Small information is about a project. I can not in detail understand, as a novice, but judging on reviews - has prospects. Successes!

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

wish I could have bought ETH the time they listed this thread, feeling bad now! That's a fantastic growth.

Don't feel bad there is still chance to catch this train huge space to grow more strong in future. If you have some reserve than you can buy this right now in long term you will be satisfied with this.

don't be so sure. Ethereum is great, but there's always a threat from new technologies that are emerging right now. Most of the ongoing ICOs are scams, but some might become a better smart contract platform than Ethereum is now.

Couldn't agree more. Ethereum is great but still did not satisfy financial industry due to its limit on speed of transaction it can handle.

To continue my post from yesterday:

Weiss Ratings, an independent rating agency of financial institutions, has released today the nation’s first-ever grades on cryptocurrencies by a financial rating agency, despite a massive Korean cyberattack on its website. Weiss gives Bitcoin a C+ (meaning “fair”) and Ethereum a B (“good”). None of the cryptocurrencies covered currently get a grade of A (“excellent”).

Below is a sampling of Weiss Cryptocurrency Ratings, selected randomly to illustrate a variety of strengths and weaknesses:

Bitcoin (rated C+) gets excellent scores for security and widespread adoption. But it is encountering major network bottlenecks, causing delays and high transactions costs. Despite intense ongoing efforts that are achieving some initial success, Bitcoin has no immediate mechanism for promptly upgrading its software code.

Ethereum (B), the second most widely adopted cryptocurrency, benefits from more readily upgradable technology and better speed, despite some bottlenecks.

So Ethereum is currently the highest rated cryptocurrency out there? Or some project received rank higher than ethereum.

Exactly, ETH along with EOS are the highest ranked. Here are the rest:

B Grade - ETH and EOS.
B- Grade - ADA, NEO and Steem.
C+ Grade - ARK, BTC, BTS, GBYTE, DASH, DCR, IOC, LTC and NEM.

C Grade - AEON, ASCH , BLK, BLOCK, BURST, BCN, XCP, DOGE, ETC, KMD, LSK, MNR, NAV, NBL, NXS, NXT, PPC, PIVX, QTUM, XRB and XRP.
C- Grade - BCH, CLOAK, DGB, XDN, ETN, FTC, NMC, RDD, SKY, UBQ, VIA, XWC and ZEN.
D+ Grade - AUR, BTG, EMC2, GAME, NLG, MEC, ETP and PURA.
D Grade - EXP, GUP, NVC, POT, QUARK, RISE and SALUS.

It seems that for the next few weeks Bitcoin's price will remain almost same with little bit changes in both directions while Ethereum has free way to move as want. I am assuming this because of the future price of next two months so good time to be bullish on Ethereum.

Bitcoin is indeed flat for this week, the determination is this week for the price of biitcoin, if there is still no movement then the ethereum will again crawl up freely.

I share your point of view. I think that bitcoin core will still drop to $ 8.500, and the first currency in the world may be the Ethereum. This can happen already this year.

Damn! EOS and ETH are only two cryptocurrencies that received a B grade. Even though they are currently in top of the class but they need to do much better if they ever wanna get A+

I think it is quite surprising that the Bitcoin is only C+. It is not even a B-.

ETH currently stands at $1,074 and Ripple at $1.22. At Ethereum’s high point it was worth $1,426 and Ripple was above $3.
Crypto investors are worried that regulators round the world will ban or make cryptocurrencies unprofitable.
South Korea announced it will ban the use of anonymous bank accounts in cryptocurrency trading from January 30, in an attempt to crack down on money laundering and other crimes as cryptocurrencies have been linked to these two.

A South Korea Government official said: "The government is still discussing whether an outright ban is needed or not, internally"

Is this actually trustable or better yet usable and important enough? Never heard of this Weiss company. Do they hold Merritt?

I really hope that BTC never drops down. ETH's only way up is when BTC is up. We all look forward for this 0.1 eth/btc ratio. Currently ETH copied 1:1 the bTC chart, so when one is up, the other too. By the way, at the moment both coins spike moderately well.

What is source of this FUD I don't think this will happen and you will get succeed to buy this at more cheaper price. That time has been passed and you missed the chance to catch this train at right time.

Yes it was quite surprising that BTC received C+ but again transaction time and fees of bitcoin is really high when compared to ETH so C+ is quite fair evaluation.

After touching an intraday high of $1,102.4 on Jan. 25, the cryptocurrency fell to the down trendline yesterday, Jan. 26.
Now, if it manages to break out of $1,300,we can expect it to rally to $1,400 levels. now Ethereum soaring at $1,235.62, all cryptocurrencies in green Level.
Once the ETH/USD pair breaks out of $1,300, traders should raise the stop loss from the current levels of $840 to $950. That will decrease our risk.
