Oh yea, last chance. Screw this time = huge dump.
Won't happen. The spork means that they'll know if there are issues before enforcement is turned on. I'll believe it once I see it.

The pumps and dumps are becoming more Eiffel Tower-like. The cycles are quickening across all the alts. Get a Reuters article --> to the moon --> take profits --> to the floor. Despite that, people still like to buy in *while on the moon* for maximum coin-loss. (That's what gives the 'Eiffel Tower" effect).

They shouldn't be making such promises in the first place. It is still one of the strongest coins, moon is nowhere near those prices.

I find it hard to believe http://drkpool.darkcoin.io/ was hacked. I'm sorry but that shit just doesn't make much sense to me. I was locked out of my account for the last few months I log in now with a zero balance. No transaction history.. lulz Any word on a GPU miner?
As you can see I've been apart of this community from the start. Just seems a bit fishy to me. What could possibly be fishy about it? All the money was returned. You still have a few weeks to claim it. Thing is how am i even supposed to know how much was in my account? there's no history of transactions in my account All the balance data has been saved. Where? Credit Bonus Debit AP Debit MP Donation TXFee Last Hour 0.00000000 0.00000000 0.00000000 0.00000000 0.00000000 0.00000000 Last Day 0.00000000 0.00000000 0.00000000 0.00000000 0.00000000 0.00000000 Last Week 0.00000000 0.00000000 0.00000000 0.00000000 0.00000000 0.00000000 Last Month 0.00000000 0.00000000 0.00000000 0.00000000 0.00000000 0.00000000 Last Year 0.00000000 0.00000000 0.00000000 0.00000000 0.00000000 0.00000000 Evan has it. Either he will deal with it, or he'll find someone else to do it. Gotcha. I'll look into that. What was the reason for removing it? Sorry if i don't have the time to sort through 2000+ pages The official pool had moved to a different server & domain at some point. I think it's the main reason why old balances don't show. I logged into the new server ok, and my account was still showing with some dust in there.

+101 Very elegant. Master node passes denominated coins to one or more master nodes in series. Thats Kick-ass. Masternode passes denominated coins back to client on random addresses, client passes them from random addresses to a 2nd Masternode. Here's what we are assuming for RC4 (yes, assuming!):
Darksend limit lifted Darksend based on new crypto, extremely powerful anonymity (along the lines of ring sigs, but without the bloat) MN payments enforced "Spork" technology successfully implemented (enforcement = "on"); enforcement code perfected and streamlined MN voting is deterministic I2P integration completed or in the works IP obfuscation
Based on the above features, we would be looking at a paradigm shift, and I think that the market would react accordingly. Now we don't know how many of those things will be in RC4, but we know from eltito that there's some damn amazing stuff in the works.
P.S. Peercoin as one of the most innovative cryptos ever? How's that? Yes, Proof of Stake was interesting, but what does PPC actually DO that nobody else did at the time? At it's heart it's still the same-old-same-old, albeit with a different staking/securing mechanism. Anonymity coins, on the other hand, are a *radical* departure from the normal paradigm.
+101 I think we should send out a challenge to other anonymity projects to get code verified by independent auditors. The auditors would not say which project is better or take sides, just verify the code does what is says on the packaging. I'm not sure why people are sitting around waiting for Evan to finish coding RC4. * Get bounty going for independent code audit. If we have nothing to fear, those that don't follow suit and don't have a real project yet take away investors, then they have something to fear. FUD and trolls go away, price goes up. Coins101* Spork technology - that prevents ASICs as it means you can hard fork with fewer risks at any point you want, just with 3-6 months notice to the entire network. ASICs proof, if you want it. Get the word out. Price goes up. * IP Obfuscation - mixing rendering block chain useless, plus protection from being able to track transactions through IP sniffing. Bitcoin / Litecoin can't compete with that. Get the word out. Price goes up. * Bitcoin code compatibility - Having something similar to bitcoin means Darkcoin can go where bitcoin can go. Privacy groups complain about lack of privacy from bitcoin, darkcoin is one of only a few that can step in to existing bitcoin / litecoin merchant tools. Get the word out to the right places. Price goes up. * Master Nodes - increase in nodes, reduced coin supply, new services go into master nodes giving them more money, increase in master nodes. Get the word out, work on identifying new services, do some market research on them, invite others to work on them. Price goes up. * Master Node pools Get the word out to invite people to set-up master node pools for those that can't afford a master node on their own. Price goes up. * Privacy becomes a big issue for mass adoption and use in retail sectors that need privacy, credible options for mainstream use are recognised as limited, darkcoin picked to provide alternative option to run next to bitcoin, ETFs buy darkcoin. Raise the issues with affected markets already using bitcoin and would be impacted by its poor anonymity. Price goes up. Coins101* B2B Adoption - businesses realise they can use Darkcoin to transact internationally without incurring high costs of fiat and with privacy to keep trades confidential. Price goes up. What we need are coordinated activities to push darkcoin forward while technical work goes on. Technical work and innnovation will always be required. What do we do, watch the price go up and down between technical releases? Get real. There is a lot of value here, its just not being applied in the right way. I lost the thread there, but you get the bigger picture

I had Yidakee/GhostPlayer assist me in setting up my first Masternode the other day. He was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and walked me through the entire process via skype. He answered every question I had along the way. He never had access to my funds so there was no worry of theft. I honestly paid him more than he asked because I felt the learning experience itself was worth far more than what he was asking. If you have not set one of these up yet and are lost in terms of how to do it. I HIGHLY suggest you use Yidakee's/Ghost Player's services!!! https://darkcointalk.org/threads/yidakees-helpdesk-masternode-setup-services-ghostplayer-on-bitcointalk.1633/#post-11402Thank you Yidakee!

Let me start by saying this sounds delusional. More specifically, I have a touch of Stockholm syndrome. But stick with me for a second.
I can't quite get over the issue that Darkcoin could be better than Bitcoin and its only a matter of time before the privacy issue becomes an issue (in the real world) for Bitcoin.

Hi long time lurker first time poster! I am new to the Darkcoin community via BTC. I have acquired the 1000 DRK required to set up a masternode and would wish to do so. Not very computer savvy so any help would be appreciated. I am happy to be a part of this coin which I believe is on the right track to greatness!

+1. Bitcoin is great. Like as the great invention of the wheel. It bring us the Block chain technology. But now, many critical problem occurs in its experiment. Privacy problem, Node and light wallet problem, Actual application problem, etc. But in my opinion, the major problem in Bitcoin is the huge success. There are still so many place need to fix or update and innovate. Now, can anyone in the Dev team responsible for update fails? No mention the major investors in Bitcoin. I've invested in Bitcoin since early 2013. That was a wonderful time. But now, 1/3 of my investment is in DRK, and it accumulates. The innovation is a key to investment. And the Bitcoin has lost his innovation. Just like a train, it is still going forward, but the locomotive, that drive forward this train, has not/can't doing any work.

According to chaeplin's site, my MN lost 14 payments because of these pools won't pay me. It's a ****ing fortune IMO

Those Ltc boys seem a tad upset with the falling Ltc value. But seriously, Ltc has no real tech advantage over Btc. Time to abandon ship. Anonymity is going to be important in the future.
