I will tell honestly, I do not know as other coins, but such coins as btc and eth will be very long even if many other coins or projects will die, then these will die only together with the crypto market. And still here it is possible to add dex coin now. Now many such coins look perspective as not quiet time approaches.
yup, its somehow the "safe" bet considering crypto being risky. Only thing I dont like is that when BTC falls, everything else (including ETH) falls with it. Only some coins like BTX were holding the price, probably because weekly 6% airdrop. yes but not all of the coins and tokens falls with bitcoin last few weeks bitcoin falls very hard but eth did not fall like bitcoin eth price is still good and will soon cross its all time high in this year and also i have checked and coinmarketcap most gainser and losers. and i see there that a lot of coins were in green and gains alot while bitcoin falls

One of MEW founders has launched new service of MyCrypto and promised that it will serve ETH community even better than MEW. But when I tried to land up on mycrypto.com my MCAffee SiteAdvisor blocked the access showing "Whoa, that page could be risky". Why is that?

Ethereum is the basis for many ERC20 tokens, so it must stay and constantly evolve here.

Are there any issues with MEW now, after mycrypto is out? Are our coins on MEW safe (and will remain safe)?

I am still using MEW. To avoid any issue my personal tactic for using MEW is to sign transactions with the cold MEW ( the code was downloaded from GitHub and installed on computer never connected to Internet) and broadcast them via other computer connected to Internet. Works fine for now and I didn't want to even consider to change my habbit and move from MEW

Apparently there should not be any issue or security problem since everything is encrypted at users end. They don't store anything at their side. I could be concerned if my private keys or other sensitive data was stored or shared with them at any level.

I can't see any reason causing trouble for people who have stored coins on a wallet address generated with Myetherwallet. Should work just fine.

Works fine for me, it has the same source as MEW for the time being. Here's Taylor's article about the shift: https://medium.com/mycrypto/mycrypto-launch-6a066bf41093

Ethereum even now can become no.1 on coinmarketcap just by doubling its value just like XRP did with it few months ago. This simply doesn't mean over taking the project, based on their value. If value is only measure then at least two coins are more valuable than ETH at the moment. What I want to say is don't mix up things to define conclusion of your desire and what you like.

Did you guys experience any problems with MEW? Maybe I missed some big stories but I never had trouble using that service.

Guys, there are quite a lot smart contract platforms on the market at the moment and new ones are coming. Do you think Ethereum will retain leadership among such a platforms forever? For me, it might be more profitable to invest in lower market cap platforms (Lisk, Qtum EOS, ..) ?
You're making the assumption those lower market cap platforms will see the same kind of attention Ethereum has, and increase in adoption/usage/value at a greater rate than Ethereum (otherwise, it would be by definition, less profitable)....it's a bold assumption And do those platforms have a leader with an IQ of 257 like Vitalik Buterin when Albert Einstein and Bill Gates both had an identical IQs of 160? The saying goes whatever the other platforms can do we can do better, why bet on less intelligence? Stephen Hawking (IQ score of 160). Marilyn Vos Savant (IQ score of 228) ... Christopher Hirata (IQ score of 225) ... Kim Ung-Yong (IQ score of 210) ... Edith Stern (IQ score of more than 200) ... Christopher Michael Langan (IQ score between 190 and 210) ... Garry Kasparov (IQ score of 194) ... Philip Emeagwali (IQ score of 190) Vitalik Buterin (IQ score of 257) Do you see my point? Get real, 257 my eye. He would be listed in guiness if he was even close to that. I bet I can beat him at chess
