What are the current future plans for this coin, or is it dead in the water?

Plan ? One last pump and dump so the "hodlers" (aka clueless kids) can finally recover their money.

The coin has nothing to offer plain and simple. The development was stopped for 2 years and when the price went back to its real value after the pump and dump of July, they suddenly found people to work on it.

Wise people bought low and sold high not listening to the hodler's guru (Max from the youtube channel "high on coins" ) and others kept dreaming of a USD$100.00 CHC (even USD$1000.00 in some case).
Max managed to convince his followers to purchase more if they really wanted to make big money and of course, at some point, the community couldnt buy more and people (the wise ones) start to sell when the price peaked around USD$7.00.

Lots of people lost a lot of money in this, go read the comments in the videos following the p&d.

The coin has nothing to offer, there is nothing interesting in it, one advice, stay away from it.

PS: The "hodlers" will tell you Im a troll but anyone spreading the truth about this coin is called a troll Grin

You have been warned

Hey,

you are yet to realize that chaincoin core team/coin has nothing to do with Max and his group of pumper/holders/dumpers.
You do know that MOST coins have these kind of groups/whales who make profit off other people?

where did I say the "dev" team has anything to do with Max ?

In the part where people asked about the future of this coin, and said pump and dump for one more time Smiley

people asked about the "coin", you brought the hodler gang into it, altho that was not what was asked.

apples and oranges my dear friend Smiley

nope, not a single word about Max being related to the dev team. You probably are a trump supporter to be so stupid. Reply to me when you will be able to read properly.

Nope, im not from USA and could care less about USA politics. But the fact that you even made that kind of comment shows what kind of person you really are Cheesy

Dont twist my words btw, i said max and/or the hodler movement, you just highlighted one part of my statement.

You are getting lazy with ur posts, taking single part out and twisting them.... and you are making urself look even more simple than before. Keep it up Cheesy

you seem to be so far behind that you think you are leading Cheesy Cheesy

Really sucks that nx85 and Brakmic left, but they were freelance devs anyway, they just left abit sooner than we excpted.

The core devs are still there, and are informing us how they plan to move forward with chaincoin in the coming days.

A chaincoin live stream gonna happen soon by one of the CHC slack mods. We'll be discussing the next steps after the leave of nx and brak. Roli and the other devs are all still on board for developing chaincoin.  Grin Grin

And here is the proof that CHC is scamcoin!

Dear readers,

Today, I've decided to leave the Chaincoin Project.

After having waited long enough it became clear to me that in future still only a few members of the Core Team will be publicly known by their real names and faces. As you already know I have been visible to you from the very beginning. And I think that when someone does an important work for others the customers have a right to know who does the work and who is responsible if something goes wrong. I think I should not invest too much time in persuading you that developing software which aims to replace fiat money is something of utmost importance to its users and investors.

I've joined this project without forcing any of the older members to reveal their identities but I was clear from the very beginning that I am absolutely against keeping own identity cloaked. And I've communicated this very clearly in our internal discussions. I have also refused to become the public face on the Chaincoin website which was offered to me in July, because I would have only accepted this if the complete team would have shown their real names and faces.

It is no secret that I sometimes behave like a stone when it comes to certain principles that are near and dear to me. And user satisfaction and professional transparency are two of them. Of course I've never tried to force my philosophy on others but an ideal is useless if you are not ready to fight for it.

My personal fight was to help develop the best possible Cryptocurrency for our users and investors. I have thought that during the future progress and growing success of our software other members of the Team will understand why the Team should be visible as a whole. It would tremendously help raise the trust in our project and make it look more seriously. You can't expect other people to take you seriously if they don't even know your first name! You couldn't even go as a joke. And you should not wonder if they think you are scam.

However, no matter how successful we were nothing had changed. I've also stopped talking about it, because in the end it's everyone's personal freedom to show it's face on the internet or not. And if you add sloppy communication and sudden absences (for days) of some important members then one can easily anticipate that working under such conditions isn't the right way for people with my philosophy. It was too much of everything. Sometimes I didn't even know who does what because it seemed that all do something and in the end no one anything. You can't see any faces, only nicknames.

Please, don't get me wrong: I have complete understanding if someone wants to remain hidden. No discussion here. This is one of the fundamental freedoms and I have only to respect it.

However, working in a project like this, where money flows continuously and trust in developers is vital, demands certain sacrifices. And simply spoken: I don't want to be the only public face that helps in maintaining and raising trust in Chaincoin anymore.

Either we do this as a Team, because our users and investors deserve it, or I have to leave the Team, because they deserve at least to know the truth why I don't want to work on Chaincoin anymore.

And at the end, if you allow me, I'd like to clarify a few things regarding my former colleague Arz Bhatia a.k.a nx85:

I like him very much as a person and I truly respect his work. Check out his website for more details.
We both were the public faces of Chaincoin, in different segments (coding, marketing, website, product management etc.)
We had a close, open and very friendly communication.
We could say everything to each other, without having any reservations. Full trust, full honesty, no crybaby drama.
We had no unfriendly discussion before we have decided to leave Chaincoin.
We have left Chaincoin separately and without having planned it together.
From my perspective, we both were partially jaded because of several things in Chaincoin and the atmosphere too wasn't very helping.
But the things that have happened didn't happen, because we didn't like each other anymore.
Any gossip one can now find on various forums is unfounded. However, gossips serve certain purpose: they're emotional equivalents of restrooms for releasing some steam.
We were no freelance devs as some people have written in certain forums. We were simply Core Team members that had joined the Team based on personal motives.
Arz' duties were manifold and one of them was to coordinate the Team as product manager. He wasn't just a dev. This was my role. I was only a dev.
We did not leave Chaincoin a bit sooner than expected as you also can read in some forums. There were no plans to make us leave the team anytime soon. Quite the opposite. For example, I was already developing a prototype for a mobile wallet for Android. And Arz knew it from the very beginning. We had certain plans and discussed many upcoming features for core wallet, mobile wallet etc.
However, I've stopped any development of the mobile wallet, for obvious reasons. And Arz also released his work to the public in the Slack channel.

Personally, I couldn't care less what people not involved in Chaincoin might write about us in future, but because I'm already clarifying things I'll do this now. So everyone will have a chance to read the upcoming gossips with a grain of salt.

And again: this has nothing to do with hurt feelings, egos, or anything in this area. It's simply a culmination of things that could only be controlled for so much time. Sooner or later people will get enough of some things and will make decisions that could potentially make lots of people unhappy.

However, working in an open source project that affects the well-being of so many demands open faces and clear names. This is the way how I want to work for other people. This is the only way for me. I will never ever accept anything that violates this principle. I did it once, with Chaincoin, because I was too optimistic and have hoped that future success will persuade other people to join me in openness and accountability. I was wrong. And I am very sorry about this.

I wish you all the best.

Everything I have done I did it for you, dear users and investors.

Good bye!

Good bye!

How is this proof? There are still 9 other devs working on it. Brakmic was freelance...

OK - where are they? I can't see them in the Slack! I can't see them listed in the Website! In Github the only contributor is Brakmic who left! Where are they? Maybe waiting on the Moon Cheesy

And here is the proof that CHC is scamcoin!
Their main developer left and now he is telling us the truth - someone behind the scenes is using CHC community and devs like Brakmic to make Pump and Dump money from CHC!

Just read what Brakmic is saying!

I think I should not invest too much time in persuading you that developing software which aims to replace fiat money is something of utmost importance to its users and investors.

dont cry like a baby there is million other developers

Thats all you have to say after reading this ? You probably still own a lot of this shitcoin...
Pray for another pump and dump because thats the only way you can get your money back.

I am not crying! Just writing some facts. Look at the masternode count output from CHC wallet. People are realising that this coin is scam:

Last night:
masternode count
23:53:41
2578

Today:
masternode count
09:32:35
2538

they believe its a valuable coin because they still own a lot. They will do whatever they can to have another p&d.
Remember, believers dont need facts.

@mirbella there was a youtube live steam just yesterday where jcrags said he would be stepping in.

And amishpancake is right many of the devs any Anonymous for a reason. This isn't anything new to the crypto world lots of coins have devs who remain hidden or go by pseudo names.

In the very link you posted too: https://steemit.com/chaincoin/@brakmic/farewell

Rens responded saying he was a dev and would keep working on it along with the other devs. And brakmic makes it clear that he isn't saying Chain Coin is a scam. The post makes it very clear that there's a disagreement between him and the other Devs and he feels it's best to part ways.

I get Chain Coin like many other coins suffered the classic pump and dump. But that along with a drop in MN proves nothing. People get scared, take their MN offline and sell. A classic part of cryptos is how violative they are and how fast things move.

If you feel this is a scam you're entitled to your opinion. But at this point, I think all you're doing is trolling this topic and unwelcome here. So please move on somewhere else. The rest of the community will be happy to continue on without you.

Please do some research before posting false information. Brakmic did leave but he was never the main developer. He only joined the project last month and added a few improvements. The coin is not dead and I can't believe how much FUD gets spread about this project. It's unbelievable!

Everyone stay calm and hodl your coins  Grin
