I'm seriously sick and tired of researching coins on the forums and seeing nothing but useless fud and people arguing.  Re-quoting and arguing with other posters does absolutely nothing to help promote Dark.  All it does is discourage investors, having to scroll through pages and pages of worthless arguments to find anything useful.  When I jump on a forum and have to dig and dig to find what I'm looking for, I just end up walking away with a bad taste in my mouth about that particular coin.  It gives me an idea of the type of people invested in that coin.  Please, lets change the game here for Dark!  No more arguing with fuders and no more re-quoting ignorant people!  Also, investors want to see innovation and development.

Really... Dark coin means to "give a coin" in spanish ? ... If thats right Im going to give the Darkcoin foundation one of my yearly masternodes total revenue. (was going to anyway, but this is just like its meant to be)

The newly announced world Darkcoin foundation for children is not directly affiliated with Evan or the development team as it exists today. We are however great supporters of Evan and the development team and we hold them and the Darkcoin project deep within our hearts. They are the pillars who are making all this possible and it is important to recognize them as such. Thank you.

I have had brief communication with Evan regarding the charity and he suggested the official Darkcoin foundation would probably be involved in charity work as well. I would like to congratulate Evan on this, namaste.

Evan also expressed concern with regards to potential conflict of objectives between the official foundation and the one I decided to create and have been working on. He suggested the children's charity might be able to operate within the framework of the official Darkcoin foundation and I told him that would be fantastic. However, as of today I haven't had any other information from him or any other members of the Darkcoin team with regards to any integration of design or operation and have not received any direct communication from Eltito or Chris Rimoldi (except if you have been talking to me using other names  ) I have been talking to other members of the community who have supported my contribution of what was 13 000$ at the time of the first announcement for the charity. Some have offered different kinds of technical help, marketing help and wonderfully coins! We now already have 1400 pledged coins for the first year to develop the charities own independent nodes and someone is talking about donating the profits from one of his nodes which amounts to another 1000 coins!. (1000 of the one's already pledged are mine so those are official no matter what... even if they are not Darkcoin official for now  :0 )  

To avoid confusion between the official foundation and the children's charity and out of respect towards Evan and the DRK team's right to the Darkcoin Foundation name, at my suggestion we will be adopting a different name than the one initially proposed. With the objective of giving grace of Darkcoin to all the newborns of the world and as an organization focused on natural law and harmony, we will be adopting a name that promotes the values we represent and seek to preserve, values such as integrity, honesty, compassion, mindfulness, trust and all the other beautiful words that represent these states brought about in the wonder of our hearts. This is the future and its important that it be done for all the people of the world.

Should the official Darkcoin foundation created by the technical team decide to want to join us in our journey of bringing Darkcoin to the whole world, leaving no one behind this time, well then it will be a pleasure and a great honour to work with them on this noble quest. We will succeed.

 I can't wait until people can login online and go see how many nodes are running for the kids. This is a world cure for poverty as well as a fair and compassionate distribution effort. All help will be welcome from everyone, please ask and I'm sure you will fit right in the structure of the organization! There will be many things to do, imagine distribution, wow! good thing we have the internet And isn't that partly what this is all about, the internet of things? Darkcoin is based on PoW as well as PoS. In fact the first coin, IMHO, to do it right, for the first time in the entire crypto world.

 Masternodes are up with 1k deposits, to make them active. This "retires" DRK's out of circulation, though at any second, a Masternode owner can cash out, entirely at will, unlike other PoS concepts.

 But, the point is to have them up and running, the more the better. It guarantees the Darksend technology, and future development features, like running blockchains for light-weight wallets, and lots of interesting derivatives there from, for real life use issues, like merchants, as one obvious and immediate example. But more is on the way.

 Speculation appart, the Masternodes are payed 20% of all mined DRK's right now. 576 DRK per day divided by all active MN's, to be exact. This creates a positive feedback loop of price increase out of an incentive based service!! A brilliant one!!

First side effect is miners get less pay. So there is no incentive in updating to the latest Darkcoin protocol. Right now, with the "spork" solution  Evan devised, a soft fork is set right now, essentially "inviting" people to update, before the real fork. Many, supposedly, professional mining operations have not complied. 20% of global earnings is a significant amount.

80%+ of the network is updated. This is a tremedous POP, ergo, proof-of-professionalism. As of now, I blatantly shout greed, to the rest.

 The more the Masternodes are payed, the more incentive there is to have them up, depositing 1000 DRKS, creating scarcity, increasing price dramatically. Around 18% of the entire DRK coin is already locked in MN's. That is something like 4,5 Millions dollars right now, at these ridiculously low prices.
