I talked about this coin to many guys.
They just tell me:it is dumping, everyone is trying to sell this coin.

It is really a hard work.

Any good ideas?

It's time to buy, looks how many bitcoins are waiting to buy at 1 Satoshi.  Look at coins like mint for comparison! add up all the buy orders and they don't match karma's.  Karma will rise like the Phoenix soon, many will dump but the smart money will hold.

Also volume on CoinWarz.com is still stuck at 0 since they only point at coinmarket.io which has been paused for sometime.

The leadership team is working hard to get the karma train back! keep the faith.

Check this out it just made yahoo news this morning and got national news coverage.

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/sideshow/cookies-monsters--counterfeiters-scheme-girl-scout-troop-out-of-money-203319765.html?soc_src=copy

This could be a very cheap (they only lost $200) to get Karmacoin a very big news promotion if we were to help these girls out.

I like it - you want to post this to the wall and alert them - let me know when you are ready - I will start the tweet.

If only there was a Karma Nation that this would be the official currency of, then we could catch some of the glow of Aurora coin and Maza coin.   Grin

look at the volumes. silly orders. those coins are simply a joke. don't let the hype fool ya. always look at volumes. then graphs.

You can tell that those coins are being used to hype, pump and dump.

Auroracoin is actually an idea that can change the whole cryptoworld for better or worse.

Aurora and Maza are not pump and dump coins they are rising because people are speculating about the worlds first two national currencies and what that could mean for the crypto coin movement.
if Iceland and Lakota Nation end up ditching fiat currency altogether that will be HUGE news and a massive win for everyone that supports crypto currency.

coins that have entire communities backing them are far more useful and valuable than coins which are purely backed by a niche group of people.
This is what people are speculating on and what has caused the prices to rise so dramatically...

I absolutely agree that the market price for those coins is pretty hot right now and is likely to drop once they start giving them out like candy but that was the intention all along, to get the coins into as many hands as possible because as more people use them... the price will go up again relative to fiat...

I think KarmaCoin can learn a lot from these coins and it will be worthwhile to watch and see how they go so we can learn from any mistakes that are made...

I think we will begin to see more national currencies in the future.. particularly from South America and Africa and I don't see this as a bad thing .. this is actually the solution to the ever increasing block size and the transaction limitations of BITCOIN. By having smaller currencies shoulder the burden of micro-transactions it frees up the congestion on the Bitcoin network.

It is becoming increasingly evident that coins created with a purpose are much more likely to rise in value than coins created simply to line their creators pockets.

I think if KarmaCoin plays its cards right and remains true to its core ideology it has a huge advantage over national currencies as it is based on a universal principle... but also because it is such a universal idea its going to take a lot longer to gain a critical mass of users... (there are far fewer transactions made for donations than their are for purchases for example.)

as always.. all I can say to those impatient people is... watch this space... nobody cared about MazaCoin before it hit forbes and right after that happened the price went up 10 fold...

you need to re-evaluate cryptocurrencies if you believe aurora and mazacoin are the next best thing, then i hope you dont loose alot. look at mint. look at leaf. These coins are only worth what the hype is worth. Therefore there are only bears and wolfs posting about those two. which one are you ?

A real coin. the one that stays low and matures properly is a coin with a strong dev team and even stronger community support

I think you need to read up more on the economic histories of Lakota and Iceland before you can appreciate why there is a need in those communities for something like a decentralized national currency that is secured by cryptography.

necessity is both the mother of invention and the driving force behind adoption and of course adoption is the key to a successful currency.

this is why I am also investing in KarmaCoin because I think there really is a need being fulfilled by this coin.. a need to get away from the pump and dump endless cycle of greed and deception.. and a real desire to see crypto coins be used to make direct positive change in peoples lives.

now obviously I am not a saint, nor do I claim to be and most of us here are not just collecting KarmaCoins for purely altruistic reasons. but the thing that fascinates me about this coin is that you can take that idea of Altruism, marry it to Free Market Capitalism and then come up with a decentralized unstoppable mechanism for generating wealth and encouraging generosity at the same time. In that regard I think Karma Coin is unique and that is why I am sitting here watching this experiment unfold.

people who say that we need to pump and hype this coin are missing the point... what we need to do, and what it appears we are doing, is create real value for the coin and get it into as many hands as possible.... the more people that have it.. the more people can spend it.. the more shops/charities will accept it and the more the price will go up all on its own.... we need to do with this coin, what few coins have achieved.. and that is.. get it out of the hands of uber-nerds, hackers and speculators and into the hands of women, children and and the less well off...

Why did Aurora coin recently have a higher Market Cap than Litecoin? (of course its lower now but Aurora was still the first AltCoin do to that!) because the creators of Aurora have a solid plan in place for getting the coin into 320,000 new hands by giving it away.
right now yes it is driven a lot by hype and speculation... but who knows where it will be in a few months time if even half that many people take up the offer and start using it.
and just think what would happen to KarmaCoin if 320,000 people started using it!!! right now there's probably less than a few hundred people that own it.

i understand what the Auracoin is trying to archive. but its is nonsense talk. look at bitcoin. i has passed 4 yrs and still is unknown to the world. Auracoin is a joke. it is the whole definition of the tulip. All that coin is , is an opportunity for some one to make quick bucks while they hide in the desire of the people to believe this coins will be that.

And coinmarketcap is user input data. If someone sells a coin at 1coin@100000BTc rate, but only buys 0.00001 Btc worth of it. coinmarketcap will take this rate (100000BTCs a coin) and time it with all the coins and give you a market cap. Coinmarketcap is not to be taken seriously anytime a coin lunches.

Does anyone else notice that someone has bid orders at 1 satoshi waiting for miners to dump to him...and as soon as they do he turns around and adds it to the ask wall at 2 satoshis?  He's making a quick profit there...but at the same time it's making it very difficult for KARM to move.  I noticed yesterday all the 2 satoshi asks were eaten up and then instantly he or someone else threw another 10 BTC worth of asks to replace it.  We need some real volume to get this thing moving....

if 50% of all bitcoins were held in a fund waiting to be given out for free to anyone with an ID... could you imagine the uptake rate? well you'll only need to wait a few weeks to find out...
All crypto-coins are still in the experimental stage.. nobody knows which ones will actually win but it certainly will be interesting to watch.

if you put in an order the same price as everyone else's your order gets executed last.
so unless the exchange is doing something dodgy, if you buy at 1 to sell at 2 you will be waiting a very very long time.

i wouldn't blame people who bought at 1 for selling at 2, I mean they just doubled their money.. who wouldn't be tempted...

EDIT.. BTW feel free to try it out... if you buy at 1 and sell at 2.. you will push the price up eventually.

pshh forget it. you buy at 1 now. by the time you can sell at 2. let say. then it will be forever before you can buy back. Those 13 Btc order before you trying to sell at 2 will try to buy back at 1. So considering only those 13btcs.they will be worth 1 billion 300 million coins. good luck trying to get people to dump out that many. soon the block reward will halve and then it will be even harder for regular miners to dump that many coin

It depends on how much of a percentage of the bid support is the same person.  And how much of the wall at 2 is the same person.  Having watched the market for the last week or so it appears that it may be one person doing about 90% of the buying and selling.  The volume is very low right now which makes it easy for them.  Just watch...the moment that someone dumps coins into the 1 satoshi bid you see it added to the 2 satoshi sell wall within a minute.

This is good. We can always made changes as we go along.
