My pool now has SSL enabled, along with BobNoble's TheDigitalMint pool!
My pool: https://cga.inceptioncraft.net/pool/index.php
BobNoble's pool: https://cga.thedigitalmint.net/

Good to see another SSL pool!

Please remember to spread your hashrate around... Check out https://cga.inceptioncraft.net/pool/index.php and help to ensure the blockchain is reliable and secure.

It's never a good idea to concentrate all the hashing in one place! It's often unavoidable with new coins until some sanity reigns LOL but now that CGA is getting a stable and higher hashrate, this should be a factor in choosing your primary pool. :-)

If we all do our bit to help keep a coin "right"... we all win!
+1!

rumour has it dev working on a secret project for cga
funny, it's almost like I said that in the trollbox earlier today!
Yes, I am working on a secret project for CGA. If it's successful, I anticipate that most coin developers will start using my code and include it in their coins as well. The project has to do with a method for killing off a fork in an entire coin network and making a network a great deal more secure. It's a very powerful tool, so I will be extremely careful about what coin developers get to use the code. More details to come if it works out. just remember though, buy CGA while it's still at this low, because this kind of stuff will make the price go crazy high Wink

when I saw the AUR fail today with the forks and 51% attacks, I thought about how I could have prevented that or fixed it with my work. Just to give you an idea of what this could be capable of.... Smiley
:O good luck man, this would be amazing news not only for cga but for every crypto coin out there! really the reason why I like cga is because of you and s4w3d0ff, you guys do great work with the coin keep it up:)

I agree, and we do have a (smaller) Chinese exchange, Allcoin.com (I could be completely wrong, but they do have Chinese support  Tongue) but a bigger one would be nice. We have sent emails to bter.com but no reply. One will grow to love us eventually.

I like the way the devs working on CGA. Things are getting better and better. To make it big in the Chinese market, we need to enter either bter or btc38.

I'm glad you're happy with our progress!
I agree, we need to enter a bigger exchange. I personally would like to go for bter, but that's primarily because I'm not familiar with btc38.

EDIT: To be clear, this specific project will not 'fix' a 51% attack vulnerability. This project is focused around preventing damage from forks and stopping them from spreading. If AUR was targeted with a 51% attack, that was a result of poor network hashrate management and the low difficulty because people stopped mining. It is a lesson to coin devs (keep the network hashrate spread out) and to users (mine your coin if you want the value to go up).

Enjoyed our chat in the Poloniex troll!!!  Very excited to hear you are still on this project!

Thanks to our tireless devs  Grin Grin Grin

It is my goal to own 1000 CGAs.... I am working on it lol

I think (unless I misunderstood), albeit indirectly, reward the hash power supply is available, in fact, you need to be able to allocate part of your hash rate - if you have only one GPU (" average "mining companies), then you will never be allocated 100% of mineral resources, but if you have 3, 4, 5... 10 so sure you can.
The same profit pool can switch distribution, 2% of the permanent, just in case.

Thought this one looked familiar too: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=437950.msg4826671#msg4826671

I can't figure out why people think they can repost things here in the same thread and not be called out. It's like they think it's reddit or something! Cheesy

BrokeDummy pointed out to me in the Poloniex Trollbox earlier that my block explorer stopped working. I have since fixed the problem, in case anyone was unable to use it earlier and was wanting an update. When we set up SSL for the subdomain (cga.inceptioncraft.net), Apache wiped out the configuration file and replaced it with a new one that didn't have our settings in it, and we didn't notice. It's now been rebuilt and working again.
