don't pump or even start pump until already on coinmarket cap.... also let's us have a bit more time to mine without everyone crashing in.

Ok so how about coinmarketcap?

Yeah i think on coinmarket cap first would be best.

First a couple of robust block explorers, and working (new) wallet. Then Coinmarketcap.

The working consumer software is now a priority if we want to move forward. I guess that the PoS coupled with the tx fees complicate the wallet. All the PoS coins I have used (HBN,PHS,CGB,BTG) needed a lot of wallet updates, and are still slow compared with PoW.

Most of those other coins frequent updates were due to check pointing with our check pointing server we will likely not require as many if any updates if any for some time after version 1.1. We used a lot of the lessons learned from the exact coins you mentioned. BTG being the first then cloned to CAP then the clones from CAP to HBN, PHS and CGB (and more)

Anyhow watching the progress and evolution of those coins and getting advice from some of the great Stake developers we believe we will not need the constant updates these required (since they began with an inherent flaw) but hey who knows they are beta after all hehe.

Wallet 1.1 (downloaded from Github). I am not getting any connections at all after several hours. Added nodes, config file at the outset... Redownloaded and tried again. Any suggestions ??

i am guessing you have cash.conf with all required nodes placed into it in your roaming\cash folder? are you on windows or linux? if on windows7 be sure to rightclick cash-qt and select "properties" then "unblock".

Thanks to Varvarin, i have started mining cash a few days ago. I think if btc will get a rise and reaches around 800$, cash would become a hit. ANywayz, I'm positive;) though i don't know much.

Is it possible to do something to fix the chat box?  I try to hang there as much as possible to help new users, but i'm always logged out for no reason. I Often don't see new message until I log out, refresh the page and log in again.  It's hard to help people when I don't see their message before they quit  Wink

Watching the prices fall on all bouncy coins simply because of Kimoto Gravity Well fixing to a degree the difficulty exploits is sad.

SmartCoin, DigiByte, EarthCoin, Coino and almost all others  .. there is no way in hell the price of these coins can recover simply because the auto-switching pools don't stay on them long enough now to artificially inflate the hashing power.

We need CASH coin to succeed, it is the antidote to auto-switching pools.

Coinmarket Cat prowls once again.

+1
Shouldn't auto-log in either, makes it confusing for new users who don't realise they can register by logging out and logging in to register Smiley

well on the upside, diff exploitation leads to a very volatile market. without pump n dump the coin will have a more stabilized value making it a good candidate for preservation of value. the coin will grow naturally with an increase of new investors when hashpower is low. as it is the supply and demand for cashcoin atm is very balanced. so as demand grows so will the price and the hashpower will follow when miners see the growth potential. we just need to get more people out of the mindset of quick pumpndump coins and to start looking at coins with real longterm investment potential. if any coin can sit with btc and be a replacement for btc it is cryptocash.

in other news, i have some info coming soon from a microsoft dev about the Point of Sale addons for their retail software. a friend of mine. we should also start looking at getting cryptocash accepted on some online stores. how hard would it be for our dev to code a merchant for cash like bitpay? let's give cash some serious independence as well by getting it traded directly for usd. all these things will make cash very strong. and im here helping with that because i believe it is a top contender for real investment and longterm growth. if we all like these ideas then we can put them in the list of future projects and tackle them one by one during the course of the next few months. possibly monthly projects so we have a new announcement each month for new developments.

Good post Coinler, I totally agree.

Hopefully, HOPEFULLY boss at work will be more interested in accepting 'Crypto' soon, demo'd CASH to him today (first Crypto demo he's seen).
I'll be trying to convince to go bitcoin and CASH, but not using weird services, just straight up, open wallet, create new receiving address, send address to customer, receive funds, job done.
Will have to set up a wee web page to track the exchange price of CASH to GBP, but that should be easy enough.

He'll probably remain stubborn about it though and continue to say no like he has to most of my business ideas that aren't just fixes to blatantly obvious stupidities in the business. He knows better than everyone ya see.

LoL. He's not that bad (although a couple of times...)

He has stopped me with "you're wrong there and I'll tell you why you're wrong" after I got TWO words out in response to the 5 minutes of twaddle he'd blatted Smiley
Boy did I snap back at him for that one!

Anyway..

Just tried giving VTC a go, was on pool I'm currently working, estimated 50 coins per day for my hashrate which would give about double the profit I'm used to at current exchange rates.
Mess about for a few mins setting up... error, error.
Fine, set up another pool.. error, error

Oh, needs modified cgminer and will result in about half the hashrate as normal, which puts it back to the same profit I'm used to for the rig. Wasted 40 mins of my time (and about 20 mining minutes).

News update:

Original unreliable designer is being an unreliable artiste, can't say that came as a surprise, so as always he was actually plan B, can't rely on unreliables.

Plan A, and it gets good, .. is a team of 5 close friends/colleagues in Italy who are originally game designers, but had to sell out to make online casinos. Apparently game design market in Italy sucks .. and needless to say gambling is doing rather well  Wink

So .. they quit and are RIGHT NOW looking for a challenge and after 15 years in the biz to do something for themselves. Got developers, coders and my mate the marketing/design guru and an excellent tank in AoC.  Wink

Long story short .. they are on board and right now sending all the info of this page (hey guys *waves*  Grin)

News 2:

My business partner is right now registering a hardware sales company (above his fish shop .. go figure) and has a courier company too, so we buy tons of hardware at wholesale price and sell it on ebay and website. + phone. Also building rigs and delivery by hand in London, shipping in parts elsewhere.

This is where it gets good .. stay with me .. as I am mining and know how to cash out BTC + can buy stuff online and sell it again for $$$, we will accept coin payments

BTC, LTC, DOGE and -- taadaaa .. CASH ..  then get CoinDesk (being 30mins from my house and all) to interview us promoting benefits of CASH coin Cheesy

You mean, there are still some game devs left who aren't working on Star Citizen or were they the crazy Italian team that were on TNGSS? Smiley

I wondered if CoinDesk were based over here. Would be awesome to get some coverage on there. Pretty good site there (tad sensationalist, but unfortunately, everyone is now) with a butt ton of daily visitors (myself included).

Makes sense to accept Crypto's in the UK as a small business. No need for a middle-man, few enough orders to manage transactions manually and with the hands-off of the government (so far since the stupid voucher thing)....

Keep plugging away Var, eventually some of that spaghetti has to stick :p

Someone just put a 5 BTC order in on Poloniex

I just found 600 CASH sold on poloniex from the other day. Was a pleasant surprise Cheesy
Not GREAT prices, but (mostly) higher than I've sold on Cryptsy so far

EDIT:
Would be nice if that order's from another exchange look to list CASH.

That happened to me, had 900 there after the rush ended, turned some volume on it and still have a buy and sell order just in case.

Info sent to the Italian Mafia Development Inc  .. and they will be coming after anyone who doesn't have at last 100 CASH coins to show .. its an offer you can't refuse  Wink

Still dishing out 25 CASH coins .. PM and you shall receive.
