Guess BTC, ETH, NEO, and some other Coins will survive, because they are the early adapters of Blockchain.

I have no doubt that 2018 will be Ethereum's year! I am surprised only by those who buy other, low-value coins and believe that they can be better than ETH! They are crazy in my eyes..  Cool Shocked Shocked

NEO is also not bad but ETHis better

You have technical analysis for that advise and what are those coins you are telling about. I would like to hear about that to make secure my future.

Great, another illegal securities offering. How hard is it to hire a lawyer for one hour? I know I'll be investing heavily knowing Sec. 12(a)(1) of the Securities & Exchange Act of 1933 essentially gives me a put right should the value of Ethereum go down whatsoever. And don't think being located outside the US is going to help you.

The first fudster lol, Did he attempted suicide or lived through the shame?

For me, the coins/tokens that I invested in will survive because well I invested in them and I don't want to lose the money.

yes big coin like eth btc neo ripple will surelly survive because everything is depending on them
and mostly eth coin used in contract based tokens and many projects are depending on eth coin so i think eth is good and will be okay
and also its a very good step for sec because many coin and tokens are useless and they have no purpose
only grabing investors money. so my point of view everything is going on the right way

One of the best crypto project right now, I didn't know Vitalik buterin used to have a bitcointalk account. It's really interesting to see but it looks like he is not an active member of this community since 2016.
I am glad to be holding this coin since 300$, now the price is a lot higher. I have a lot of faith in this project and think that it will revolutionize the world. I believe ethereum will survive in the long run.

Ethereum is backbone of all the existed tokens of which some are really useful and will be used as utility and dividends inside their ecosystems. They are solely dependent on Ethereum's chain to move from one place to other and they will not only survive but also will grow over the time. Ethereum is being used for multiple purposes and has remain as important key player in this next generations ecosystem.

Ethereum is discussing how to recover funds lost through hacking and scams:

https://www.coindesk.com/ethereum-devs-call-public-debate-fund-recovery/

Quote
Ethereum's more senior developers are calling for a public debate over what steps, if any, should be taken at the software level to return funds lost in high-profile hacks and incidents.

In a bi-weekly meeting Friday, the developers took sides over a controversial ethereum improvement proposal, EIP 867, which advocates for a method of returning funds to potential victims. As profiled by CoinDesk, the issue has emerged as a lightning rod due to the fact the proposal advocates using system-wide software upgrades as a possible fix.

If they do manage to find a fix, it might go some way to appeasing regulators who are concerned at teh hacks and scams.

A lot will depend on how well Ethereum is going to solve their scalability problems. Only if they can solve that very well the whole platform might grow even more in the future and bring benefits and profits to ETH holders.

I will tell honestly, I do not know as other coins, but such coins as btc and eth will be very long even if many other coins or projects will die, then these will die only together with the crypto market. And still here it is possible to add dex coin now. Now many such coins look perspective as not quiet time approaches.

yup, its somehow the "safe" bet considering crypto being risky. Only thing I dont like is that when BTC falls, everything else (including ETH) falls with it. Only some coins like BTX were holding the price, probably because weekly 6% airdrop.

Welcome to the New Beginning

When the grand experiment that is bitcoin began, the anonymous wizard desired to test two parameters- a trustless, decentralized database enjoying security enforced by the austere relentlessness of cryptography and a robust transaction system capable of sending value across the world without intermediaries. Yet the past five years years have painfully demonstrated a third missing feature: a sufficiently powerful Turing-complete scripting language. Up until this point, most innovation in advanced applications such as domain and identity registration, user-issued currencies, smart property, smart contracts, and decentralized exchange has been highly fragmented, and implementing any of these technologies has required creating an entire meta-protocol layer or even a specialized blockchain. Theoretically, however, each and every one of these innovations and more can potentially be made hundreds of times easier to implement, and easier to scale, if only there was a stronger foundational layer with a powerful scripting language for all of these protocols to build upon. And this need is what we seek to satisfy.

Ethereum is a modular, stateful, Turing-complete contract scripting system married to a blockchain and developed with a philosophy of simplicity, universal accessibility and generalization. Our goal is to provide a platform for decentralized applications - an android of the cryptocurrency world, where all efforts can share a common set of APIs, trustless interactions and no compromises. We ask for the community to join us as volunteers, developers, investors and evangelists seeking to enable a fundamentally different paradigm for the internet and the relationships it provides.

Who is Behind Ethereum?

Our primary core devs are:

  • Vitalik Buterin → Inventor of Ethereum, protocol developer and researcher
  • Gavin Wood →Lead C++ developer
  • Jeffrey Wilcke → Lead Go developer

Primary non-development members include:

  • Anthony Di Iorio → Founder and Executive Director of the Bitcoin Alliance of Canada, Bitcoin Decentral, KryptoKit
  • Mihai Alisie → Founder of Bitcoin Magazine and Egora
  • Joseph Lubin → Software engineer, Quantitative Analyst
  • Stephan Tual → Founder of Ursium, Communications

A more extensive but non-exhaustive list of team members can be found here.

Our ether sale is available at http://ethereum.org ; the site contains all needed instructions.

I also think the Bitcoin Cash project. Similar to ETH and has lots of supporters.
