Hi all,

My MPOS pool (https://cga.inceptioncraft.net/pool/) was hit by a bug in MPOS relating to double payments, and in the process of updating to the newest CGA wallet, the payouts table was damaged. You can still mine safely, and I will try to have payouts running again by tomorrow mid-day (EST). I'll be travelling via airplane for the second half of tomorrow, so I can't be reached after around 11am/12pm-ish EST tomorrow until Friday. You can email me at kevin@inceptioncraft.net if you have issues not related to the payout issue, and I will try to get to it as soon as possible.

Mandatory Update to Version 1.3.3.2!
Update before block 88k. Older versions will not connect to this new version!

Download Binaries @ CGAnomaly.com!
At this moment my new 1.3.3.2 wallet tells me that we are at block 84,300 so it will be 3,700 blocks until cut-off.
With the current less than 50 blocks per hour avg finding rate, this means at least approx 75 hours, just over 3 days
until the older wallets won't sync any more - for most people that will mean April 6 (probably around 5 AM GMT, but it
could also be as late as 10AM since I have seen block finding rate drop to 45 per hour, half designed rate, due to
excursions in the diff)

Not exactly a clone, but it's similar.  I don't know of any coin before CGA that had blocks that reward 0 coins. I am interested to see how it plays out for them, as they made several mistakes we made (including 0 coin rewards, KGW, etc).

Also, this means we're gaining popularity! Woohoo!

Download Binaries @ CGAnomaly.com!

I can confirm that all our exchanges (SwapHole, Bittrex, AllCrypt, Poloniex, Allcoin) have updated! So far this has been one of the most smoothest mandatory updates we have done, and hopefully it will be the last for sometime!

Edit: also, all the pools are updated as well. The only pool that I have not heard from yet (so I don't know if they are updated or not) is omargpools.ca:23932. I have sent them an email, I hope they update soon.

Hey guys, does anybody here operate a p2p pool? I'm trying to set up a pool just for myself, and the versions I found don't support this coin. Do you somehow modify the source for it to support this coin? I haven't been able to figure this out.

You can also try asking this question in the CGA irc channel, I know at least two people usually in there run p2pools for us.

Download the normal p2pool software, then get the patch from the bottom of this page and use it to patch the pool software:

How do you apply this patch? Sorry I'm a bit of a noob in this. I'm doing this in Win 7 btw.

Before I tell you how, why are you setting up a pool just for yourself? If you want to solo mine, say so and we'll tell you how, because P2Pool won't really help you solo mining at all.

OK, what you want to do is get the Stratum mining proxy from here: https://mining.bitcoin.cz/mining-proxy-howto
and then run it with --help in a command line (cmd). There's an option to connect to your own wallet.

The stratum mining proxy is to convert the http:// protocol into stratum which is the opposite of what I need. Am I wrong?
