REQUEST

PoolWaffle: Please add NiceHash to your coin list. Nicehash is a GH rental group and it pays more than the pool does. You could easily snatch up the orders there to bring in a few extra BTC's.

Thanks,
-DM

NH can barely cope with 2 GH/s, waffle would kill it within seconds Smiley

However selling out to the highest bidder might be an interesting idea. Without any middle-men, just add some sort of bidding option to the website. This could have some serious evil potential Smiley

On the contrary, it would drive the price down at Nicehash and bring up their hashing ability. It's a win-win for both parties.

That would be neat if PoolWaffle allowed renting of the 40+Gh/s that's mining here. As a small miner all I can say is "Think of all those satoshis"

Aww yeah.
-DM

I actually debated it a while ago.  The problem is that I think we could pretty easily end up in some sort of terrible loop, where we point hash power to NH, the person renting from NH points to us, and around it goes.

Renting out from WP is another option I had debated a while ago, the unfortunate part is it takes either a massive overhaul of our internals (none of our existing stuff would work for it), or a ton of trust working with another party to proxy all of our hashrate as a whole (who knows if they'll pay, etc).

I suggest an alternative, work with Nicehash to ban WafflePool from being a targeted pool.

Additionally, if someone works around all of that, you can always work with nicehash to immediately dissolve that order and take all the BTC from it.

Once again, if there's a beta test, let me know Tongue

Thanks PW..  And my Miners are hosted so I really have no way to track my Hash rate say for like the last 24hrs (To make sure I did not go down or something)..

I miss that one WP site that use to give REALLY good Hash Rate History..   Are there any other WP stats sites that do this?

you can see 12 hr hash rates at www.wafflepoolmonitor.com

Over the last week maybe 3-4 days I have stopped using the site as I keep getting an error "Invalid address, please check your address, remove any extra spaces/extra characters from your address." which comes up as a dialogue and grabs the attention of Safari so that other windows don't respond.  It has previously worked fine.  I have copied the address in from PW site so I know that it is correct.

i have a problem with wafflepoolmonitor also.

There are two (android) Apps. A free one and a paid one.

The paid one still says " hi, atleast one of your adresses is not registered. To register your adress Please send 0.003 BTC to 1MR.........

I did send long time ago already (why not, it´s not that much and why nop support the app dev) and registered my btc adress with sending 0.003 BTC

The Free version ist working perfectly. Did send email to wafflepoolmonitor(at)gmail.com , but no answer (at least until now).

Ok, do it quietly and don't tell anyone  Grin

List a few 150-300 MH/s rigs on Betarigs, call them "KNC testing equipment" to confuse everyone, and you'll make a killing at the current rates.

@poolwaffle

Don't work with any other website, lease it yourself direct to customers.
People need to offer BTC/Mhash more than what WP can make to take advantage of its hashrate. That way, you can behave that customers like a coin. Make a proxy to that address and point some miners to a that proxy.

I think this is doable and customers will like it more than rig-leasing sites because they can rent their hashrate from a big/trusted pool instead of stranger people.

Hi Guys!
Im here just to say goodby to all of you...

Im closing my farm, and closing shop on this mining business.
Its just too expensive to mine now... BTC coin is very low anda the daily mining don´t cover the costs...

With ASIC apearing in force, this is the end for gpu mined scrypted coins...

Good Luck to you all and lets hope this is just a fase and new and more profitable winds come our way...

Best Regards,

Hi,

I'm missing a payment.  On the pool side, it shows a payment. On blockchain.info it also shows the payment. But it's not showing on my wallet!!

Could someone please clarify how I could fix this.

thanks.

Sync your wallet?

I'm using electrum. I don't need to sync. And days after, I'm still missing the payment. I don't know who to contact for this.

Most likely the electrum devs.  The payment most definitely was sent (it shows up on blockchain, has confirmations, etc).  But if your wallet isn't showing it for some reason, that's where the problem is Sad

If the transaction is on the blockchain then the payment from waffle was successful. Check that the receiving address is the same (check every single char). If the address is correct then the problem could be with Electrum, try to upgrade it to a newer version or to re-initialize it with your seed, even on another pc or on a virtual machine.

Any ideas poolwaffle?
