How Does This Work?

I absolutely agree that everyone with a vested interest should build something for the community. It creates value for all of us..

that being said however.. we don't necessarily need infrastructure for this coin to be a success... the P2p payment infrastructure is already there so we just need to get more creative...

did you guys see the story about that teenager in the US who held up a bitcoin sign at the super bowl and got $20,000 worth of BTC donations?

all we need is a good news story like that... if some guy (or girl)  makes a bucket load of karma donations for posting a video on youtube where they have done something truly great to help others.. then this could go viral.

personally I would love to see people posting videos on youtube about the latest project they are working on with a donate address on it... I certainly plan to make some of my own videos, although i'm not a hero lol... I think KarmaCoin would be a great learning experience for kids and an excellent fund raiser to boot (a lot better than going door to door to sell chocolate bars)...

I'd also like to see KarmaCoin get involved in places like Ukraine and Syria at some point too.. not as a force to help fund rebellions but more as a way of helping families and children to get food and medicine.

Another great idea would be microfunding to help the poorest people in the world start up new businesses (similar to microlending)

all of these things will help grow the value of KarmaCoin and also directly impact on peoples lives in a positive way...

just some thoughts and ideas I have for the future.... and I'm not even part of the founders.. just some guy who is interested in the idea of a currency/payment system based on altruism.

after all why does bill gates have to be the only billionaire who spends most of his time giving his money away while still managing to make more each year than he can give out.
with Karma Coin we can all be Karma coin millionaires at least.. even if 1 Karma is currently only worth a fraction of a cent.

With community like this, Karma is here to stay and only grow. I bought so many millions at 2 satoshi. I will come up my proposal - changes that could be added in next version of website

We have to get through this initial easy mining phase before the price goes up and it is worth while to give these coins away.  These are the low dips everyone should be buying at.  

The reason it took off was because of the mining rewards, and not that coinmarket.io halted trading for the last week, coinwarz hasn't redirected to mintpal for its calculations.  Right now there are more sellers than buyers, but that will change.  Who doesn't want to buy a coin for 1 satoshi and sell for 100% profit at 2 satoshi.   Those normal market fluctuations have to work their way out.   As the mining becomes more difficult, the miners will want a better reward and not dump.  

In time this coin will be back on track.  Buy now while you can.  Back in mid february the same thing happened and we were trading at 2 Satoshi, then it went to 7 Satoshi.   No different now except we have a website that just went up and KarmaWall for posting potential giving targets.  The ground work is being laid for a solid coin here with an excellent mission.  Keep the karma faith!

there is too many things going on for this coin. it will gain momentum soon. there is now way this is only worth 1 satoshi.
