Should be just one point Smiley

I think that you can experiment with adding more coins. ->
You removed some not very profitable coins, now if there are no new profitable, just add some different coins that may become profitable and are easy on the server to handle and us to mine. I think its better to have alternatives.

This is difficult unfortunately for a few reasons:
1) The list of potential coins is _huge_, would end up wasting a ton of time just sorting through them.
2) The only way we'd be able to exchange them is by picking coins that are already on exchanges, and we're back to #2 again Smiley
3) A large number of the ones I'd pick (just by statistics) would end up being worthless (and wasted mining power)
4) Most of these smaller coins, we'd absolutely blow out immediately if we pointed any reasonable amount of our hashing power at them.

I'm all for adding coins, but it comes down to more of a "how much time do you guys want me to spend on new features" vs "how much time do you want me to spend hitting 'trade' manually"?

Is it possible we could get a minimum difficulty, im getting a bit tired of one of my workers dropping to 2

Just like 16 or something, 2 is just useless for everyone.

Atm im having 60 shares a minute...

Yes, you can lock the difficulty to whatever you'd like. Check the main page for help. Point your miners to either:

New York: stratum+tcp://useast.wafflepool.com:3333
California: stratum+tcp://uswest.wafflepool.com:3333
Amsterdam: stratum+tcp://eu.wafflepool.com:3333

Username: Your Bitcoin Address
Password: Any Password is acceptable

You can use one of the following as your password to set your miners difficulty (remove quotes):
"d=64", "d=128", "d=256", "d=512", "d=1024"

Mine is for example: cgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://eu.wafflepool.com:3333 --scrypt -u [bitcoin address] -p d=256 -I 13 -w 256 -g 2 --thread-concurrency 8192 --shaders 2048

Difficulty is now locked @ 256

Definitely not trade manually, better spend time on fixing/upgrading features than testing trading with bad coins.

It depends. MEOW was very profitable for a couple of weeks when it was just on the non-automated exchange. Trading it once per day would perhaps have added significantly to the overall profit of the pool.

Many other shitcoins are not that profitable and not worth the trouble.

Judging by wafflepool's stats page, it seems the btc/MH/day is about 0.011, whereas at MC I was getting used to 0.013 atleast. I hope to see wafflepool's income increase as more power is added.

More power will decrease profitability not increase it. We will drive up the difficulty of the coins we mine, driving down their profitability. Pooled mining is not a "contest" where the idea is for your team/pool is to be bigger than the other team/pool.

There a lot of randomness, and more power can help with that. But it isn't clear whether a profitability gap (if one exists) is a random factor or algorithmic differences in either mining or trading. If the latter than growing the pool won't help, only improving it.

Adding potentially profitable coins that can be auto-exchanged should be top priority, I agree that having confirmed un-exchanged coins for prolonged periods is unnecessary exposure to markets with low liquidity.

Also I'd like to see average hashrate on coins over fixed hourly periods (0300-0400, or longer term like 6 or 12 hours) rather than averages over just 60 seconds. This also stops other similar pools nearly-knowing what wafflepool is mining and using this information to their advantage. This would also mean introducing lag for updates to unconfirmed balances, which I would be in favour of. Scraping live (or nearly live) hashrates from other profit-pools might be worthwhile in any algorithm. There is a balance between being open enough for the miners and being too open you potentially aid competition. Clean lag of 30-60mins might be considered if it's not already implemented.

I triede that, on the eu server. But my rejected increased from 0.1% to 2%  So im just using the one without country suffix.

If anything, a locked difficulty should drop reject %, not increase it.  No country prefix is exactly the same as useast (it proxys to useast actually), would be better for you to just set to useast if thats your closest server.

Kinda weird. Since I've been using d=256 on EU server, my rejects went down to almost 0%:

GPU 0:  79.0C 2899RPM | 752.9K/752.8Kh/s | A:37632 R:0 HW:0 WU: 570.9/m I:13
GPU 1:  77.0C 3496RPM | 726.7K/715.8Kh/s | A:38048 R:0 HW:0 WU: 568.7/m I:13
GPU 2:  80.0C 3605RPM | 685.1K/717.7Kh/s | A:44800 R:0 HW:0 WU: 685.7/m I:13

Hello,
I have been mining in this pool for about 36 hours now, but the total payout doesn't seem to reach the sweet spot.

Can you guys point me to the corect settings?
I have a Gtx670 an use cuda miner with 13x7 and achieve a average 330 khs.
Problem is i get quite a few of no accepted hashes(cuda doesn't look like cgminer relating to settings/mesages). What is a recomended dificulty for this card?

Got first payment here for 0.0029 btc with a total of 0.0011 and 0.0013 not changed or confirmed yet

That  means 2.18$ + 1$ not confimed in a total of 37 hours now and 2 blocks found by me.

Only farming doge i was making 3600-4200 doge = 4.35$ - 5$ per day. Am I doing something wrong here?

Nice to see a higher hashrate, makes cracking open those doge blocks a lot quicker.

except its in unexchanged...

The closest server to me is the EU one, and i did set a prefix diff to d=128  and that got me higher rejects.

Dear Poolwaffle,

can we make the exchange more automatic? Have a lot in unexchanged. Before it was pretty quick exchanged. Don't know what happend.

Hope you can work on that Smiley. And some startup coins are looking good, but understand it's hard to get them in if their hard to exchange.

Hope you find a way to get some new (high valuable) coins in.

Greets,

1 block old shared are accepted. 2 blocks old are not.

Daltonganger: auto-exchange seems to be working fine.  I see no significant build up of unexchanged.
