Hope you made that call. Watching the Utd game and I got what I was hoping for. A squad that's rusty af, weak and poor mentality. Pogba was shamefully wasteful time after time, while Zaha and co were energectic and fast.

No United fan here but that VAR is really shitty. OK I think the penalty was fair, since hand not naturally away but I wouldn't complain if it wasn't given. But the penalty retake because de Gea shifted a foot off ? That was a gift for Hodgson. I didn't like VAR before, think I'll like it even less now.

I lost count how many times I picked x - y for home or away team but the result ended with y - x. Utd vs Palace for example. I had 3 - 1 win for Utd and happened the opposite. I also find myself having the exact number of total goals by both team but nowhere near to my picks. For example, if I have a 1 - 1 draw then one team win by 2 - 0 or 0 -2.

I have not watched Utd match but I did not expect this result. In one of my multi bet-slip I had Utd draw no bet and look what we got?
I had Leeds, Everton, Dortmund and Arsenal in that same slip.

Lesson: Two teams I am going to avoid in this season. Utd and Tottenham. Both are shit I guess.

Yeah, I have similar feelings. I have 6.5 points which is not a lot better than your predictions. I think that some people who are in the top will likely stay there because they are consistently very good at predictions of matches outcomes, but some movement closer to the top is very possible. I feel very unsure about this particular weekend, though, because when making my picks I often had difficulty making decisions since in many cases even the result was far from obvious! I won't be surprised if I get zero points for the upcoming round. But I remain optimistic.

I doubt it. The table will probably look completely different to what it is now. Every user has good and bad weeks and sometimes you can hit streaks of both. It's not uncommon to get next to zero points in some rounds but you can still do pretty well. I started off well last season, then spent a lot of it mid table, finally managed to get myself into a top 5 spot then lost it on the final round to finish eight. Just do your best and don't worry too much about what others are doing.

United were terrible. Really didn't think they would have trouble getting the win here. I'm think Ollie will be the odds on the first to go, though I don't think he's to blame.

I'm not sure how they pick them. It might have something to do with who picks the outcome the most which would be Spurs in this case.

If a player has not submitted picks for a particular game or round he/she may qualify for default picks depending on the allocation of defaults for the tournament. A default pick is not an automatic point - it is only awarded if the default team wins. We use the default pick system because we don't want people who miss a game or two to feel like they've fallen behind and that there's not much point in continuing. We think the default safety net is reasonable, especially because it's tightly controlled by a limited number of defaults being available for each tournament. Long-term defaulting gets you nowhere and regular defaulters will quickly fall down the rankings.

Spurs are in the lead now with 30 minutes to go. Not watching it so can't comment on the game but I went for the 0-0 so all I can get is a point from the draw now.

I dunno what he'll do but I doubt they'll bench him. He's just scored four goals in the Southampton game. Didn't expect this from Spurs. Son seems to be quite diverse in where he can play so I'm sure they can move him elsewhere to accommodate Bale:

Maybe put Bale and Kane up front and Son behind them or on the wing. He's never struck me as being an out and out striker anyway. Could bench Lucas Moura also.

Not watching the matches but seeing the livescores updates and yeah, crazy. Southampton seemed to actually have more attempts but I guess Kane and Son were on Song today, ever the duo to pop up and ride things crazy -- and to be fair they could have done it the first match around.

This is going to be a low scoring match-week for us. There’s been so many unpredictable scores, high scoring games which nobody saw coming. Maybe this could be the lowest number of ‘exact’ points scoring games for the whole season.

Hehe! The reason for my first week weird picks:

Round 1 was awful for me, both here as well in PL pool. I tried to be over ambitious and it backfired. Hahay had a superb week! 11.5 points in just 7 matches, not bad man!

I tried favoring underdogs and predicted upsets in every game in first week. But this week, I have been thorough in my evaluation. So far it's going above average. Other than Crystal Palace and Brighton wins (which were unexpected), I am close in every other game. I picked 1-1 for Arsenal game but Nketiah's late goal stole 3 points from me. Got points in rest of the games.

For Chelsea vs Liverpool, I am expecting 1 goal difference win for Chelsea. It could be 2-1 or 3-2. But I chose 3-1 in favour of Chelsea. Now don't get surprised once again if Chelsea wins and I get points in this one as well.
