Cool, another noob or troll (or both) that does not know what a premine means. Premine means mining before public launch,
which was never the case with Dash. Truth is only trolls and noobs still try to hang a premine on Dash.

Now you have to wonder, if this person does not even know what a premine means, what else does this person not know about ?
Claiming Dash was premined is like claiming Bitcoin was premined, it just comes across as dumb to those that actually know what
a premine means. Ultimately this damage someone's credibility on this forum.

Maybe this person also believes that the earth is flat, just because he does not understand what the word 'round' means.  
Now i'm okay with noobs and trolls making a fool out of themselves (i see that on a daily basis), i just wish they knew they were making
a fool out of themselves. Maybe this post will help with that...

Indeed Chinese President Xi Jinping made a speech about wanting to invest more into blockchain and everybody has to focus on the word BLOCKCHAIN.

They want to invest in BLOCKCHAIN not DASH or BTC and the main idea is to build their own cryptocurrency.

I don't think this will change anything especially regarding private coins like Dash.

If current Dash instant transaction technology was implemented by all exchanges, there would be no need to wait for BTC confirmations. Dash could be used as the defacto currency of traders, allowing instant value transfer to and from exchanges. We should never stop getting this word out to those exchanges! I don't think this will change anything especially regarding private coins like Dash.

There is undeniable fact that the news from Chinese President Xi pumped the market first. Later on, Chinese cryptocurrencies rocketed. Recent pumps remind us about lessons of news' impacts on market movements, both pumps and dumps. Depends on types of news and when news releases.

There are lots of people who know that China over years has not had too many impacts on cryptocurrency, which is somehow presented through their percentage on global bitcoin full nodes (and there are more other things). Anyway, if one got profits from recent pumps from the East (partially from China), yes, it is very good for them, after recent months of dumps and consolidation.

Yes, I agree that this news has a significant impact on the price of cryptocurrencies and added a lot of fuel to this recent spike.

But I think that was only because of the hyped word blockchain which was used in the speech and what is even more important in all news around the world and in headlines (made up game folks  ) everybody started immediately to think about cryptocurrencies, but when he said blockchain - he means blockchain and not 3000 cryptocurrencies and let's be honest, maybe only 10 real cryptocurrencies and 2990 shitcoins   .

I have read articles from this speech and President Xi never mention the word cryptocurrencies, only said that they are very interested in blockchain technology and want to prepare China for new national stablecoin, additionally to implement blockchain solutions in various industries across the country. Still, he said nothing, no single word about Dash, BTC, ETH or any other cryptocurrencies which spiked because of that speech.

I already learned that when people talk about blockchain, the majority of the times they don't talk about cryptocurrencies, only blockchain technology itself or implementation into various products and other things, I can even hardly imagine. At the beginning of 2010 or even still at the end of 2013, I also thought that when I hear the word blockchain it literally means cryptocurrencies and in particular Bitcoin, but as I said, I learned very fast, that what they mean is exactly BLOCKCHAIN and nothing more.

I would describe it as evolving to the next crypto level when you finally realize that blockchain doesn't have to be or to mean cryptocurrencies anymore.

It is okay, i understand it is rather difficult admitting to everyone reading this specific Dash Announcements thread, that despite your legendary account you obviously do not have a
clear grasp on certain basic crypto definitions like premine, fastmine, instamine and rather want to blame it on semantics, then on an obvious personal lack of understanding.

If we were in a race to have the highest marketcap that would be an issue. We are looking long-term, as such we are focused on real-world usage and adoption. Building a payment network that delights users and improves the functionality of money. If we do that well, value will come. This is not a hype coin, quite the opposite. I wish all the other projects well, though, there’s room for lots to succeed.
