Ok I've made the change but now when I run GPU Coin Miner the black cmd box does not appear, wtf. I've talk with ltc1btc.com's service. I suggest them add an option for withdrawing DRK at least. But this door is closed. So forget about that site. Make our own DRK multipool stronger.

At this point my brain is so shaken up from trying to figure out how to mine crypto, each coin having unique requirements and me failing hard, I should just give up.

Your average person will never get into crypto when everything is so discombobulated. This isn't a dis on dark, this is a dis on all cryptocurrencies.

I have (had?) an IQ of 85, but maybe now 55, as cryptocurrency has killed me brain.

I noticed this too when I first got into cryptos (not long ago). It's total elite. They don't even want most people to be able to figure it out at first, so they can mine all the coins. But then later they want everybody to use their shit. It's actually pretty lame.
And yes, you're right. Most people won't want to go through all this crap for some weird geek-money.
I think it's huge problem with the (industry?).

But don't worry, once the government collapses and the grid fails, all this digital play-money will vanish into virtual thin air and we can laugh at them.

I think that might work, but I'm not an expert. If it doesn't, try removing the  "--balance" part, I don't know what that does.
There's also a miner out there that uses "-k x11mod" that is faster. (Shhh! Don't tell anybody! We don't want them to know they are getting screwed! )
