Anyone got a dual card (Mines an R9 280x and 5850) sgminer syntax for the GPU miner so they both work correctly.

Currently the R9 280X using the default 280x.bat file that came with the gpu files for Darkcoin is showing around 1.7MH which seems way to high when compared to other mining pools.. but the 5850 only shows about 50kh and both are not running very hot.

Here's a copy of the bat. and conf and output from gpu miner:

It's hard to break in, I understand.  The best way to buy bitcoins is through https://coinbase.com/ they are based in the USA and have a good rep.  Now it will take a few days to get your coin and they trade for drk.

I hope this helps.

1. fix the intensity in 5850 (just 8 )
2. this is not scrypt, so the GPUs are not stressed as much (and are not as power hungry). Apparently some hashes are lagging the whole operation so the GPU has idle time.

I guess this rise can't last for long. Should be some drop. Even if we head further up after that.

Actually it did drop. Yesterday. It was 0.002 then went back to 0.001. Now back to 0.002+.

I really can't compute the More's law to find out how the payout is effected by the difficulty and I don't understand why the blocks take so long to resolve?

aren't blocks supposed to be delivered and calculated ever so many minutes?  If we get stuck on a block for hours, does that mean that confirmations can't happen, and coins are stuck in limbo?  The trade can't complete??

Obviously, that's not the case, as my  money is coming in ok, and clears pretty fast. But. if anyone has the skills to make a graph showing difficulty vs payouts or something, that'd be so nice to have, also if there is any way to guesstimate how long a block takes to solve, that'd be also nice to have as a reference (block difficulty*hash rate or something vs time?)

That was temporary spike, I wouldn't count that as there was no such volume.

Block solving time is stable and is 2.5 minutes. That's why we need difficulty for. Simply your pool may not get them often due to its hashrate.
Currently (diff>75) there's a new formula if you missed it.

Hello guys.

I could use some help. Please!

When opening the wallet this error pops up:

Basically it says it incapable of linking to port 0.0.0.0:9999. Darkcoin wallet its not already working.

At other computer, I cant use the sgminer:

I tried almost everything. (re-installing both miner and wallet, used different settigs, etc)

Please...  Cry

what's your darkcoin.conf
is it contain  server=1 ?

Hello maxmag. Thx for reply.

My darkcoin wallet has only one file. Darkcoin-qt. Nothing else. Should I create an darkcoin.conf?

mega

1. type %appdata% in start search bar
2. open ..\Roaming\darkcoin folder
3. check if darkcoin.conf exist and open with notepad
4. if not exist, then create textfile with following values

Code:
rpcuser=username
rpcpassword=password
rpcport=1234
server=1
daemon=1

replacing password for something generic

5. then save file as "darkcoin.conf" in ..\Roaming\darkcoin

Both wallet.dat and darkcoin.conf didn't exist. I created the .conf with your settings, restarted the wallet but error occurred Sad

Check well if you don't have your wallet running or gohst process:
check the small trayicon.
And double check if there is no process darkcoin-qt in your task manager.

@TanteStefana : coinwarz is only for scrypt coins..

19th on coinmarketcap.com ....... Go go go go

Wallet working (on my wife's laptop, but still Smiley)

Thanks for the help. If anyone knows how to make the miner work will very appreciated  Smiley

Got my account back! It was hacked. Sorry about it :|

Great coin... can't mine it, I'm looking forward to seeing it dumped.

LOL. Trying to down ramp so you can buy cheaper DRK? Personally I think it is cheap at the current price. People will make up their own minds based on the potential applications. I see Dark rivalling Litecoin for #2 currency.
