redownload wallet delet blockchain and chainstate .. remember to KEEP your wallet.dat then start the new darkcoin-qt

Why do you have to delete the blockchain and chainstate?  I mean, unless they're corrupted, they should be fine, no?
if your stuck on the last block you may end up with a wrong chainstate, so its better to remove them and resync

Hi,

I was wondering if someone could decipher/confirm this for me.  I made a withdrawal from Cryptsy prior to the hard fork, but the transaction remains unconfirmed.  My wallet has been updated to 0.9, but I'm now 3 hours behind synching with the network.

http://explorer.darkcoin.io/address/mzTS1swAJ3BNwxEz5oiU8Z44iGtN3asDRQ

Thanks.

I've read a lot of comments that they take forever, and if you did something stupid like I did (forgot my password and had to reset it) they will hold the transaction 24 hours before they send it.

Thanks for your response.  I have the transaction ID from Cryptsy to confirm it has been processed.  Should it still take 24 hours after that?  MintPal was quite quick...

Someone above, I just read, also remembered that you have to confirm an email, did you do that?

Yes, I did confirm an email.  I have the unconfirmed amount of DRK in my wallet.  But, because my wallet is not synching past block 34110, it has not been verified.  Did I mess something up?

I am also stuck at 34110 with new wallet.

redownload wallet delet blockchain and chainstate .. remember to KEEP your wallet.dat then start the new darkcoin-qt

Did that - twice - no luck. Any other ideas? Thanks

This will be my third time trying. Sad

Seems to have synced properly after re-downloading the new darkcoin-qt file and deleting all files but the wallet.dat.  Maybe something was wrong with the file I downloaded earlier?
Thanks for everyone's help.

Srry to say that, but I'm SO HAPPY to see your problem.
I got the exact same problem, asking all over the internet in various language and seems to be the only one until now.
I have 3 290 that do exactly the same: start at 2500 then get back to 2100 (all in the exact same second) after 10 minutes. I'm under Bamt, and it only do that with the 290 AND darkcoin. No problem in Scrypt, no problem in Darkcoin with my other kind of cards.
If you (or others) found a workaround, do not hesitate to share. I'll be glad to offer a few Darkcoins to someone able to fix this.

The quote train was getting a little long there lol.

I'm sure we're not alone. I'm using windows 7 . . so clearly it's not our platforms. This leaves something specific to 290's or the miner/kernel.

Anyone have a clue?

Which 290 series are you running?  I have 5 Sapphire 290 Tri-x OC that I can normally get 2.4-2.5mh/s but right now I can only run 4 cards.  I have them running great at 2.345+/- or 9.290mh/s combined on all 4.  I'm having issues with my mobo and had to RMA ram.  My rejects are .01% on 2 cards and 0% on the other 2.  WU 0.033-0.0334/m per card.

I'm using the Sph-SGminer in Win 8.1 Enterprise

2.345+/- Settings

2.4-2.5mh/s Settings

Im at 2100 kh/s with this setting. For 20 watt more
It can come from drivers and other apps.

What did you use ?

So apparently it was one of the settings I was using in sgminer.

Here's my old config (had been a long time since I've changed anything besides xintensity):

"xintensity" : "555",
"kernel" : "darkcoin",
"worksize" : "256",
"lookup-gap" : "2",
"thread-concurrency" : "32765",
"shaders" : "0",
"gpu-engine" : "947",
"gpu-fan" : "60",
"gpu-memclock" : "1250",
"gpu-powertune" : "20",
"gpu-vddc" : "0.000",
"no-submit-stale" : true,
"temp-cutoff" : "99",
"temp-overheat" : "95",
"temp-target" : "85",
"api-listen" : false,
"api-mcast-port" : "4028",
"api-port" : "4028",
"expiry" : "120",
"failover-only" : true,
"gpu-threads" : "1",
"log" : "5",
"queue" : "2",
"scan-time" : "60",
"temp-hysteresis" : "3",
"failover-switch-delay" : "60",
"no-pool-disable" : true,
"kernel-path" : "/usr/local/bin"
}

and new config, thanks to Kuriso:

"xintensity" : "555",
"kernel" : "darkcoin",
"worksize" : "512",
"lookup-gap" : "2",
"thread-concurrency" : "32765",
"gpu-engine" : "947",
"gpu-fan" : "60",
"gpu-memclock" : "1250",
"gpu-powertune" : "0",
"no-submit-stale" : true,
"temp-cutoff" : "99",
"temp-overheat" : "95",
"temp-target" : "85",
"expiry" : "1",
"failover-only" : true,
"gpu-threads" : "1",
"log" : "5",
"queue" : "0",
"scan-time" : "1",
"kernel-path" : "/usr/local/bin"
}

It's been running for half an hour now and nothing has dropped, and they're holding at 2266-2375 depending on the card. Thanks for posting your config . . it was clearly my miner settings. Don't know which one though that's why I posted my old config.

Has anyone seen any particular TC to be better than others with this coin? I'm not looking for a specific number . . just that there is one. Any playing around I've done gave me pretty much the same hashes.

Depending on your shaders...

I can get a solid 2.45-2.46 per card or combined 9.696mh/s avg. with 4 Sapphire 290 tri-x oc.  Changed the TC, engine, memclock, and intensity.

"gpu-threads" : "1",
"gpu-engine" : "950:1000",
"gpu-memclock" : "1250:1300",
"gpu-powertune" : "0",

"intensity" : "21",
"thread-concurrency" : "20481",
"worksize" : "256",
"lookup-gap" : "2",

"temp-overheat" : "78",
"temp-cutoff" : "80",

Cards run at 60-63c, 0% rejects, and combine WU of .139-.145/m

Thanks for the help! Yes, I've had the server running for a while. I rebuilt from source anyway, and nothing has worked. I have no idea what's happened here...

I had to delete the entire P2Pool data directory. Something must have been corrupt/incompatible. Annoying that all my historical data is gone, but nothing I can do now.

Does anybody know which specific file it's likely to have been, so I can avoid removing it all next time?

This is looking like a sweet spot  Wink Do you want to do a summary? the thread is getting a little long, and this is really useful stuff.

I dumped some of your previous settings into my 3x R9 290 Tri-x cards (phm sgminer 4-1-0) and get this:

Will give these updated settings a go tomorrow.
