If you see the graphics of bitcoin since the start then you can see that it show the bubble pooped and after this it will slowly going up and it is definitely better for it in the long run so i don't know why you want to get out of this market when the future is still good. A tech need a lot of time until everyone accepted it and bitcoin only become famous last year so of course it need more time.

Your optimism is admirable but mainstream adoption and institutional money will take a long time: Currently the market is an unregulated mess!

Yes lot of people and companies are invested in ICO's so they will not allow the market to go zero.
Do you know 2013 also the market went ATH and dropped to the bottom, it takes 4 years to recover.
many people sold their coins because they thought it will never recover but what happened last year everybody knows.
So wait for good time definatly the market wll recover.

Instead of being negative about this long dump, people must see it as an opportunity to buy coins at low price for investing. Last December 2017, when the price suddenly pumps, most of the people are being negative about investing because the price was too high and now that the price is really good for investing, they are still complaining   about it because they worry that it won't recover anymore. Supporting what @flower1024 said, just look at the price chart of bitcoin before. This is clearly a cycle wherein after pump there will be dump, and then after that, a pump shall happen again.

Don't lose hope and continue holding what you have especially bitcoin.

Maybe you're right. But I'm not really worried about the fact that the market is currently going down. If you are traders you are able to earn even with bearish market. Perhaps this year is not so good to HODL, but I have no doubts that the most legit project will grow drammaticall in a few years.

These peaks and dips are where all the money is made of course each one is engineered slightly differently else we would all spot them coming.

Nobody can pick the absolute top and bottom - just make sure you don't get sucked in to over hyped projects with no real substance and don't even remain in excellent projects once they are over bought.

I have no doubt many many more peaks and many more dips are coming - so just keep to good projects (even if they are not in the top 100 over hyped/manipulated shit) and make sure to exit to btc when they peak out and exit to fiat when btc peaks out. Then repeat all over again.

btc long term for safe bet with little risk for those that cant be bothered to spend hours weeding out the 99% junk here now.

Yes bitcoin price was too high in 2017, and the market correction is happening, but i do think bitcoin still have a future and it still able to going up but ofcourse not as fast as in 2017 cause in 2017 its because of FOMO and people without second thought buying it and lose so many money on it and here comes people that call bitcoin is a bubble. I do think right now slow grow will keep happening in cryptocurrency and it means it the market will recovery eventually.

I'm not sure if bitcoin is a failing thing in the world of cryptocurrency, marketing politics is a mindset that is to compete, and to create an appropriate price in the market, once bitcoin is only a few hundred dollars, now it's six thousand dollars more, it's a development , when it comes to price reductions, this is due to the size of the supply of bitcoin on the market in demand, I think so, thanks.

Cryptocurrency markets are in the early stages of development, do ot underestimate them. I think we can only guess the fate of the cryptocurrency market.

I still have a very strong belief that the cryptocurrencies will be used in future everywhere. As I feel, some people will prefer using the crypto, not fiat. I am sure, their volatility will be not so great as now.

The problem with people is that they consider an investment only when its hyped and on all time high, there will be opposite people who buy at ATL and look out for an opportunity like Dec 17- Jan 18 to book solid profits.

Being pessimistic about the crypto market will never help your portfolio to rise in value. Instead of having those  negative sentiments about the market better check the chart way back from 2009. I was also in your situation in 2016 where the market is quite low. I sold all that I have during that time (Nxt & Xem)  without even bothering to research or ask question here in the forum. (Join the forum may 2017) and Its one of my biggest regret. I should have hold it and sold 6 to 8 months after.
