Could just be bad luck. We have bad days and good days, but if you stick with it, it evens out in the end.

Ok our pool has not seen blocks for at least 3-4 hours AND the altcoin has not changed according to the reports...its sitting on lotto.  The new update to the profit switcher must be malfunctioning.  We are mining the same blocks from lotto and getting nowhere.  I hope that PoolWaffle will respond with an update soon so we know whats going on.
We mined a doge block, so we aren't stuck on lotto. Based on diff, we are mining doge constantly right now. So ya, something is broken or stuck right now, but Doge isn't a bad thing to be stuck on. The pie charts aren't updating either. Poolwaffle will probably fix in the morning.  Looks like we got stuck right around when the doge reward halved... incomplete profitability algo maybe?

In better news, our leafcoin finally got exchanged ! Yay!

Stuck on doge is odd because the original choice was based on current block size, not the average. So it should still be like that (I assume) and the block halving shouldn't make any difference.

Whenever I take a look at the site, I always wonder why it mines inprofitable coins. Currently CHNCoin - that's ridiculous. The most profitable coin for days has been leafcoin. It does not even appear in the stats. Please add it - and mine it.

Just a quick update guys.  We had some issues when upgrading parts of our stratum endpoints.  Everything should be fixed at this point, although you may see a couple quick drops on connections.

As for leaf, it was previously disabled due to cryptsy not processing deposits (which is also why it was the most profitable during that whole time, no one was able to sell it, so price kept going up).

I am using wafflepool since 3 days ago, and I received my first payout yesterday at around 12.00 o'clock.

Stats must still be jacked up!  I see we are stuck on Lucky as well.

EDIT:  ....BUT as least Waffle fixed the endpoint issues because my rig IS now finding blocks.  It's out of that endless cycle of no blocks on hours on end.

I think the stats page is just broken. We seem to be switching and mining perfectly fine right now.

Oh, and chncoin is actually quite profitable on occation.

Hi all :-),

I'm quite new to wafflepool and I have already searched some infos on a question that i'll ask to you all now, 'cause I didn't find anything on it...

On my stat page, it's quoted that I have found a block (chncoin).
What does it mean ?
Would I get some extra reward ? Or is it just an info ?

Thank you :-)

Just informative.  Finding blocks is cool, so it's interesting to see when you do.

I have found almost 700 blocks for wafflepool now =)

Hm... have some problems here, too. But appeared only recently:

Code:
[19:05:52] Started sgminer 4.1.0-2-g4ce8
[19:05:52] Loaded configuration file /home/miner/configs/wafflepool.conf
[19:05:52] Probing for an alive pool
[19:06:02] Waiting for work to be available from pools.
[19:06:12] Failed to resolve (?wrong URL) useast.wafflepool.com:3333
[19:06:12] Failed to resolve (?wrong URL) eu.wafflepool.com:3333
[19:06:12] Failed to resolve (?wrong URL) uswest.wafflepool.com:3333
[19:06:12] Failed to resolve (?wrong URL) wafflepool.com:3333
[19:06:12] Pool 0 slow/down or URL or credentials invalid

On two different machines a similar result.

Edit:

It's a DNS issue.

Using the IPs instead should be fine:

162.243.53.32 (useast.wafflepool.com),
95.85.28.31 (eu.wafflepool.com),
192.241.238.54 (uswest.wafflepool.com)
162.243.208.243 (wafflepool.com)

Wafflepool doesn't have the 3GH/s mentioned in the original post, so presumably not just waffle if that was all 'extra'.

The Luckycoin client often overshoots in the hash rate estimate in these situations.
At one point it showed 2.8 GH/s that was nearly 50x the previous hashing rate.
Anyway the difficulty went from 1 to 23. Never in the lifetime of the coin the difficulty was that high.

As usual all the profit minded miners are now gone and the Luckycoin network hashes at 10 MH/s or less at a difficulty appropriate for a 1GH/s network with block times in the hours.

Hm ya, the site appears to be 'borked'. Now I can access by IP only, and there are no hashrates being shown. Looks like block rewards and shares are still being countes tho, so only a display issue.

the wafflepool site is showing hashrate at 0 and 0 miners, but stratum works just fine, seems to be just the front end having an issue
