The controller firmware can only be installed by jack he isn't making it available for people to use on their own.
In regards to a support thread I am working on one it is linked in my signature.

What the hell?!?! What if we need to upgrade it? Is it possible to update at home? its probably because there are competitors also making these miners with no firmware and Jack probably hired programmers to write the firmware... But this definitely does suck, what if the controllers break, and we need to buy a new Tp-Link?

You mentioned before that the units can be over clocked without the new firmware correct ? Can you post a guide how to over clock the units to get the 500 kh/s shown by jack using the new firmware ? My unit was shipped so should arrive shortly . Would like to get all my instructions in place

So i guess I won't be able to use the controller. Will play with cpuminer when it comes

Wondering how he had 10 of these showing that hashrate, unless he was running 10 different instances of cpuminer on a host PC? Can it be clocked that high using the controller?

So maybe others look like what's in that picture, but my cables are not labeled. For example the power cables that go to the units themselves do not have that nice red/white coloring: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/117000/scryptminer/PSU2.JPGAnyways if you are expecting to get one of these I would recommend having a voltmeter on hand because otherwise I would have been screwed. Now to get it mining and test the wattage. I have these same colored wires. I hooked mine up to match yours in the picture and no light comes on and nothing happens. I did this on 2 separate PSUs. Is there a magic 'on' button I can't seem to find or something?

If so, it would be trivial to get cgminer working in a screen session.

More voltage is required I'm sure for the these higher clock speeds. Hell some of them were showing 800. I don't mind adding more juice.

I have these same colored wires. I hooked mine up to match yours in the picture and no light comes on and nothing happens. I did this on 2 separate PSUs. Is there a magic 'on' button I can't seem to find or something? There is a 220v -> 110v black switch on the side of the unit. This got me too, no idea why they don't switch it for you before shipping to the states.

Here you go though it's pretty basic. No SD card, just a power, network and usb port. The controller is listening on SSH port but no one knows the user/pass. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/117000/scryptminer/controller.jpgIf you can't read it in the picture it says "Costumed by LIGHTNINGASIC" which I got a chuckle from.
