I remember the good times when when 0.013 was considered as a absolute bottom price .

please, this is not about DarkCoin (only). This is a general falling market. Please follow: http://coinmarketcap.com It's all in red.

The fundamentals of Darkcoin are rock solid.

Exactly why I am buying more DRK every chance i get.

Thats one thing i was wondering about... people shutting down master nodes and selling their DRK. I would assume that people running master nodes are believers and in it for long term. I am thinking about setting up a master node soon actually.

Does anyone know where to look to find the total number of master nodes running??

http://drk.poolhash.org/masternode.html

I think we were hit 630 ish at one stage 24 hours ago?

Total Masternodes: 667 = 571 actives + 96 inactives

I really wish I could buy more right now.

At $1.66 they're basically giving them away.

Actually if you want to give them away send them here:

People are going to regret dumping their DRK. In 2 years when the believers are millionaires, they will be pissed that they sold out.

I hear a lot of stories about people selling BTC for $2-$20 "back in the day" now wanting to kill themselves...

EXACTLY. I refuse to be one of those horror stories. I know people that had thousands of BTC back in 2010 (worth a few cents each) and just lost the private keys or deleted the wallets because it was worthless. And i know people that panic sold when prices hit $10-20 like you said. Im holding long term.

Why isnt btsx falling? Nobody seems to have a answer on that.

because bitshares x is a great 2.0 coin with fair distribution.

anyone want to buy a BMW 325ci M Sport? 2003 model, about 60,000 miles, full BMW service history.

its a second car I use for weekends when its nice out. does about 3k - 4k miles a year.

its like this, but DRK blue with beige interior.

10k DRK.

I've seen your type before, you are just being ridiculous now, I know that you are panicking, so an advice would be: even hold and be patient if you are confident about your investment (which seems you aren't) or cut the shit off and close your position to not lose even more...

BTW I don't mind you selling your stuff for any coin, but open a separate thread for that on the proper section of the forum.

youre kidding right?

this thread is where the sellers are looking.

also, i remember buying BTC at $300 to invest in DRK. I sold some shit on eBay that was sitting around not earning me any returns. I did ok on that front. The difference is, then I was acting on a gut feeling that Evan would see through the project, so I sold some small stuff.

This time, we have something tangible and it works, even with bugs. The next stage of development is IP Obfuscation, plus a review from Kristolv.

I saw the broker recommendations in 2008 to sell everything you were prepared to sell to invest in stocks. I thought it was a bad idea. More fool me. I don't want to make a similar mistake again.

I got shit to sell that I don't mind losing. I got that investment property some time ago and the prices of property in London have doubled. If I sell it for DRK, I could make 100x the return. I wont get that return on London price rises for the next 200 years.

I missed BTC because I decided to take a year off in 2009/2010 and bum around. I would have done the same thing back then to buy BTC.

Ridiculous is being able to read my mind. Which you can't. So you are being ridiculous.

just sent the last bitcoin i'm willing to part with to mintpal.
imo this is a result of the 2 million coin linux instamine.

The whole market is going down... -7% btc, -20% LTC, -20% Peercoin, -60% cloak etc. Is this a result of the instamine which is DRK-specific? Of course not.

IMO, what is happening is this: A large number of hacked BTCs had found their way in alt-land (including the DRK pump and other pumps with the same buyer)... These were invested in a large number of coins, irrationally (meaning that the buys were very aggressive / pump-like)... as are the dumps, which are losing the owners money but still they don't care because these BTCs aren't really bought or worked for. They were stolen. Only one who has no concern of buying or exit price can behave like that pumping and crashing coins for the lulz.

For some reason, a lot of this money is going out. All the coins which have been influenced by this pumping & dumping will gain because the market behavior of the buyer (now seller) is irrational. He bought high / sold low as he pressured the price to new depths. This money from his losses ended up in ordinary investors pockets but he doesn't care because they are probably stolen money to begin with.

That's my theory at least.

Do you guys think that maybe a lot of BTCs invested into DRK were waiting for them to be anonymized and then sold?

Because if that is what is happening, people should be buying a lot at these low prices. This dump should then be counted as a compliment to DRK. In a way.. Smiley

I didn't think of hacked coins, good one...

So my top 3 reasons for this manipulation:

  • A very high net worth individual or organisation mitigating future currency risk
  • Banksters putting crypto in it's place after a working Anon solution
  • Hacked coins for the lulz

The new generation have arrived and they brought their own currency...
