - ugh
which just means that I'll have to rebuild from scratch again

(I added a pix and question to the OP :-P
30% CPU usage, is the CPU overheating?  You can get some heatsinks to put on the 3 or 4 chips that get hot - good idea if you have a case.

I have to mention this graph isn’t psychologically correct.

Biggest volumes are in red, but blue is more noticeable color…
So in fact most volumes of recent sales are going from 2015, not 2014.

We can see that most instamine (red lines) was successfully redistributed in the beginning of 2014.

In fact sales don’t look huge. We just see a weak buyers. Hope promotional campaign will fix this misbalance.

I was walking down memory lane on this fine day and came across a piece I've not seen a while:

Enjoy the show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=egDcPjd0JyI

I was also thinking - can somebody make an UPDATE?

this is good  - VISUAL

Unfortunately that's not possible any more because the re-base from Litecoin to Bitcoin removed most of the 2014 references.

I could render a video for 2015, but that wouldn't be the same...

Photoelectric effect: It's because there's a chip that has exposed silicon -- common for some chip packages.

(and it has to be a pretty high energy flash, like from a camera flash)

lol, can't get more basic than a bare wafer straight out of the oven.
Btw, he did say it doesn't matter about the colour at the start, not every incoming photon will trip your PI2 out, try putting a filter on the flash to take out the high energy blue light (lots from a xenon flash), leaving only near IR red colours.
E=hf, so the higher the frequency the better, generally.

Aha, he kind of says that later on. Grin

Dash is 27.3 times faster with syncing and updating than Bitcoin and 93.7 times faster than Monero. Bitcoin (v0.11.0) has a Tao ratio 11.2% faster than bitcoin (v0.10.0) release.
Dash (v.0.12.0.49) = Tao sync ratio = 0.15 seconds / hour of update || Dash (v.0.11.2.23) = Tao sync ratio = 0.24 seconds / hour of update. V12 versus V11 speedup = +36.5%
Bitcoin (v.0.11.0) = Tao sync ratio = 4.14 seconds / hour of update || Monero (v.0.41.1)  = Tao sync ratio = 14.2 seconds / hour of update
