I had City to win 2:1, as many others, so I wasn't very happy after late Jesus goal. It was good game and Wolves were close to equalise score.

Question to @hilariousandco. Will we have Champions league pool this year? If yes, then probably it would be good to start things soon - group stage will begin on October 20th, so, less than month left.

This mark the end of the 2nd round and Fortebet won the Golden Cap with 15 points ( 2 exact guess ). I was trailing on the 2nd position and I knew I didnt have the chance to win the Golden Cap even if I managed to get exact guess on the last game, he will still gets the close guess then still stand on top of the leaderboard

Finally I got a correct score on the City 3-1 win! Narrowly missed out on the 0-0 Villa game but they had to go and score to make it 1-0.

Damn I dropped out of Top 10 after taking the risk, and not getting it right. I honestly thought Sheffield were going to trounce Aston Villa but at least most of us got City "close",,, why did Jesus have to score:P

I had a decent round and I am happy with it. I was too ambitious with the City match and gone with 2 - 4, it did not work however at least got 1.5 points.

Finally I got a correct score on the City 3-1 win!

I am yet to have a correct score. I had 8 right pick in the last round but no correct sore. Imagine if I had few correct score, I could have better point in the round. Without any correct score it's very hard to make good round.

I could see Southampton and Leeds doing better.  Hasn't shown yet tho.  Lol.  

Edit:  And Brighton seems to be playing well.  They looked decent vs Chelsea and beat NUFC away.  I could see them looking decent vs United this weekend.    Double chance?

@toke. Double chance? If Brighton odds are bigger than 10 I'm taking it =D Might even take them anyway just for the misery pile on. United have a League Cup game tonight and while tempting on the odds, I know they'll take out their frustrations on lower league opponents haha.

Just read that this Week 2 was the leagues record of goals (44). Record's been at 43 since 2011 (thank Newcastle's fighback from 4-0 down at HT, classic Arsenal haha). So Jesus's goal really was special heh.

I heard that from the commentators yesterday and thought to bring this here but you were faster then me. The last second goal made the difference and I think this round really needed something like this after all those 5 - 2, 4 - 3, 4 - 2 matches. It looks crazy when you see them all together. In the city match, I was actually taking the inspiration of these many goals and had a pick of 2 - 4 but it did not work. I was two goals behind 😜

I think we'll probably see some huge-scoring games this seasons especially when some of the big teams come up against the relegation favourites. Both Leeds and Leicester have scored the most goals at seven a piece and they're playing each other next month so that could be a goal fest. Leeds are also playing City at home on the third and I think that will be an interesting watch. If Leeds can hold their own and play like they did against Liverpool I think they could go far this season as those two teams are the big testers. Hopefully their performances weren't just a fluke and they don't get pummelled by City which I could see happening.

Southampton have shown us they are not a shit team so they will be hurting from the two losses and you know they can get a win at some point, just hope it is not too late in the season. So far, tough for the promoted teams too, I am beginning to think only Leeds can stay up now.

What I'm really hoping is that they don't tire the way Klopp's heavy metal 2016/17 did towards the end. He's much more pragmatic the last two seasons, which is bad for entertainment but long-term, better for the team. Bielsa's tactics in training are apparently just as demanding on fitness so I'd prefer them not to fade the way they did in Championship 18/19, they've got to find a balance -- but yes, certainly they should still be crazy enough to run City ragged and I hope they do (already got a 12/1 bet on them to win haha, remember Norwich?).

If Bale can stay fit you have a chance of getting into the top 4 & gaining much needed CL football. I like the look of Leeds, hoping they can have a good season (my Mum is a Leeds fan).

Yeah, people have speculated why that happens but I would think it makes more sense to get tired out towards the end of the game rather than a season. Bielsa seems to be big on fitness so I'm sure they will improve other time anyway but being in the PL is a big step up from the Championship which could be a shock to the system. I'd be very surprised if they can keep up their current form throughout out the season though.

I was already writing about this somewhere. That Bale deal is really strange for me because of this you just mentioned and another fact. Spurs bought 2 very attacking full backs (Doherty, Regulion) this season for considerable money. I expected them to line with 5 at the back and those 2 playing more like wingers. "Real" winger like Bale will just take space from them. This transfer even though looks spectacular on the surface made me think Spurs will have bad season since they don't have a real idea what they want from the team.

As Trofo noted, with them 3 upfront and offensive full-backs, it will probably be an overkill. Especially because Spurs are really weak in midfield.

It can work if Bale and Son will play as wingers cutting inside while the full-backs are providing width - but they will really suffer defensively if they try that.

Left wing..?  But with Son looking really good cutting in from the left, we could prolly see Bale play right wing like he mostly did at Real Madrid.
