Yep, except in the case of 1), you shouldn't perform any sends. The person receiving isn't really getting anything recognized by the network.

Hi to all , I m relativly new to mining so if somebody could guide me or show me exactly how to open an darkcoin account would be thankfull. I have mining rig(s) and normally using only basic script coins to mine. Have downloaded new BAMT 1.6 with support for darkcoin, but i cannot figure out how to open DRK account so can connect rig to a pool. I downloaded from darkcoin.io a wallet latest version v0.9.0.0 , also cannot figure out what i have to do in order to get my DRK account. also i m not a linux expert but know how to connect over ssh please advice

Srry to say that, but I'm SO HAPPY to see your problem. I got the exact same problem, asking all over the internet in various language and seems to be the only one until now. I have 3 290 that do exactly the same: start at 2500 then get back to 2100 (all in the exact same second) after 10 minutes. I'm under Bamt, and it only do that with the 290 AND darkcoin. No problem in Scrypt, no problem in Darkcoin with my other kind of cards. If you (or others) found a workaround, do not hesitate to share. I'll be glad to offer a few Darkcoins to someone able to fix this.
The quote train was getting a little long there lol. I'm sure we're not alone. I'm using windows 7 . . so clearly it's not our platforms. This leaves something specific to 290's or the miner/kernel. Anyone have a clue? Which 290 series are you running? I have 5 Sapphire 290 Tri-x OC that I can normally get 2.4-2.5mh/s but right now I can only run 4 cards. I have them running great at 2.345+/- or 9.290mh/s combined on all 4. I'm having issues with my mobo and had to RMA ram. My rejects are .01% on 2 cards and 0% on the other 2. Already darkcoin forks popping up, if darkcoin wants to be a success there has to be more innovation ^^.
That comment was a joke...right?!? Just checking...if you're being serious...

That comment was a joke...right?!? Just checking...if you're being serious... I don't see forks... what do you mean? New coins using x11 algo. There was one posted in this thread earlier today. It's awesome to see forks popping up . . with imitation being the most sincere form of flattery and all. It's healthy to compete, and even better to know that Dark is miles ahead right now and only picking up speed . . provided all the exchanges managed to change the wallets in time for the hard fork.

Wish I had more funds deposited to get done cheap DRK!
You are NOT alone! Unfortunately, I have no money even if I wanted to wait another week for funds to clear The old saying goes, you gotta have money to make money This bot/trader has the whole orderbook filled with this junk. Bigvern should put some rules in for this type of thing. If you know who to contact, you should ask them if they'd be willing to do something about it. It hurts them the same, since it keeps prices down , therefor keeps fees down! Plus, it's nasty cheating, even if it's used on the gullible when you stuff the orderbook with lots of these little orders others can't see what orders are being placed and you can't judge buying demand.
Can't you just scroll down the buy order queue - what's to stop anyone from doing that? Look, I don't consider myself the stupidest person in the world, and on some things, I'm quite bright. But finances have never been my thing, and it took me a LONG time to figure out what I was seeing on these exchanges. Especially with shares broken down so small: 0.001234 etc... it confused me. Luckily I wasn't frightened into selling, as I wasn't looking to sell, but I can totally see people falling for that, and there are enough newbs each day to feed the bots what do u think about this coin? Hey, a clone of us! You know, I think they do a disservice to themselves. Who are they going to trade with? Themselves? LOL whatever... You put up a collateral transaction that only the current master node can cash to get into the pool. If you misbehave in any way, the master node will cash it. Each time that costs 0.1DRK, so it could add up pretty quick if you're attacking it.
Masternode's are chosen randomly using a deterministic algorithm that can't be tampered with. This has a nice side effect, people will want to run full nodes to get the random fees. So we should have a pretty strong base of nodes.
How does one run full nodes? Where do nodes come from? LOL, I don't understand!!! I own some DRK but I am interested in mining it also, do any miners have experience with this over other scrypt coins? How are the temperatures?
very cool, the fans don't even go on high! It'll be healthy for your equipment Enzwell, I love your art! Hi Evan, we should include a link on the website for the DarkCoin reddit...
Also...which is the better cpu miner right now...1.2c or the 1.3? tnx
+1 I'd also like my beta darksend back Brand awareness is a very important aspect in marketing ! I think it's a good idea to brand whatever is possible. What about Dark PoW?
Dark PoW: 11 rounds of scientific hashing functions (blake, bmw, groestl, jh, keccak, skein, luffa, cubehash, shavite, simd, echo)
Must already be named, 'cause that stacy coin called it Dark-something?? Already darkcoin forks popping up, if darkcoin wants to be a success there has to be more innovation ^^.
That's funny, DarkCoin is nothing BUT innovation!

Sorry to repost, but I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me out. some things to check: * did you check you deleted all the old files before updating to a new wallet? You should delete all the old files, except the file named wallet.dat which contains your existing transactions. there is a post here a couple of pages back (not sure how many) that will walk you through the update and deleting process. Your wallet should say this version: * Have you contacted crypts / support ticket? * do you have a transaction ID? * is your wallet in sync with the network now?

Either they arrived or they would reject back to you. I think the major issue is for miners so no worries!

I've read a lot of comments that they take forever, and if you did something stupid like I did (forgot my password and had to reset it) they will hold the transaction 24 hours before they send it.

wow nice feature... I can not check all coins for hard forks twice a day, so if you really ever plan to hard fork again and dont want to see this fail please give pool operators a fair chance to notice prior hard fork appears. thanks. please confirm my daemon is on the correct chain: a@q:~/darkcoin-0.9/src$ ./darkcoind getblockcount 34146 a@q:~/darkcoin-0.9/src$ ./darkcoind getblockhash 34146 00000000005670c28cbd15569061464b9ade0dcd52aac046dd90d62675f782a0 I have to agree with this guy. If there are pools signed up with us, the developers or someone in charge should have an email or pm list where they can send it out once and inform them all. This is kind of basic. In fact, maybe it should be an email list anyone interested in darkcoin can join, including nobodies like me. I can't see myself being as glued to this thread as I have been forever. My interests always wonder and I get interested in something about once ever year to two years, LOL, but keep my toes in all of my past interests and sometimes come back around to them. So I'd love to be on a list that alerts me as well as others I'm sure! coin has already many innovations and more upgrades are coming every other day...
what coin needs now is actual things to buy with and more public to know about it...
for now all we can do is buy bitcoin and guns...we need more people accepting at their stores darkcoin...more people to sell stuff here on the forums for darkcoins...etc
Well, I do want a lady smith with roses carved on it...... Yes, this will take the longest and will be the hardest achievement of the coin. Will try with the newer (v0.9.0.1) git, hopefully this time it is ok for my p2pool... I hate to say that but this was really not a smooth hard fork. :/
I know, he goofed up and miscalculated the speed. Thought he was giving until tomorrow night. But we love Evan so we'll forgive him, hope you can too Well like I've said before, this is my full time job. After DarkSend is done and opensourced, we'll move on to whatever the community wants. I just want to make a coin to take the 2nd spot, I think we can do it. There's not many coins with a full time dev onboard.
I KNOW you can do it! And I'm ready to adopt you , I'm so proud, LOL

Unfortunately it looks like we have lost about ~ 1.2 GH/s of network hash due to the hard fork,no doubt catching a lot of folks off guard. Around 200 MH/s lost from p2pool as it stands at the moment. I hope they come back soon and are not too unhappy Everyone's exchange accounts looking ok?
