Yawn.  Bcash ABC devs, to their great shame, raised the white flag and surrendered their wild & free consensus mechanism to centralized checkpoints almost a year ago.

Why celebrate the weakness and uselessness of Dash's cucked, permissioned, fake, stage-managed PoW theatre like it's some kind of victory?

Fascinating. Andreas Brekken just stated on livestream that the ABC team reached out some time ago to all exchanges, and pushed out a patch that invalidates deep reorgs. Further, that all exchanges will be implementing another patch that includes what he termed a centralized checkpoint. The net result of all this, if true, is that SV will be unable to reorg the ABC chain out of existence. No matter what the relative hashpower may be.

The ABC-ers seem to celebrating what they are terming a win. I don't understand this, unless their concept of 'win' is 'unable to be reorged out of existence'. Certainly, this does not preclude SV existing into the future, or even still to become the preponderance of economic activity.

And I was so looking forward to seeing an actual hash war.

Dash is afraid of actual hash wars, because they are losers who are very much aware Dash can't survive in the brutal world of Nakamoto Consensus, where the longest valid chain rules with no permission needed from Nanny Masternode and her gang of Instaminers.

Yeah, its always nice to see someone like FluffyPony do a 180 degrees turn with regard to his opinion on the masternodes concept AND then also feel a need to reference Dash in order to get his point across.
Maybe this is the day hell freezes over and Icey makes a 180 degrees turn as well and becomes a true Dash supporter ?
