I know a lot of people are against this but I still think it would be awesome if we had a segment with like a separate port where people could mine and then rather than immediately cashing out the coins to BTC they would be held a little longer term seeking price appreciation and cash out at more ideal times (with inherent risks involved of course.) Sort of like a multipool mutual fund lol.

One of the next major features I'd like to work on (although it is a very large codebase change) is optional payouts in the coins that we mine.  Essentially you'd be able to "register" (sign a message from your btc account) an altcoin address, and those addresses would get paid mined coins (before exchange), and any leftover balance would be exchanged.  So essentially, depending on the coins we've mined, you might get back 50% in that coin, and 50% in btc, and the next day a different amount (depending on how much was mined).

It has a bunch of benefits for everyone, we can avoid the exchange (fees), can avoid pushing down the market a bit (not selling those coins), and people get to hold coins they want to hold (optional).  Its a win-win, its just a lot of code Smiley

Would love to have this feature on your site. I will stop mining at multipool.us if you can code it up. Plus wafflepool is now at critical size (35 GH/S). The only option for wafflepool to grow without killing the altcoins is to go that route.

i wont say it WILL happen but it CAN happen, but thats all part of this game; is by the time most of these coins confirm its not gonna be worth what they're , but a ALOT less, its on CRYPTSY now, that means the death of this coin is inevitable, do not for instance tell me this is THE coin that will stand the test of time, hopefull thinker is hopefuly thinker.  BUT they dont call it speculation for nothing. DONT get all your hopes up people, a little hope is ok. And hidden coin, really, the size of waffle alone makes it easy to spot where it's at, its like the elephant in the room.

A fair chunk has already been traded.  Looking okay so far, and market depth is holding up.  And maturation time is fairly reasonable.  You are of course right, however - counting your coins before they are exchanged could be the new "counting your chickens".

Who the fuck cares, you think poolwaffle is some genius that has a coin that no one fucking knows , its white coin hes mining, and everyone knows that. Plus with 8 hour confirms, i dont think the pump will even last that long. Lol at this "hidden" coin, what happened transparency.

Well when major pump happens on some coin and everyone speaks of it in the forums it is quite clear what is he mining, but before wc there has been several small hidden ones being mined, so it holds more value in this case and at least stops others from just fetching the info right off the page, rather than spending time to look for themselves.

My poolside hash rate look fairly close to my local reported rate. I've got two asic rigs, one is based on DualMiners and the other on Gridseed 5 chip units.

If you have multiple pools in your config, maybe some of the hash is pointing at another pool? I see a small amount of leakage to my second configured pool every day. I assume that there are occasional connection problems to WP, so hash gets briefly redirected. But my config is such that it always returns to the primary pool.

Do you have logs that you can check? I run cgminer as a service under Daemon Tools, so I always have a rotating log that I can check when stuff goes weird.

For these Pools, are we able to add difficulty at the end of out Bitcoin address, like we were able to when on p2pools of Vertcoin? Like

Bitcoin address +0.00168432

And WP is reporting -/+2% difference in hashrate, pretty much on point

Diff is fixed at 512.  You used to be able to specify 1024 manually in the password, but I don't think this has worked since PW's implemented his custom stratum layer.

This is correct.  Currently hard-locked at 512
