WTS 40 Gridseed USB Units.   Ordered from Hashra and will arrive in next few days.   I have 2X Big Bit Package (20x USB Modules) so 40 units in total with controllers and 3x accessories package.
Hashra says Gridseed Infinity Mini runs both CPUMiner and CGMiner. They will be brand new not opened,  Willing to sell below market rate just really need the cash for unexpected costs that came my way Sad
Escrow ok.   PM me offers/questions

Edit:  Hashra says they have stable firmware with working dual mode and no resetting issues

When did you order from Hashra?

Still "awaiting fulfillment" on my 23 Feb order - trying to get a gauge... did they send updates and tracking #s?

Ordered in there presale late Jan.   I have my tracking number.   They said i could have a refund if it didn't ship by the 28th which was BS. Tracking wasent updated unitl today. I guess that's the name of the game in the mining hardware business.  I'm for abolishing all presale nonsense!

I see that the units also get the power via USB - noticed it while switching on the hub before switching on the PSU. Seems like the computer recognised the units - /dev/ttyUSB* came up. Does anyone know what's up with that? What is the correct way to switch them on - PSU then the HUB?

I'd say PSU then Hub...but then I don't have concrete evidence to that specifically only that it seems to "behave" better for me in that sequence.

FYI, miaviator has put together an excellent set of instructions to help all of us Gridseed owners over here:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=494625.0

Take a look and if it helps don't forget to donate to him. Smiley

The board itself seems to be powered through USB while the cores draw power from the power cord.   My Guide has power first then USB which i did for a good reason.  I don't remember the reason.  It was a long weekend of writing.

I also tried scrypt mining on low clock settings with no power connected.

It doesn't work....

He already said they are "working" on a 10Mh and 20Mh version.

Give it time....

First, he should release his "secret screenshot" software to be able to hash at 5Mhs with a LA3M.
Otherwise, I'm not sure he'll sell a lot more of these units.

And make the controller more stable? It's rebooting every 10~60 minutes.
Or is this a gridseed problem?

I disagree.  I think these will keep selling with everything as is for the near term 3 months.

Until a decent competitor like fibonacci or whatever scryptasic international is calling themselves, or any of the other 20 scrypt fpga/asic developers come out with real working hardware this is it.

And 100Watts for 300-350Khash is workable even at .008 B/Mh/Day

3.84BTC @ 3.25Mh/s = .008BTC/Mh/Day is .026BTC/day = 147 Days ROI

3.84BTC @ 3.25Mh/s = .015BTC/Mh/Day is 0.04875BTC/day = 78 Days ROI

Keep in mind normal household miners can fit a lot more of these based on power and heat than they can GPU's.  Plus the supporting hardware requirement is very low on these units.  I can see these sticking around for a while.

My controller works great in the garbage can Smiley no issues with it in there...

That is some poor customer service for how expensive these things are!

Yeah, why dont we wait for them to capitalize first THEN sell them way over priced so you can pray in 6 months you'll hit ROI like the bitcoin ASICs. ASIC ruin any sense of community when it comes to crypto-currency. Scrypt-N FTW
