Yes! Great news. Along with ETH transcations, ETHERDELTA also recovered. Hope launch of Decentraland platform won't overload ETH network again.

Hopefully the obstacles in the ethereum network will end soon. I have a lot of assets in etherdelta and dare not trade because the GAS price is too high for a token...

It seems this will happen because bitcoin is still in bullish mode so this could make this process much easier for any coin. Even ETH lost 0.12BTC in value but it still over $450 as compare in fiat. So it need little to achieve this milestone.

UBS to Launch Live Ethereum Platform with Barclays, Credit Suisse and More!


Just in time for the implementation of stringent new regulatory requirements, some of the largest banks in the world have revealed a pilot designed to simplify compliance using ethereum.

Described internally as the Massive Autonomous Distributed Reconciliation platform, or Madrec for short, the project led by Swiss banking giant UBS, with help from Barclays, Credit Suisse, KBC, SIX and Thomson Reuters, is designed to make it easier for banks to reconcile a wide range of data about their counterparties.

Traditionally, regulated firms use what are called "legal entity identifiers" that are stored in a global data system to execute transactions on behalf of clients, even if those clients themselves don't have one of the codes. But as part of a sweeping regulatory change called the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) II, scheduled to go live in the EU on Jan. 3, 2018, all eligible legal entities will be required to have and use these codes.

Instead of mandating that each of these institutions perform these checks independently, though, the banks built Madrec to mutualize much of the effort in a potentially industry-wide reconciliation process hosted in the Microsoft Azure cloud.

In an exclusive interview with CoinDesk, the head of UBS' blockchain research and development efforts, Peter Stephens, explained how the blockchain infrastructure was designed to help users save money, without sacrificing their competitive edge.

I trade those because they pump like crazy and I want to ride those...
But with Ethereum I dont WANT a "pump" I want it to grow like 10% a month for like the next 4 years.
Ethereum has the foundation and fundamentals. In an ideal world it grows while the others pump....

We all know scalability has been among the most challenging problems for blockchain. It's not some trivial problem that can just be fixed by increasing block size or something. The next hard fork coming meant to address scalability, Constantinople, is expected in 2018.

Also, let's not forget that Ethereum is already the fastest blockchain in the world (by transactions/sec). I'd like to see any other blockchain try to handle the traffic that moves through Ethereum without having just as high (or higher) transaction fees.

Examining the sell bot(s) on GDAX, it seems like the strategy is to sell a bunch of tiny orders to make it look like there is a bunch of selling going on.
It makes the screen flash a lot. Think the concept of slot machines with all the flashy lights and sounds to grab your attention.
They might actually be refilling the highest buy order.
Not sure how it works but it seems to do it when the trend looks like it could start tipping over from rising.
My theory is that the flashy lights could cause some to panic. Mostly target new people
