Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

How are you building the daemon for 32 bit?

I dont use 32bit systems at all, however ,why should it be any different than described in the docs : https://github.com/evan82/darkcoin/blob/master/doc/build-unix.md

To whom run P2POOL

Update to https://github.com/chaeplin/p2pool-drk

network IDENTIFIER, PREFIX changed.

before p2pool change, please update your wallet.

mine.nu changed.

I saw a lot of orphan block spam from old chain.

Hey there - that update has completely broken my P2Pool server. It's giving me "p2pool.p2p.PeerMisbehavingError: share PoW invalid" and completely hanging. Desperate to get this back, so anybody able to help? I'm running Debian Stable.

delete p2pool-drk/data/darkcoin/share*

thanks,

Thank you chaeplin. I removed the whole data directory, so I've lost all my historical data but no huge problem other than that. Thanks for confirming exactly what I need to do next time!

It can be a good thing to open different topic, for mining hardware and setting.
And put result in main forum when done.

Help miner is not a bad thing i think.

1 topic with a list of all topic by modele, brand and bios version.

There is a link on the first page under 'Other Tools'.

There have been a few P2Pool nodes knocked offline by this for varying amounts of time, so I guess it'll go back up when they're all a-ok. When the fork happened the network hash rate dropped to ~4GH/s, maybe less.

Nice. I like knowing who the developer is (ironic for an anonymous coin) unlike Peercoin and Bitcoin. It's like knowing who's running that startup you invested in as a VC.

What a hit and run Hard Fork?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am running a pool, and I got several orphan blocks now.

It is just a terror to all pools.
Why didn't the dev team tell to pools. Just submitted source code some hours ago and it hard forked!!!!!

And how about the exchange sites?
Do you think they update your wallet within some hours?Huh
Many exchange site will get loss by old block chain on this weekend.

And then, what exchange site will like dark coin?
They will remove this coin ever!!!!

Hard fork at friday night?HuhHuhHuh
What are you doing?HuhHuhHuhHuh?
What is your intention?HuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuh

It is just terror to all!

Yah, around 300 MH still missing, most of it is from private p2pools.

On the good news side, first block after the fork just found in p2p 34338
