I got in touch with NiceHash the other day, this is their response:

Hi,
We already explained to DRK authors that we don't even have an DRK Daemon. We are not mining DRK at all, we only provide hashing power, which is then forwarded to the end-users pools - so the end-user pools should be updated, we can't do anything about it.

Kind regards,
NiceHash.com

The new generation have arrived and they brought their own currency...

As I have repeated over and over again, they are a proxy so you can disregard them as complying. That leaves X11LTC which isn't going to. We're down to 62% from a high point of around 68%.

Darkcoin working on getting listed in Coin Market App??  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=792912

I support Magi the first anti-botnet mining network to give regular miners the fair chance of mining. Talk to #Magi on IRC: https://kiwiirc.com/client/irc.freenode.net/#magi or on BitcoinTalk: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=735170.0

What about: coin.market.app.com working on getting Darkcoin added to coin.market.app.com?

Didnt evan say that switch will be flipped if over 90% of pools are on rc5 or else 3 weeks after rc5 has been released? Do you guys mean he should speed up the 3 weeks thing? If so, isnt the 3 weeks thing part of the code? Or is it a physical action needed by evan?

Evan is, above all, a human name. The correct grammatical usage is Evan. Secondly, Evan is the author of Darkcoin, but it doesn't look like you care. If you are turkish or similar black spot -- no worries, it's in your genes.

Update: note the capital letter; that was the point of my post actually!

Whatever. It was obvious what he meant. No reason to write an inflammatory, petty post.

Cool. They added DRK  Cool

http://www.shapeshift.io/#

That's awesome. Appears to be about a 10% premium ATM.

Excellent. Pay any invoice with DRK (if you are willing to pay the premium). You can use DRK practically anywhere BTC is accepted!

What do we know about DRKLord's situation? Anything we can do to help?

Last I heard, he was having health issues but he hasn't even logged into his accounts since mid-August. Apparently, Evan couldn't even get a hold of him so it looks like we don't have much choice but to find another QT developer.

I talked with evan this morning about that QT/C++ issue,
there is a good plan in motion, he is on it and we will update regarding that soon .....>

Time to get that wallet (and everything else) on the road .....>

Edit: hope DRKLord is ok though !

I'm more concerned that the man is OK than the status of the project he was working on... Doesn't sound good though... :-(

Continuing my darkcoin community research...

...using the forum extraction tool I am developing...
...here is how the title of this [ANN] thread changed over time, starting from day 1: January 18, 2014 (When darkcoin wasn't even called darkcoin yet...  Grin) until today.

If this has any value for you, and if you like to see more, consider a donation to help me further develop my tools: XtAdMy5nSxArut6rKKLQXxm84rpJNipXib

What is the next thing you want to see?

1) Do you want to know who of all the darkcoin users swears the most (using words like f**k etc..) then vote by donating any amount to this address:
Xwz1utupG5LqWMsCeZqF3vo9xtiA7FXcjH

2) If you would like to see a word cloud of all the comments evan duffield ever made, vote by donating to this address:
Xn9b76yUZ5zGAcMvFv41ZSYn9XHMJpX833

(I will eventually fulfill both tasks if they reach 5 DRK each, otherwise just the one that has more DRK)

Have fun.
FUCKING BUMP
Looks brilliant, once it is finished pls put it on Darkcoin.io - few people realise the level of innovation DRK has brought over the last few months!
