Well then, someone really didn't want those 8787 DRK anymore...

Same thing happened at the same time yesterday. Real conserted effort going on here. One or two people panicking I get, but when these red candles show up periodically for weeks -- standing out as outliers given the market volume, even after RC4 improvements have been made clear... Yeah, something's up.

If it's the same person dumping repeatedly I hope they fucking die. Seriously I hope they are attempting to drive a dump truck full of their scamcash home when they get hit by a meteorite and are instantly vaporized. After which a gentle breeze blows the ashes into a nearby sewage drain.

Partly, its scrypt miners.

I've been back on my old LTC account at litecointalk.

ASICs are forcing miners to switch off. Some have turned to x11, x13 and x15 (if that exists yet). If they mine shitcoins, they lose money. DRK is one of the few that they make money on.

So there are x11 multipools that pay in DRK, we've seen those. Now we have GPU miners that can't mine scrypt, don't want to sell their GPUs because the market is saturated, and so they mine DRK.

Where are you seeing large trades?  I see very little volume at all, certainly no huge trades like that today???

Constantly amazes me. the last 2000 pages have been full of people trying to bring down darkcoin.

I still don't know why.

Missed the boat, jealousy, early miners dumped too cheap, other coins losing miners. Who knows.

$5trillion changes hands each day around the world, and Darkcoin is a threat to people?

Envy pure and simple. There are many people invested in various copy coins.

Think about that sentence. I did. And it made me feel all warm and fuzzy.

Mining supply of DRK is too small to affect daily price. If you have 2880 new coins per day, of which something like 2400-2500 go to the miners, and supposing multipools have, say, 50% of DRK hashrate, it's just 1200-1300 coins per day max for dumping - and that would have to be split in an uncoordinated manner because not all multipools would dump at the same time.

...

Darkcoin suffers from a bad methodology to achieve anonymity and it's put everything into this one basket.

Sorry to hear you lost faith in the project. Also, sorry you're going to be getting out at a horrible time (right before I announce I have EVERYTHING figured out to make Darkcoin mainstream?).

Over the past couple of days, I've made huge leaps in the Darksend technology. In fact, RC4 will be the final solution to Darkcoin's anonymity. The client will automatically look at all of your funds and it will be able to tell which funds are not anonymized, if it finds non-anonymous outputs it will run them through a darksend with other clients. After that process, users can send without Darksend using the anonymous outputs for instant transactions without waiting for other nodes (with no upper limit on transaction sizes).

The other thing you're missing is that there is a reason I forked Bitcoin. Adoption for Darkcoin will be MUCH faster and easier for vendors, because all of the APIs are the same.

Expect more news in a few days. I have lots of work to do, but soon we can start testing all of this new functionality.

Hold approx. $4335K on masternodes now.

This means %14 all the coins.

This is an excellent thing.

Note: If masternode number exceeded 2000 in the future, miners will go crazy. ASIC manufacturers will explode for x11.

Spork means we could push for two-stage hard fork to modified algo to prevent ASICs, if that is what people want in the future.

I didn't think of that... Every time I visit this thread for a daily catch up I get fired up...

Such innovation...

2000 DRK buy @ 0.011.

Yep. The volume bar is now at nearly 3k.

That's partly because we've won all the arguments on the coupling/de-coupling debate, market viability, masternode efficacy, regulatory obstacles, legacy support, and version management.

The fudsters are ::::OUT ! ::::::OF ! ::::::AMMO !

They've done us a huge favour because they've brought every challenge there was going here and had each one of them addressed robustly, authoritatively and comprehensively while actually demonstrating that fact to the world at the same time. They've been throwing fried eggs at a nuclear sub and they've slid off.

There's nothing left to do now but to continue as cleared with flightplan route. Flight level 330, squawk 4484.

What a brilliant attitude to have!  Yes the Fudsters did us a massive favour, they thought of all the potential chinks in our armour and if anything, they gave Evan + Team good food for thought on how to tackle potential issues.

Is this the first coin that welcomes Trolls and Fudsters?

Credits to vertoe, I've not been on call these last few days.

These are the major not-paying pools remaining:

- nicehash.com
- ghash.io
- x11.ltc1btc.com
- darkcoin.cryptocurrency.tw
- cryptotrain.net
- dark.v2.dedicatedpool.com

So please guys! Team work! Lets all pitch in with an email / webform / IRC / twitters / etc etc...  and please ASK them
to update! (note the green lettering, signifying calmness and happy thoughts)

IF YOU CARE ABOUT DARKCOIN... 20 minutes of your time can do a heck of a lot!

Isn't Eltito working on an official communication package for Pools to make the switch?  As a backup to all your fantastic work?
