Ugh, was solo mining, hope the coins I did get arent on the wrong fork  Sad

I hope you have been keeping up to date in the thread and irc, the older your client the more coin you will probably end up losing.  Undecided One of the causes of forks they think was a solominer on an out of date client.

My client was updated on thursday

Same here, but the latest version : 1.3.2.1 gives a runaway exception for me ?

You have to delete everything in the appdata folder except for wallet.dat

I was told this was not necessary. Indeed when I updated to 1.3.2.1 it redownloaded the chain from the beginning without me needing to delete anything. I didn't get a runaway exception though so I cant help there. sorry. It simply worked for me. If you go to the irc channel maybe one of the devs can help you get it sorted out.

It gave me runaway exception until I deleted everything

Can you confirm that it is now working for you? Also, are you on Windows, Mac, or Linux?

After I deleted everything client opened, redownloaded blockchain and I lost everything I'd mined since 5pm on friday... windows

Everything seems to be slowly getting back to normal. Please Update to version 1.3.2.1. It is mandatory and will force you on to the correct blockchain. I am sorry in advance for the lose of coin.

Dowloads @ CGAnomaly.com

Update before you move any coins fellas

I think you would have earned only a couple real CGA for that hash if the network was functioning properly throughout that time. I will send you 1 CGA and hopefully a couple other people will send you 1 and hope you will have more than you would have earned for your hash.

I updated yesterday, deposited to Poloniex last night to verify I was on the right chain. I woke up this morning and my client was on a fork.

So, I did a pull from git and tried to redownload the blockchain but I can't get any connections in my client. Is there an addnode list that is accurate as of this morning?

Maybe my ip was banned by the network for being on last night's chain?

You can try this:
Code:
cryptographicanomalyd -connect=node1.cga.anomalypool.com

or use
node2.cga.anomalypool.com with the command above.

Just updated to 1.3.2.1 windows and I now show a mismatch between new client and http://cga.inceptioncraft.net/blockexplorer/chain/Cryptographic%20Anomaly.

client: 70309
inceptioncraft chain: 70337

Which is correct?

I think cga.inceptioncraft.net runs the old client to keep track of the "old chain", use the block explorer here: http://node1.cga.anomalypool.com:2760/chain/CryptographicAnomaly

So you're good.

Ok.  That matches up.  It is a bit confusing because last night I was told that inceptioncraft was the correct chain.

Thanks

It was, but now IC block explorer is forked. and the rest of the network is healed. They will update that block explorer later, for now use one of the other two to confirm you are on the right fork.

I've updated http://cga.p2p.0x0a.nl:23932 to version 1.3.2.1 and checked getblockhash 69626 just to be sure - "ced063.." it is! I'll have very limited opportunity to track the thread for the next few days, so if at all possible, please PM me if I should do anything; I try to read my mail regularly. Also, I understand that it has been rough with the forks reappearing now and then, but I'll never abandon CGA as a pool operator and fan Smiley; keep up the good work, all!

p2p.0x0a.nl for all your Cryptographic Anomaly, Cypherfunks, FryCoin, GameCredits, Gulden, PenguinCoin, and TittieCoin p2pool nodes! Err.. I mean needs! .. Both.

So MPOS.CGA.anaomolypool finally paid out to my MuCoWa address, but now MuCoWa will not sync when I add my backed up wallet with that address back to it after reinstalling.  I know the address the cga was sent too, but I don't know of any way to put that address into a working wallet.  Anyone know how to do this, or did I lose my cga?  BTW, these cga were mined in the last few weeks and should not have been affected by the fork.  I am also using the latest cga wallet which is working fine.

Still having 1.5 CGA unconfirmed after a transaction between wallets during the first fork. Any way to recover those CGA's? If not, how do I get rid of the  transaction? Wouldn't like to have it pending like that for ever...

I have this payout of  0.53220505 from the digital mint pool http://cga.thedigitalmint.org/index.php?transaction=c6ef09821c88e7a0f82e9d186dd8b7cf2a24f77dc7dda8aa8b1dafc722b01fea that I never received at my deposit address at poloniex. (I'm only depositing directly to poloniex directly because of the forking and the fact that I'm unable to keep my wallet on the correct chain).

Was/is the digital mint on the wrong chain?

Looks like I chose the wrong time to mine this, probably have nothing to show for it. But anyway...

I compiled the new wallet and started a fresh sync but it won't got past block 8737.

Any hints?

I started with a clean slate, not even a wallet.dat. But I tried this anyway and same issue, gets to block 8737 and stops

If it helps,
