Well if you hook it up to a computer or raspberry pi I'm sure you can, just the controller they supply doesn't support it.

Mine did include a USB hub.  I have yet to try it but I can't imagine why it wouldn't work.

I have one of the miners up and running.  From what I can tell scrypt works fine but sha256 doesn't work.  I'm assuming that is because of the older firmware.

Cpuminer doesn't yet work for sha mining.

Message me if you have any problems

What's the best way to hook up these miners for power if both power and ground are black? I dont have a multimeter on hand either.

Is the raspberry pi software uploaded anywhere, I have a few I was using with BFL hardware before I sold those.  Could wire it up to these to test sha mining.

Not sure if there will be a way.  You need some way to test if a circuit is made on the ground shield and one of the wires to figure out the ground.  If you are really desperate and have a video game pad you could rip it apart as the contacts under the buttons are usually just two metal plates.  Touch one of the wires to one side to the button and the outside (ground) of the power plug to the other side to see if it completes the circuit and presses the button.  But that's the only thing I can think of, otherwise I'd go out and pick up a multimeter.

I get those after making a configuration change and restarting, the logs stick around after the restart.

It is not released yet from my understanding they are still testing beta code.

Here is an update:
Received my LA3M today Smiley
Everything needed to run it was included (except instructions, and a 10 port hub)

I downloaded all the PDFs and Firmware updates from Jack's 1st post.
And, I could not get it to work.
I got a hold of Jack and it is a lot simpler than I thought.

1st do not use wiibox.
you simply goto the ip your router assigns the controller.

***Here are the steps to get it up FAST.***

1 Wire the controller and link all the cables. (I did just one first and then went back and did the other nine)
2 determine IP
3 goto IP in browser
4 add Scrypt Mining pool info: url, name, pwd
5 choose Scrypt Mining core MHz
6 check Scrypt Mining enable
7 add SHA256 Mining pool info: url, name, pwd (miner will not work without pool info added for BTC mining)
8 uncheck Sha 256 (make sure not enabled)
9 click "submit and restart"
10 refresh to see updated stats

I ran into one error:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /www/class/miner.class.php on line 414

But, that may have been due to the fact I was trying to run it without any BTC pool info.
I unplugged the control box and clicked "submit and restart" again and it went away, I have not seen it since

Please let me know any questions...
-j

Notes:
- Works on 240v and 120v
- My LTC Miner 1:8 took 9 mins to start hashing (has happened on multiple restarts trying to play with Core Frequency (MHz)
- No backup pool option yet but they are working on it
- No firmware upgraded needed now, but if u wanna upgrade firmware use the upgrade form on the page, there will be new bins soon
- Core Frequency (MHz) 750 - 850 seems to work best so far... will keep adjusting/playing with it.

Wire Controller:

Linking all the cables: (connecting everything)

DHL just got here Smiley

Now I need to figure out how to set this thing up.

 Grin
if you got problem, we have online support team.

Can you recommend a 10 port hub to buy for the LA3M and also a link to where is the online support team located please?

I received the DHL tracking number.

They received payment on Feb 12. Package shipped on Feb 19. I signed up for tracking updates. Good thing I did. The tracking update includes the full shipping address. Let's just say that they are not natural English/USA speakers and there were a lot of typos in the address (don't know why they can't cut and paste from the e-mail). I sent a message to DHL with the corrected address.

The address had typos in the street name, although close enough for the delivery guy. No State in the address field, but the zip code would take care of that.

Same here...paid on the 10th via PayPal. I was told she checked again and found my payment, and that it would ship "soon." I am not sure when "soon" is, though...but I haven't recieved a tracking number yet.

I am also kind of dismayed by the reports of people getting incorrect cables, needing multimeters to determine which wires to connect to + and - and needing to cut and strip the power cable for the power supply...as well as not receiving the USB hub that was advertised.

That doesn't instill confidence in those who want to order. If you cant even get copy paste an address what other things may be overlooked. I hope this is not the norm and they'll fix their mistakes
