I have no idea what they are doing and I don't care. Just in case, I blocked access to that site so I don't get there accidentally.
now, when I type cryptorush.in  it goes to google  Grin

Actually, there are far fewer coins in maintenance mode now than there were a few days ago.

What's the problem? They've replaced almost all the depleted wallets now. Looks like there turning things around. This site gets tons of volume. Can't deny volume especially with the newer coins.

Did they replace every single lost coin? Or just put a new wallet up? Because the latter doesn't pay back the hundreds of thousands of dollars gone dry.

Guys, if you schedules maintenance, then it is very simply to post a message with the date when it will start, and approximate time that site will be offline. It will keep us stay informed, make less rumors, and we do not stay confused and obscured, tapping F5 every 5 minutes, wondering about current situation and if all our money still ok and there is no problems.

Really. Just post updates about your plans and work. It is simply, to write a short message about it. Trust me, it will take only 20-30 seconds of your time, and users will stay calm and quiet. Just try to post messages, it is fascinatingly and you've never regret about it. Thank you very much.

Seems like all these scam exchanges just followed the mt gox scandal and mimmicked their actions move-for-move.   Gox, Coinex, Cryptorush...list goes on and on. (well at least with coinex they went back up and refunded).  And now the infamous 'maintenance mode' splash page.

Sound familiar?

Yep, I have 2 btc at this POS that are as good as gone, because even though it showed it in my balances, I'd have to exchange it for another shitcoin, which are all priced around 50% higher than market.  So in essence I'd lose half my stack right off the bat.

Good game, craptorush.  Good game.

Well said, unfortunately, there is plenty of people who still trade there, who still deposit coins there and people who will be scammed again when all this "1st wave of scamming" will be forgotten by time Sad

Sad

Yes, really. There is a difference between the site being in maintenance mode and the wallets being in maintenance mode. I think you know that.

I'm not sure why you guys keep saying it was all a big scam. They were a victim of a crime.(theft) You should at least give them a chance to see if they can fix it before you call it a scam. I'm not sure why you guys even kept a huge bitcoin balance on ANY exchange. Keep most of it in your wallet and only deposit what you need to trade. I thought that was crypto currency 101...I've made a shitload from the panickers. Sure they may still go tits up but I have most of my stuff offsite. If they pull it off and the new owners get back the stolen coins or refinance the site, I'll make even more. Supposedly they are going to try and fix the bitcoin wallet at least so let's wait until it's up before freaking out. Or just stop trading, because no one wants to hear your bullshit anymore. It's in their best interest to get the site up and working, it's a cash cow for them.

I am not going to try to defend anyone with this post, yet many of you will read this wrong.
I know that i will start receive flames, but seriously guys.

Many people had money in MtGox. Many exchanges had money there too.
Those exchanges got burned like every other user there.

Using the "scam" card on everything is old, get over it, learn more terms to use and try to analyze something before you jump on the bandwagon.
I've got coins in CR, but i am daily there, especially since the fckup. Yes, there are delays. Yes, they had some wallets stolen.

Saying that this is Gox all over again only shows the level of your ignorance.
Shows that you never really understood wtf happened to gox in the first place.

I've been making this CR clustefuck work on my favor. Yes, This is possible.
I cant pull out my btc, but since the site is working, i can still profit massively. From everyone else;s panic.

Buying shitcoins from other exchanges, bringing them into CR and selling there made me a decent amount so far.

You cant have a problem when they are not working on issues, and at the same time have problems because they are in maintenance mode working out those issues. Make up your mind.

Maintenance mode with people live in irc and live updates from twitter, well is that what you need when your coins are inaccessible?

I cant pull out my btc

...

NEVER EVER PARK YOUR COINS IN AN EXCHANGE.

Says the guy who has his bitcoin forcibly parked on the exchange.

While I get your point, the fact remains they could've gone about this 200 other ways, and yet they haven't. Ask yourself, why would someone pick up a site which has one of the worst reputations right now, and put money into it, actually believing they can turn the reputation around?

They wouldn't, not anyone with sense.

Speculation: They could use it to skim off the top though, and all they have to do is keep it online and act like they're replenishing the lost money.
