Wow, what just happened with X11? I checked this morning and my earnings was sitting on 0.024 and profitability like 169% vs LTC, just got a payment of 0.038 and profitability shot up to 369% - awesome! Definitely not complaining I think he mentioned that one of the coins wasn't setup correctly for trading, and so it had been piling up. Fortunately, for everyone, the value shot up and when he sold, we made much more than we would have if it was sold as it was mined. As PW mentioned, it could easily have been the opposite, but I am so very impressed at his work, and not just because I woke up to a nice .60 payment that was unexpected. Yep, and the stats page X11 graph is laughable waffle do you have any api where can have at least 1 hr (if inaccurate less then 1 hr ) stat? thnx EDIT: or even better actual stat at moment of calling the api, and then some time frame which you think it is acceptable to be accurate Which stats are you looking for, miner stats, pool stats, earnings? We have two api's already available that might cover your needs: Miner stats: http://wafflepool.com/api/miner?address=XXXXXXXXPool stats: http://wafflepool.com/api/statsBoth are up-to-date to the minute. If there is something you would like added, let me know and I can see what I can do.

My stats page is showing ~1.2Mh/s for nscrypt and 9Mh/s for x11, but I'm not seeing any coins or shares after 20 hours or so. Is the old stats page showing only scrypt shares?
Also how long should I expect to wait before seeing some unconverted or unconfirmed coin income?

Uniphase21: Windows on Linux? I just switched over a xubuntu box to X11. It wasn't easy because I am a linux novice, and I could not find step by step instructions.
Yokay: I started seeing coin stats right away. There is a separate column for each type mining (scrypt, nscrypt, x11). What are your Worker Stats showing for Algorithm and Hash Rate? If they show up there, you should have coin stats (sent, earned, unconverted, total) right below.

When I switched, I simply replaced CGMiner/SGminer on all my rigs with SPH-SGminer with the X11MOD and tried my normal settings, which with a couple exceptions, worked to get me running. I then went through and tweaked the intensity (13 up to 16 for most 7970s), and played around with many other settings to get at least 4x my Scrypt hashrate, more in many cases. If you do the above, and find it is not working with the rig, simply reduce the engine settings, and try again. I did this with 50 rigs, so you should be fine if you have less.

Uniphase21: For xubuntu, I tried to follow the link off Poolwaffle, but I was missing some of the packages. So, I followed this first: https://forums.chunkypools.com/t/guide-compiling-sgminer-for-x11-coins-in-ubuntu/28All I cared about was getting it to compile and create an executable. Once I got it to run (without connecting to a pool), I then followed the link off poolwaffle https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=623409.0which currently points to: https://github.com/lasybear/sph-sgminer_x11modOn the right side of the page is the Download Zip file link Once you download it, click on the file to extract it. in terminal mode, navigate to the directory and execute the commands which are at the "*nix build instructions" section autoreconf -i CFLAGS="-O2 -Wall -march=native" ./configure <options> make I use CGminer for Scrypt mining, so the sph-sgminer is pretty similar. I use "-c <filename>" option to create a configuration file with all the parameters. Much easier to change parameters (one on each line), than trying to edit the command line instructions. Note: this assumes you already can mine scrypt. If this is new, you need to run the following commands prior to sgminer: export DISPLAY=:0 export GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100 export GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1 I think the important commands form the chunkypools build are the sudo apt-get commands. But, going all the way to through build makes sure you are not missing anything. Then you need the lasybear build because it has the x11mod kernel that you need to run for waffelpool. Note: it also has an x13 kernel, so it might work for WP when PW gets x13 working. Note2: Kernels seem to be specific to builds because I could not use the x11mod kernel on a different build. Hence, the two step process.

richmke: My stats show my worker, nscrypt algorithm, and a 1.31 hashrate. Under bitcoin earnings the table is only one column that lists sent earned unconverted, but no numbers there. Under the Coin total there's nothing shown either just some blank cells. Here's what my stats look like: http://snag.gy/c1LjN.jpg

yokay: My novice guess is that you have a bad User address. Seems like your worker address is your wallet address. The form of the user name should be: "<bitcoin address>_<worker name>". Since you only have one worker, just skip the "_<worker name>" part. If you do that, on your stats page, it will show as "(default)" under the worker name.

Hey guys, I made a post in the sgminer thread about a crazy frustrating problem I am having with setting up x11 on my rig. I'd figure I'd post it here also as I'm offering a 0.015 BTC bounty for anyone who fixes problem! Here it is: Hey guys, here is a pic of sgminer when it freezes. In this instance it froze @ around 14 minutes into mining. It will do this randomly from 10 minutes in to 2 1/2 hours in. https://i.imgur.com/D3j98Zu.jpgI get those two messages when sgminer crashes everytime! "Stratum connection to Pool 0 interrupted" and the last one "Pool 0 difficultly changed to 0.160". Windows does not crash and I can easily restart sgminer. This is definitely not an internet problem. As I said before I ran scrypt mining on this same machine for months without problem. Longest uptime was 2 months straight without rebooting or crashing cgminer! To double check I ran cgminer with scrypt when I was @ work and all was well when I got home. Booted up x11 and the pic above happened. Boot with a config file or just a .bat... doesn't make a difference, both crash. More information on my setup for those looking to help: 2 R9 290s (Gigabyte and ASUS), 2 R9 270s (ASUS), and 1 MSI R9 270x -- 4 GB of ram. I am running windows 8.1 currently with the 13.12 AMD drivers. I am literally pulling my hair out cause I have no solution to this problem! I don't know what I could change in the config to help this... lowered intensity, fiddled with the clocks -- all which did not help. I have a 2nd small rig with a 5850 and 270x upstairs thats hashes x11 fine and hasn't crashed since I started it... I'm going nuts! Big fat 0.015 BTC to anyone that can get me running stable!

Smalltimer: I got 2 R9 280x GPUs running on a xubuntu box (ran for 2 days without any problems). When I tried to fine tune the settings sgminer started crashing the system. I narrowed it down to different settings for different cards (trying different settings on each card to see which is better). SGminer did not like that. Try the same I=16 setting on all cards (one parameter, not the same value for each card), and see what happens.
I also just noticed that you do not have a valid User name (field is blank). Did you blank it out in the pic? It should be your bitcoin address.

Stratum connection interrupted regularly occurs on my box but does not crash sgminer, it resumes normally. If sgminer is crashing you may have setting for one of the cards intensity set too high, try lowering intensity Update to 14.4 drivers

Trying this now! Hope it works. If that doesn't help you can try sgminer's "device" parameter to test one GPU at a time, or disable one at a time. If this is a hardware issue you should be able to find which GPU is causing the crash and then you can tweak its parameters, e.g. lower "gpu-engine" or something like that.

I was about to write just that. Isolate the problem by narrowing it down to the card causing issues. It's a bit of a hassle to do (and some hashing time lost), but sometimes that's what you have to do...
