Shojayxt... not sure why you are here... and i think as a community we've done a horrible job of feeding into you and many others anf their negativity.  For me this stops now.  As a community its time end bad karma/vibe thing.
i always appreciate creative criticism and intelligent dialogue.  Neither of which you do.  Its obvious your mandate is to irritate and spread negative vibes.
If you have children and a family ... shame on you for being a horrible example of how to be decent human being.

What the FUCK is going on here. Testnet demominates me 14000 tDRK with 4 rounds, Mainet made me 90 with 4 rounds within 4hours.
Everything is fine and these BULLSHIT FUCKERS don´t stop spamming FULL TIME all the day they are not SLEEPING.

WHY DO YOU NOT DO SOMETHING WORTHFULL WITH YOUR TIME THAN SPAMMING ALL tHE DAY AROUND

I wish they would do something worthwhile......

This is the view of from my holiday house....but instead I spend some of my time dealing with FUD from those who don't see that alt-coins are R&D for Bitcoin which has to move like a tanker now it is so big and can't change course so easily.

R&D alt-coins that are aligned with Bitcoin can have their own value, or Bitcoin can one day try to integrate any of the features the market has deemed valuable.

It also means those types of transactions that Bitcoin would rather not be conducted through Bitcoin, well they can be conducted elsewhere to help Bitcoin with its image problems.

Trolling here is shooting Bitcoin in the foot.  Some people are just too stupid to understand the bigger picture of these things....

nice view but i had to copy and paste because it's not showing up on btctalk.

the thing is that darkcoin is not really r&d for bitcoin as far as anon and masternodes go. darkcoin maybe r&d for darkwallet to copy but that does not solve their centralization issue and other issues. that's why dark should stay closed source for many months while reassuring investors with several code reviews from people like kristov, andreas antonopoulos and maybe greg maxwell etc.

bitcoin can't do anon and masternodes without a hard fork and they won't do that. so darkcoin is a real threat to bitcoin holders long term and they know it. we have several bitcoin trolls here who hate alts and just use them as p&d's.

I don't think it's a threat to bitcoin at all the two have different purposes.

You have to get into bitcoin to get into dark so it isn't even like it canabalising investment.

I think alt haters like to scapegoat alts, especially the ones with potential when the bitcoins price drops. When they should, well we all should be fighting the nyc regulations instead.

I think the point is its r&d for the ecosystem.   what coins101 is sayong i believe... is we are all in this together
... the outside world looks at crypto coin world as one whole dystem and not the way we see it from withen the fish.  Joe public sees us as one tied system, btc, drk, xmr what and we've all been to stupid to realize... when we fud or troll any coin... we are fudding/trolling ourselves... and shooting ourselves in the foot.  If we are getting fed up with bullshit between the different coins.. imagine what Joe Public thinks?  hes got nothing invested and just thinks this whole  system  is fucked.

Every single comment anyone makes thats negative and hurtfull... is a black mark on ALL cryptos.

Another reason for lack of buy support: recent ICOs sucking investors' BTC out of the Altcoin ecosystem. Rootcoin 100+ BTC, viacoin 600+ BTC, syscoin 1500 BTC, ethereum great gobs of BTC. This represents a great transfer of wealth from thousands of average investors into the pockets of a few devs who are not going to invest in other altcoins! If anything it only suppresses the price of bitcoin as the devs cash out.

And it keeps this investment BTC out of the altcoin supply chain => less demand for and even more supply of all other altcoins.

Wtf is with ICOs (initial coin offerings) anyways? All they are is a bitcoin premine and guarantee windfall for the devs. Scams or not, do these devs no longer have enough faith in their own product to take a vested interest in it?

Maybe today's failure of the syscoin ICO - already trading below initial buy in levels - will put a lid on this crap. I just hope folks can get enough of their BTC out of that garbage to go buy an honest coin like DRK.

Eventually we will see a flight to quality names like drk as people wake up and get sick of being robbed and scammed.

I personally think going closed is what is killing drk. The experts like AA are avoiding it and the whales did not react to RC4. Also markets will not form around closed source tech. There was a window to gain the support of the privacy community. Drk was leading that race.

Non-technical coin. Use OZC to intro coins to everyday aussies: http://ozziecoin.com

I don't think DRK is necessarily (or intended to be) a threat to BTC, but that's the way a lot of BTC supporters see it, which is flattering I suppose.

You haven't had to go through BTC to buy DRK since Bitfinex.

And there's little realistically to be done about the NYC thing - it's being used as a testbed for further regulation, by people who aren't interested in anyone else's opinion about the sanity of it. If they succeed and drive cryptocurrencies underground they are just going to achieve what prohibition always achieves - huge price increases for the commodity in question and big profits for those who have access to it. Let them regulate away.

Nothing is killing DRK.  Huh

It's a tiny and volatile market, currently filled with ADD lemmings, prices will fluctuate. Meanwhile clever people are getting on with building something amazing.

Anyone whining about the current price who isn't actively participating in some way to add value to the DRK ecosystem should really shut the fuck up, it isn't anyone else's job to give you a free lunch.

Bar duty calls.

Skimpy swimsuits, scantily dressed, seductively saucy, suntanned sirens are calling. I'm about to surrender to my Darkside.

wow wooow.   ok.  now  we're talking...  where the hell is this magical place.   i could use some of that company right now. help a brother out!   Wink

That's Estepona Port, in Malaga- Southern Spain.

I notice the only complaints about this coin are on how the release was handled, a few buggy problems, Evan and the team not communicating, a little bit of this and that...not consequential to what i have monetized as a 60M in Market Cap.

If things proceed as planned and your current buys will equate in to profit at 60M in market cap HOLD.
Investing is being able to see value before rank and file. Find a entry level to BUY.

If your shorting you will get hurt.
If your day trading, well that is what is creating the volatility ( i don't mind )
If your long your right.

i totally disagree. no reason to open source darkcoin for months, all people want is honest code reviews by respected crypto people. at some point yes but no rush imo.
fixed the last part for you too Grin

also, i love the name darkcoin. the media will love it, it will get them clicks and sell newspapers. and once they see a nice friendly clean cut guy like evan on cnbc explaining it's just about privacy they will get it.

Ozziecoin has a weird behavior since the RC4 release, wants the project to rush to open source etc.

If one could spend their darkcoin anywhere bitcoin is accepted, they would have no reason to touch bitcoin again. Is something like veribit for vericoin, but larger scale, within the realm of reality for darkcoin? I would pay a fee to use a service like that. Otherwise I lose anonymity when I sell my DRK for BTC on an exchange so I can shop at Gyft.

Business opp anyone?

I think all Darkcoin needs now is marketing, especially to those concerned about their continuing loss of privacy in the real world( by NSA etc)

From the looks of it, I'd have to agree it's anonymity is sound/almost perfect, ready to be used here and now.

NYC won't hurt DRK, they will only make it stronger. Cool
